Bills' Tyler Bass ranks as NFL's best kicker heading into Week 11

Brad Daluiso I remember was a kickoff specialist, brought in because he had a stronger leg than Norwood, later became the kicker for the Giants. -

Thinking Bass needs to make a couple of 55-60 yard game winners to be mentioned in the same breath as Tucker. He would also have to make his next 21 FG's in a row to tie Tucker's career percentage. Last I looked we have 5 cold weather games this season in Dec and Jan, when kicking the ball is like kicking a bowling ball. -
According to Overthecap.com he earned over $21MM during his NFL Career. Have to assume its all gone up in smoke.

A Few Thought about the Jets Game, in no particular order
BearNorth replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
On the 35 yard toe tap, he outran the DB's, Josh underthrew the ball, which was batted and Davis grabbed it falling OOB while being interfered with. -

Great job as usual. Here's a stat [yes I know it was against the Jests] that opened my eyes; Allen threw for 305 of his 366 yards using play action, the 2nd-most in a game by any QB since 2016. Play action slows the pass rush, and wondering if it also doesn't eventually lead to better room for the running game. -
Poor roster decisions still an issue with this regime

I clocked that sack at 2.8 seconds, Brieda might not have realized he had the assignment, but Josh had plenty of time to get rid of the ball. I suspect he will realize that in the film room this week. Very lucky it was a db on a blitz, and not a 275 pound DE. -
Yesterday we had 4 rushing TD's - 3 to Brown's side. That is tied for the best team rushing TD single game performance in the league this year. We are 5th in the league in rushing TD's per game.

Re: punters. Mason Crosby in 2019 & 2020 was 38/40 on FG's. This year he's 14/21. Our former punter is his holder. Bass-o-matic is 48/49 this year on FG's and XP's. Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I submit exhibit #1. -
Gabriel Davis with Week 10’s Toe Drag Swag!

He also gives us size in the redzone. 6-3 212 is a serious matchup problem for most DB's. -

I think the McKenzie jet sweep was the fastest I've seen Moss run all season. Jets looked really inept on that play. -

Esp since the starting corner got hurt and they had to plug in Guidry, and then they asked him to play single coverage against the Bills #1 receiver?? Defensive genius coach ???? -

anyone think the roughing call on Epenesa was because someone had the Jets scoring 17? -

BearNorth replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is from August of this year: SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints renewed its prior calls to members to get a COVID-19 vaccine and to wear face masks in public gatherings Thursday. Church leaders said in a statement that available vaccines have proven to be both safe and effective and urged members to help limit the spread of the virus. The message was the latest in a series of statements from church leaders encouraging vaccination efforts against COVID-19. -
We pay Dion Dawkins $11MM per season, they pay Aaron Donald $14MM. They have 10 players with Cap hits above $5MM, we have 16 players with Cap hits above $5MM. Bills JAG's with cap hits above $5MM include Addison, Klein, and Butler.

Happy Veterans Day to all Bills Nation Veterans

Yes, I worked in payroll [troops really appreciate getting paid correctly], spent time at Beale which was a SR-71, KC-135, and B-52 base, KI Sawyer which was a KC-135 and B-52 base, and U-Tapao Thailand, which had KC-135's and B-52. You should thank the tanker pilots as well, they give our aircraft nearly unlimited range. Those B-52's in Iraq were flying 7,000 mile round trips. -

Referee Tony Corrente corrupt as *****!!!
BearNorth replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall
Then there's the issue that we have a 69 year old on-field referee. Please don't tell me that he's as fit and quick thinking as someone quite a bit younger. The refereeing crew is dealing with world class athletes in mainly their 20's and 30's. Colonels in the military have to retire when they are in their 50's. -

Truthfully Taunting [very subjective call] should just be a fine, perhaps escalating for repeat offenses. Penalizing a team for an action by one player that has nothing to do with the play is IMHO idiotic. Yes the players are very well paid, but perhaps a taunting penalty of $25K first offense, $100K second, and one game suspension for a third or subsequent would cure this without affecting the game being played. Same thing with non-contact unsportmanlike. Who knows how many of these are because the ref is having a bad day, had a bad travel experience on the way to the game, or is under the sway of people who want to influence the game outcome [Remember Tim Donaghy in the NBA]. IMHO The Tre White penalty kerfuffle against Jax falls into this category. The other thing is the subjectivity of holding calls. If the holding on the Derrick Henry TD in the Tenn game didn't rise to the level of a flag, then that should become the new standard example for not calling holding. Right now a ref could call holding on every single play, likely on both the offense and the defense, but they pick and choose. -
Beane wasn't here then, but this guy was right in their backyard. Guess I'll have to blame the Brandon brain trust.
