  1. Fitz has been what he was, a mediocre QB. The Texans defense and ground game is pretty good, so maybe they just want to spark the team with Mallet. A bye week is always optimal to bring a major change. 4-5 they need to turn things around quick if they want to make a run at the playoffs, QB play has been subpar so why not make the change?
  2. Pats* beating Denver that badly was shocking but I still think Denver is the better team. Gronk is due for an injury and Peyton just played a bad game. Bills at home being an underdog is weird who cares just win.
  3. The Steelers beat the Ravens and the AFC North is going to produce a lot of wildcard competition so it didn't really matter who won that game. Browns, Pats*, and Fins winning hurt. But the way I see it is we play the Chiefs, Fins, and Browns. We win those games it makes the path to the wildcard much easier. To be the man you gotta beat the man.
  4. Lets not get ahead of ourselves. Lets just hope Sammy can be an AJ Green/Dez Bryant type receiver where he has a presence in every game and has to be accounted for.
  5. Mario was looked at as a bust his rookie year. Its not always instant. If he wants the big dollars he is going to play hard and try to produce.
  6. I would say Sammy. If Orton gets hurt EJ could step in, not sure if Mike Williams and Robert Woods would really be able to step up in the absence of Sammy.
  7. The O-line is pretty weak at guard. But Orton holding onto the ball might be inflating sack totals. Granted he is getting pressured and knocked around, but Orton isn't that mobile and he likes to hold onto the ball. Those things all are going to lead to sacks. But I am hoping that Urbik helps the LG position going forward and maybe at RG we can get Cyrus to help out. Once Urbik and Cyrus get their chance there, there really isn't anything else on the roster they can go to.
  8. Orton is OK, might have to stick with him for a couple of seasons unless they go back to EJ. If you go with Orton you better pony up big money for Dareus and Huges as you are going to need to have a dam good defense.
  9. Bills defense matches up well against them (Able to stop the run). The Bills offense on the other hand doesn't matchup well against their defense. Overall its a weird match-up. Should be a defensive struggle where the team that turns it over least will win. I like the Bills chances but its not a slam dunk.
  10. The Internet She isn't that big of star, country music is surprisingly popular in this area (I am sure it much more popular elsewhere). Its got enough of a following around here to where if she was actually a big deal people would give a !@#$ about here.
  11. The last drive or two of a blowout yeah he should get the snaps. But I guess getting Orton who has only been with the team a couple of months some snaps still has some purpose.
  12. I think you could survive Searcy and Spikes. Dareus will be franchised. So Hughes is the big time guy you would need to work on an extension.
  13. Even if you have to shell out 25 million for Dareus and Hughes its worth it. Mario and Kyle are older players their big contracts will either be restructured or off the books in the next year or two. Keep the young guys there and use the dead money to cover you on the cap to cover the costs and in order to upgrade other positions of need (Guard, Tightend, WR, and corner) find the money with cuts to other guys on the roster and draft choices (Mike Williams would be a good place to start).
  14. Mike Williams has zero guaranteed money due to him next year. So in the likely even Williams gets cut (Only way he stays on the team is if he takes a restructured deal which I don't think he will do and I don't think the team wants him anyway) the team will clear his full salary with no cap penalty. Not sure about Stevie but I thought that his bonus was tied up in this year.
  15. I think Dareus is just a notch below. Probably get on the low end 9 million a year and on the high end 12 million a year. Also get a good chunk guaranteed. Hughes will likely get 6-8 million a year too. The front office should use the dead money that Fitz and Mark Anderson are taking up this year to take care of those guys. Maybe Mario restructures his deal (Probably won't take less money but maybe he just makes his deal more cap friendly) to give the Bills some more cap room
  16. Spikes might not get resigned, although if he was willing to be a running down specialist I could see him coming back for a modest amount. So Brown and Brandham stay in their roles while Kiko takes the other OLB spot. As hard as it would be to let Spikes go I would think getting Dareus a long term extension along with resigning Hughes would be cap money better spent. Kiko if he can stay healthy would be a big addition to the defense next year.
  17. No need to, got another year under contract. Don't need to make another Fitz mistake.
  18. Its inherently subjective is the reason they give for it not being able to use a challenge on a penalty.
  19. Hopefully he can provide some competent guard play at LG. Pears is very mediocre but at least he seems to be an on field coach for Henderson. Hopefully Cyrus can try and take on RG later in the year as he gets some more time practicing at guard. Even if Urbik could just be what he was a couple of years ago that would be a huge upgrade.
  20. Wounder how much better this defense would be if Kiko was out there? But then again injuries do happen and this team has been fairly healthy over the course of the year. So a major injury to a starter is always likely to happen.
  21. CJ hasn't produced on the field but he seems to have always been a true professional in his tenure here. The guy just goes out there and does his job, doesn't seem to have too much of an ego.
  22. The game was on Thursday that kid of puts enough of a question mark on the game to discount it as a referendum on either team.
  23. Brown and Dixon should be interesting to see. Freddie out 4 weeks and Spiller out those guys should be hungry to get the opportunity. Probably going to try and put in a claim on Brown in fantasy.
  24. If you could get the guy for a 6th or 7th I would take it. For a 5th maybe but not higher than that. Spiller is likely gone next year, Freddie is old and toss on an injury now. Brown and Stacy could make a really good backfield next year and beyond.
  25. The moment that Henderson established himself at RT they should have tried to move Cujo to guard. Its probably going to take some time to get him to get use to playing there and the playbook. But the team needs much better guard play and he has the phsyical size to maybe be at least decent there. From week 1 it was pretty obvious the team was weak at guard. So when you have a guy who is a phsyical specimin who has gotten benched at RT you need to try and get that guy at guard.
