Pretty much, the Seahawks success came from Wilson managing the games for 3 quarters allowing the great defense and ground attack to do most of the work and sprinkling in a few decent plays with his arm. Wilson also was a very clutch player in the 4th quarter which helped them win games. But Wilson was very mediocre at times esp early in games. He isn't a dynamic QB but rather a above average QB with a great team around him. However if you pay him a cap number close to 20 million then you are going to severely limit how good the team can be around him. It's going to be similar to how the Raven's were with Flacco, going from championship contention to a little above the middle of the pack, having to let go of good players or being unable to retain certain players due to cap concerns caused by having such a huge contract on the books.

Good coaches fit the scheme to the players. However I think Roman has the players he wants, he was hired early in the off-season and I assume Whaley, Rex, and him have worked together getting the players they want for the offensive and defensive systems. They got versatile players like Clay, Harvin, and McCoy and they brought in big mauler guards in Miller and Incognito. They also got a power fullback in Felton which seems to fit his scheme. Overall I think a good coach will work the system around the players and bring in the necessary parts needed to make their system more effective.

Tuel stinks, he is a player that should be scratching and clawing to be a third string QB. He was lucky they changed the practice squad rules so he was able to hang on the PS longer.

This team has a lot of talent and got an upgrade in the coaching department. I still would like to see Spikes back and the team signing Landry. Both guys would add great depth to the defense. But questions along the O-line and the big question mark at QB certainly are flaws on this team. So expectations are high but tempered.

It's a good problem to have. There is so much talent on this roster that UDFA's don't view it as a super attractive spot to land. I think in the end if the team wants to find the next Jason Peters or Jabari Greer (Not so highly touted UDFA's that ended up with good careers) the scouting department could land that player, but if the next Da Rick Rodgers (highly touted UDFA) slips out of our hands then so be it.

If Rex brings Collins and basically gets a first round talent for nothing that will really show his talents as a recruiter and the value he can bring to the franchise. Collins could slot in as either a guard or tackle on the right side. If the team were able to land Collins the O-line would shape up nicely. LT- Glenn LG- Incognito C-Wood RG- Miller/Williams RT- Collins/Cyrus/Henderson Or the Bills could slot in Collins at RG and have Henderson and Cyrus at RT if either one develops. Basically the Bills are trying to get a first round type talent for nothing. Smart move, let's see if Rex who players seems to love can make this happen.

Pretty fair. Keep in mind this is after the draft. The Bills didn't have a 1st or 4th round pick so I would imagine that if you take a quick snapshot after the draft when other teams had more selections it's possible that teams could hop over. It's all speculation. Let the pre-season play out before you take any "rankings" seriously and even then weeks 1-4 of the regular season will really start the process of getting a good snapshot of the season.

I like this pick. To me he slots in as a solid backup tight end. He could even play fullback a little. I don't think long term he could be a starter but I think he could be a high quality backup which is the kind of player you will find in round 6. I see his role as a 30-40 catch tight end playing in dual tight end and back up situations. Probably not going to have much impact year one but maybe they stash him on the PS for 1 year and he comes into camp year two ready to make a push at a backup position.

The Big knock on the Watkins trade was that the Bills gave up pick 9 plus a future 1st and 4th to trade up 5 spots to take a WR in a WR rich draft. Draft pundits were saying how the Bills could have taken ODB and kept those future picks. That is however a lot of hindsight ODB shot up the draft boards late to go into the top 10 he wasn't viewed as an elite prospect like Mike Evans or Sammy his stock was more towards the late and middle first round. The elite prospects at WR were Watkins, Evans, And Kelvin Benjamin. Out of those 3 Benjamin was viewed as having character issues and the Bills were going to have to trade up for both Evans and Watkins. So a lot of the criticism of the trade is coming from a lot of hindsight. The 9th and 19th pick plus a 4th rounder was a steep price to trade up just 5 spots. But the team got a really good player to do so. If Sammy gives the team 8 great seasons no one is going to care that the price to get him was a bit steep.

Pretty much the case here. Goodell and the NFL in general are far too dogmatic with their rules. Much like zero tolerance policies being dogmatic with rules without taking into account context or circumstance is dumb and doesn't work. The NFL Should have some sort of discretion when it comes to these issues. In this case they should allow Collins to enter the supplemental draft. Give teams more time to sort out the situation and get info on it, while allowing teams to assess his worth through the bidding process. Instead you are kind of screwing up the kids future because of speculation and unwillingness to act.

The Jets got lucky Williams fell to them, the rest of their draft was decent but nothing spectacular. Once again if the players you draft turn out to be good who gives a **** what value you got.

Weird situation. I hope the NFL lets him into the supplemental draft if it's proven that he has nothing to do with the situation. Seems like a fair compromise. A team still has to give up a pick to get him and he gets his slotted money. More facts still do need to come out in this case.

Pretty much, the draft was OK not a lot of picks to work with. In round 2 we picked a long term depth need and took what some felt was the best player available. In round 3 we went with need, not sure if he will have a impact this year but it puts a player with potential in the mix at Guard. No 4th rounder and the rest of the picks were what you expect from later round picks mostly players that are developmental.

One of the best "value" picks, good talent to get at this spot.

Once McKelvin got with Pettin and that defensive coaching staff he started to really turn things around. They simplified the game for him and played to his man to man coverage strengths. Good coaching goes a long way towards player development.

Weird pick, not much to say as I have no idea where he fits on the roster.

Solid pick, solid value at a position of need. I am not sure he will be a starter but he should provide good depth and a good option. I would love for the team to take a chance on Collins with one of their last picks. Collins plus Miller would be a nice additions to the O-line and would push a lot of guys on the roster. But if Collins is falling this far clearly teams know a lot more about the situation.

Rex Loves his corners and considering McKelvin and Graham are a bit older it makes sense he goes with a corner that is the best player available. They also went O-line round 3 which was a solid choice as it provides depth. I would love to see the Bills take a flyer on Collins later in the draft. They could get a first round talent with a late round pick, considering it's a position of need I wouldn't mind taking on the risk.

Big thing that hits his trade value is the fact that he is seeking a huge contract. So you would be giving up a draft pick and a significant contract. Wilkerson will be 26 and has produced tremendously but any team trading for him will have to give him a big contract as opposed to drafting a player who will be cheap for the next 4-5 years. I see a 2nd rounder and maybe a mid round pick as the best deal the Jets can get. Also I would love to trade pick 50 for him but no way the Bills are able to hand out another huge contract on the D-line. I also doubt the Jets would want to trade him within the division. Basically the Jets either have to pay the man or trade him and his trade value should bring a good return but it is a little limited due to his contract demand.

I don't think anyone is going to give a first round pick for Wilkerson unless it's a very late pick. But I think I could see the Browns trading their second round pick (A fairly high second rounder at pick 43) and maybe a 6th or 7th. Wilkerson's contract is coming up soon so I can't see the Browns giving up one of their first rounders. A high second for a good young player who will be commanding a big contract seems more than fair. The Jets get a good pick that they can use to find a contributor while the Browns fill one of their defensive needs with a proven player.

Make sense if a player like Jackson or McKelvin or Lawson are getting out played in camp by a cheaper rookie they might need to make a cut there. I think the Bills could still make one or two smaller moves and plug in the draft picks and be right at the cap. So there isn't a need to get under the cap right now. Maybe next year players in the middle might have to take cuts as Dareus, Bradham, and possibly Glenn take bigger deals. Chris Williams, Lawson, and Jackson will all likely be cut or retire come next season as there isn't much other fat you could cut on the roster currently.

Watkins and Shady are legit star players. Woods is a potential really good WR, Harvin is a good offensive weapon but has issues staying healthy, Clay is a legit tight end but not quite a top 5 player at his position. I really do like the top 5 offensive weapons but lets see how this team come together. Look at the Eagles a few years ago. They had DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, Shady, Brent Celek, and Riley Cooper. Of course Maclin got hurt out the gate but still they had loaded offensive rosters. The Falcons had a lot of great players on offense 1 to 5. The Colts in the middle of the Manning era (Which holy **** was 10 years ago had staked offensive rosters. I like the Bills talents on offense but let's not get carried away.

No I wouldn't bring in Jennings. The team has Watkins, Woods, Harvin, Hogan, and Goodwin. Hogan is a decent young backup slot receiver, Woods Watkins, and Harvin are the starting 3 while Goodwin gets a chance to make the roster. Easley is a ST ace and the 6th man. Basically if the team feels the need to push Hogan and Goodwin I would rather they go with a young receiver in the late rounds.

The Bills do need depth at MLB, I am hoping that once May 12th passes they can sign up Spikes and still get a comp pick. Also signing Landry to add depth to the back end of the secondary wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Chandler was on the verge of being out of the league when the Bills not only signed him but gave him a chance to be the starter. Chandler did a solid job while here. I really wish the team would have kept him as insurance for Clay and to run 2 TE sets, his cap his was reasonable and I am sure you could have found the cuts along the roster to squeeze everyone in. So it's not surprising a guy who was a 4th round pick sitting the bench and being released by the Chargers, bouncing around 2 teams practice squads is super grateful and thankful to an organization that got him an NFL career.
