  1. Let it go or you'll drive yourself nuts. When the Bills were on the clock I was hoping against all hope that they'd take Orakpo but, of course, they took Maybin. It was the same thing when Whitner was taken...I really wanted them to take Ngata. Nope. It is what it is. No sense worrying about something that can't be changed.
  2. Agreed. I only watched today because of my fantasy teams and it drove home the fact for me that I love the Bills much more than the NFL. If the Bills ever leave Buffalo (God forbid), I'll be watching college football and finding other ways to occupy my Sundays.
  3. Really? Losing fans by the minute? He doesn't understand Bills fans then. We are a masochistic lot by nature. Maybe the fair-weather or bandwagon fans are jumping ship but that happens to every NFL team when they are losing. Are we fed up? Sure. Have we seen this sorry act before? Yup. Are we leaving? Uh, no...(stupid as that might seem to some). Sorry, but he's not "100% accurate." If venting makes him feel better, then great...we all do it, too.
  4. The way they've been cutting 'players', maybe he's the only one still left on the team...
  5. From one Ray to another, I hope you're right. Personally, I'll believe it when I see it. Ralph Wilson has a LOT to prove to me and every other Bills fan. They way he's let this team deteriorate over the last decade+ is absolutely embarrassing and disgraceful. Actions speak louder than words and, until we see some concrete proof, this is all just hearsay. Talk is cheap and this organization is the 'Chatty Cathy' of the NFL.
  6. There's no doubt that the NCAA has become a cash grab as well but at least they don't yank teams away from their fanbases or hold them hostage by threatening to leave town.
  7. The team and the never-ending greed that is the NFL would be dead to me. I love the game of football so I'd turn my attention strictly to college. Specifically, my favorite team since childhood, the Alabama Crimson Tide.
  8. Whatever...nope. Some of my friends here in Richmond are Deadskin fans. I sing this version for them just to piss them off: To hell... With the Redskins... They didn't get a vic-tor-reeeeee... To hell... With the Redskins... They SUCK... Just like... DC!!!!! Sometimes I'll change it up on them and make the last two lines: So bad... You see!!!!!
  9. I'd choose you but, then again, who's R. Rich? Plus, you've gotten horrible about returning phone calls. That and the fact that I own you in fantasy football. But, hey, at least I don't hate you!
  10. Who's Rich?
  11. Hopefully, it won't COME to that and WANG will GET UP for all of his opponents and PERFORM UNDER PRESSURE. If so, he'll make it HARD ON the Bills to cut him.
  12. Pro Football Talk...'nuff said.
  13. They'd all fit in well with Mike Hunt.
  14. If he doesn't, oh well. He let 10 years of his football life (and ours) pass him by and has no one to blame but himself for running this team into the ground over the last decade.
  15. FWIW, in their review of the Bills draft on the NFL Network, Charles Davis and Corey Chavous really liked him, too.
  16. I've had the NFL Sunday Ticket for at least a dozen years and I'll continue to get it whether they go 0-16 or 16-0. I'm a diehard. They're in my blood...I don't have a choice.
  17. Have Your Next Zantac, Eeyore...and chill out. Remind me again for which NFL front office you worked? The draft just ended today and it's a failure in your eyes already. "Wow"!
  18. Maybe he's the karmic spark this town and these franchises so desperately need. If the Sabres can hold this lead, make sure he's at the rest of their playoff games! lol GO SABRES!!!!
  19. For those of you who put stock in what Mayock says (and I do think he's one of the better evaluators out there), he had a third round grade on Troup. The Bills took him with a high two. They obviously think more highly of him than Mayock. We'll see. Either way, it was obviously a high area of need and Troup needs to pay significant dividends.
  20. Sure. Because a team that just spent a high pick on Knowshon Moreno last year wants to give up one of the most talented wideouts in the league ("troubled" or not) for...Marshawn Lynch. Let's get real here.
  21. More than likely they're also looking for a left tackle with their first rounder. Chances are they'll get neither. Such is life in Bills land.
  22. Seriously??
  23. Beerball, get well soon. Mrs. Beer Ball, hang in there. Prayers and best wishes to you both.
  24. Round 1 --- Bryan Bulaga OT Iowa - Need a dominant OT, Bulaga looks to be the real deal. Round 2 --- Jason Pierre-Paul DE South Florida - Really like Pike and think that he'll be a good one with some added bulk but the DE here is too good to pass up, especially if Schobel retires (or maybe Schobel garners an additional pick). Round 3 --- Eric Norwood ILB South Carolina - can't ignore the LB corps any longer...one of the biggest weaknesses on the team last year. Round 4 --- Dan LeFevour QB Central Michigan - Time to groom a QB and there's value at this spot...hope to grab a serviceable vet via FA/trade. Still on the board after our #4 pick, which you may use: --- Jared Veldheer OT Hillsdale - keep shoring up the O-line, especially at tackle.
