  1. Anyone who is representing themselves in most cases is an idiot. Yeah it sucks to have to give 5% of your salary to someone but it will cost you way more to not have someone well versed in the business of negotiation in your corner. That's a very specific thing where an agent may not be necessary with a slotting system. But a good agent will negotiate other outside endorsements and deals for their client. A player isn't going to have time to make those sorts of calls.
  2. I suspect it will be down to Brown or Karlos. If they cut Karlos they will try to keep him on the practice squad. Although if Freddie or Boobie look like crap and the other two looks good then they could be on the block. Outside of Shady I don't think anyone is safe. Camp performance will be huge for these backs. Although I think Bryce Brown is the most vulnerable the other three aren't untouchable.
  3. I think Rex and the Bills front office must have liked what they have in Powell. It is the only explanation as to why the team did not go after a more veteran option to backup the MLB position. I do think that the team if depleted from injury at that position could bring back Spikes who is sitting out on the street (don't think they will but you never know).
  4. I really like McCoy from a fantasy perspective esp if you are PPR. For one the Bills defense is going to be good enough where they will be in close games thus they will most likely be running the ball throughout the game. Bills O-line is a concern but I think Kujo and InCog will be useful additions along with an improvement in coaching and scheme. The Bills also will likely have a conservative passing game and will be dumping it down to McCoy a lot.
  5. Hoping to be able to draft both of them in fantasy football. Probably won't get to.
  6. Throw out a huge net and you will pull in some fish type deal. But still Duke, a porn star? Come on, you don't need to go digging in the garbage for that. I hope the guys in the locker room give him a all in good fun ribbing for that one. It must really suck to be famous now as opposed to 20+ years ago. Before the internet and cell phones with cameras you would hear stories of rock bands and athletes having girls in every city that wouldn't !@#$ up their life. Now anytime you just want to get a hot piece of ass you have to make sure she isn't the type of girl that would sell you out for 5 seconds of social media fame. If I was ever fortunate enough to be a pro athlete I would get a vasectomy and never have a monogamous relationship till I was way into my 30's. Too much opportunity for exploitation
  7. The one thing people don't boycott is sports. And the people that would be politically active enough to boycott the Bills over Trump probably weren't fans or pouring money into the product. A Latino fan of the Chargers is still going to watch the Chargers take on the Bills regardless of who owns the Bills. Still Trump would not have been a good owner. We lucked out not getting him as an owner.
  8. Albert was always a monster physical talent but a lot of people seem to forget that the game is very mental both on and off the field. Having all that on your lap takes a toll on a man and some people just can't handle it or put in the consistent effort needed.
  9. It's fair, the Bills have a QB situation that's not that good and doesn't stand too much chance of improving in the next 3 seasons (If they go with a rookie after this upcoming season they will have to groom him for a couple of seasons), also our cap situation next season is a bit concerning. So while the rest of the roster is loaded for the most part, the team has a better front office and an owner will to spend there remains some concerns going forward. But !@#$ it it's about this season.
  10. Camp fodder. Rex knows him and is kicking the tires. I don't think he will get any serious reps more than likely will be on the third or fourth team in camp and then cut in the first two rounds of cuts.
  11. 99% percent of the bleacher report is garbage. They have some decent writers but the user generated content is mostly terrible.
  12. Jocks are easy targets for cities looking to generate tax revenue. For better or worse it's hard to gain sympathy for athletes on huge contracts. It's a popular thing to go after these guys since they play a game for a very good living doesn't gain them much sympathy. I do think these taxes are excessive an unfairly targeting a soft target, esp when you think about the lower level coaches and trainers and players who aren't getting paid much or minor league players.
  13. I think Hogan ends up being the slot receiver. I see Harvin getting hurt. Hogan has a good skillset out of the slot and if Harvin gets hurt Hogan wll step in.
  14. When I scrolled down I thought it said special Olympics and I thought that was either a typo or a genius insult to Goodwin.
  15. I expect a better form of Pettine's defense. In particular I expect them to be stronger against the run than when Pettine was here. I think you will see a lot of blitzes and man to man coverage. But I think that the defense overall will be great. Ryan knows how to coach a defense.
  16. Scoring points is kind of something the offense needs to improve on. To narrow it down the offense needs to punch it in when they get in the red-zone. Too many times the team settled for field goals.
  17. I think he will be the Reggie Bush/Sproles back for that offense and be very successful at it. They still have Ingram as the power back and I think they want to keep Spiller healthy and fresh in a passing down role. As far as superstar I don't think he can handle a full time work load and the Saints won't give him the touches needed to put up !@#$ed up stats. But they will give him enough opportunity to be a potent weapon in that offense.
  18. I don't think they tried to trade Peyton. It makes no sense as to why they would try to trade him in conference.
  19. Get Bradham and Dareus signed soon. Glenn on the other hand they might not want to commit to, see how he plays this season. Personally I would sign them all up as soon as possible but I always worry about the Bills losing talent. But if there is one of the 3 I could see them waiting on it is Glenn.
  20. It would take tremendous circumstances for Cassel to be cut. Henderson to me has nothing to worry about till pads come on. Even if Kujo takes the RT spot (Which despite his training and mini-camp showing doesn't mean much till the pads come on) Henderson still will be the swing tackle. The team needs depth along the O-line, Henderson can provide that depth.
  21. Is there any update on this? I don't think Mathis will come to Buffalo, but if he finds himself not finding that long term contract what are the odds the Bills could offer a 5-6 million dollar one year deal?
  22. I think the issue people here took with it was that the team didn't replace him with anyone of note. They lose Levitre to a ridiculous contract, a prudent move considering the contract and the position. But the team didn't find a way to get a replacement at the guard position till they signed Williams this past off-season and that was a bust.
  23. Levitre was a big bust for the Titans. They spent big on him hoping he would be a key cog on the O-line and be a factor in turning around that unit. Shocking as he was a young and productive player for us. You really can't predict this game at all.
  24. It's a good sign that means very little, although it is better than a bad sign that means very little.
