  1. Welcome to the insanity...you like this link
  2. Well, aparently you have no Idea what being a true fan is about...jump ship and go cheer for Green Bay, why don't you. Was this season disappointing? So far, a little. A lot less if we're better than .500, which 3 of the 6 losses can be placed squarely on the shoulders of George Edwards. His inability to put together a defensive scheme against Cinci (rookie QB, coming off a game in which he was sacked 5 times and picked twice), the Giants (EVERYONE KNOWS that if you pressure Eli Manning he makes mistakes) & the most recent heartbreaker (UMMMM...Sanchez is not a good QB, and again, it is widely known he folds under pressure). Back to the matter at hand...I'm not disappointed and I'm not content with losing, but the disaster of bad coaching, scouting and drafting that has desimated this franchise for the last decade came to an end last year. Being in year two of a true rebuilding mode, this team has made some strides in improving. Yes, we've had a couple set backs but this last game proved, to me, that we're down but not out. I BILLIEVE we finish strong, probably miss the playoffs, but it's simply reality that the team is one or two key players (on each side of the ball) and another year from being a true contender rather than the cinderella story the team was at he beginning of the season.
  3. We saw some glimpses of this kid in camp and pre season...looked really good!! Here is some scouting reports I found: Smooth athlete with good size who can turn and run on defense. Has above average hands and can make plays offensively. Plays for a talent-laden high school program and should be able to fit in nicely on either side of the ball at the college level. Looks every bit the part with a rocked-up, shredded physique (broke Brandon Marshall’s strength records). Good body control. Plays big — attacks the ball and works the middle of the field. Exceptional leaping ability. Strong on contact and can rip through tackles. Physical blocker. Explosive receiver who stretches the field and can take it the distance. Quickly releases off the line, displays a burst of speed, and can turn it on in a single step. Sells all his moves, adjusts to the errant throw, and looks the ball into his hands. Possesses effective eye/hand coordination. Plays with body control, makes difficult over-the-shoulder catches. Consistently gets downfield behind defenders and plays faster than his forty time. Gets vertical and fights to make the difficult catch. Elusive, gets separation from defenders, and uses his frame to shield away opponents. Quickly gets into breaks and runs sharp routes. I particularly like the comments about getting separation and being physical/strong. Leads me to believe he'll be able to fight the jam and get off the line. I liked the kid in preseason and am a fan. He may turn out to be our most physical WR...let's wait and see...
  4. Yeah...reminded me of a guy named Bruce. Not comparing the two, just on that play....bull rush, pushed the blocker out of the way with one hand and smacked Dirty right in themouth! I let a big "YES!!" out and woke up my daughter!
  5. Now all we have to do is prove them right!! GO BILLS!
  6. Kelvin Sheppard would greatly benefit from him...Your description of Talley is exactly was said about Shepp @ LSU.
  7. To me, an old schooler, though not all that old...simple fix is to become a run first team. Bottom line is that we get the ball into Freddy J's hands a lot more, spell him with a change of pace back, Spiller, and open up the pass...Really, am I missing something? Oh, and FIRE George Edwards! Anoth poster on another thread put it best..."it doesn't work, it hasn't worked, and it will never work." His schemes are terrible and god only knows why he refuses to blitz and rush more than 3 or 4 guys.
  8. not to mention the flaming I took for this post: Not as far... I'm not saying playoffs or bust either. I like the progress I've seen this year and I believe anothe off season and the addition of 1 or 2 key guys makes the future very bright...to me anyway.
  9. Bills finish 10-6 @ dal - W @ Mia - W @ nyj - W Ten - L @sdg - L Mia - W Den - L @NE - W Jets finish 9-7 NE - L @den - W Buf - L @was - W Kan - W @phi - L Nyg - L @Mia - W Pats finish 11-5 @nyj - W Kan - W @phi - L Ind - W @was - W @den - W Mia - W Buf - L FINGERS ARE CROSSED!
  10. Yeah...adding Fewell to the fire would drastically improve this team....what a horrible defensive game plan yesterday!! I've said it before, Edwards needs to go...NOW! God, it couldn't be more obvious what needed to be done yesterday! Get pressure on Dirty and he makes mistakes, BIG mistakes! Even nominal pressur in his face and he throws the ball right to Byrd! Other times throughout the game, when we rushed more than 4, Sanchez was antsy and got rid f the ball too quickly and the ball was in the dirt, overthrown, or behind his receiver! Then, to my astonishment, we bail on bringing 5 or 6...we rush 4 the rest of the game against a pretty damn good O Line. I thought it couldn't et worse than the Giants game!!
  11. Not writing an essay for english class...just having a little fun!
  12. Pardon my exaggeration of the consternation felt in my relationship with this organization! I'm the number 1 fan with the winning plan all along billieving in Chan. With Fitzpatrick's magic leading the way to number 2 of a natural hat trick (winning the first meetings against ur division opponents, sorry for the hockey term). With SJ13's "why so serious," and Fred Ex's delivery so glorious and a man named Dareus, I sit on the edge of my seat yelling and screaming, jumping to my feet anticipating the grounding of a NY Jets fleet. On comes Barnett, Shep & Byrd to spread the word of a defense yet to be heard. Circling the wagons with the Shwami around a wanna be dictator commy fat boy Ryan tryn' to figure out why Sanchez is cryn'. Oh wait, something about a teenage dream love her and leave her and his old homey Smith carvn’ up the d with the wild cat and a Bobbit style meat cleaver. Sorry Dirty, we gotta end your teenage dream with Chandler up the seem, breakn’ records and a same day Fred Ex dippnn', divin', duckn' & dodgn' the lame gang green machine like checkers. Wait a minute, it gets worse with the pass rushing phenom Aaron...Maybe not, that fool's about to get got when "The Beast" named Corey stuffs his weak ass sack attack and never hesitates to put a punk on his back. All day, every day behind a line with Wood in the middle bustn' open a whole on 3rd and nine screen that goes for a dub, havin’ time to stop for a drink in the Van Miller club. Sanchez with another six pics, relax Plax your time will come if you can get off the sideline after knuckle bustn' ur fanny hole two deep with Rex's thumb. How 'bout dem "Bad News" Bills with the skills to shove those little jagged pills down the throats of some fools that forgot about Moats. All said and done, Sunday afternoon when the Bills have won under a rare November sun, I am the number one fan with a winning plan all along BILLIEVING in that undrafted, late round, practice squad but Ivy League clan!
  13. Rex: Fat Vampire: Or:
  14. Actually, I laughed harder at the Nick Folk/Sinead O'Connor comparison than any of those on the Jets board.
  15. As if I needed any more reasons to hate the "Prop" Jets! This kind of ego maniacal shyte rattles my bones!! I billive it will backfire in fat boys face & fire 'dem Bills right on up! One mans trash is another mans treasure, until we go toe to toe and show you why, exactly, he was our trash! Nelson too, for that matter...let McGee lay another stick on some one and let it be Nelson....send him to the locker room with a headache!
  16. Had to go check it out....don't bother! Jen's been knocked off her soap box and sent back to the minors....writing about parenting! Not even a sentence about sports has come from her since the "story heard around the world...of Bills nation!" In fact, the only articles published in the Times Union that mention her and football are a couple blasting her for her b.s. article.
  17. IDK Brother...seems as if Flacco finally figured out how good Boldin really is. Should be interesting to see what they can do now with the speedy rookie and Boldin.
  18. Go tell it on the Mountain...Amen!
  19. like "Cheddar Bob" from "8 Mile?" Dislike...doesn't seem like a half witt to me...I like Scott "i tied the single season TD record for TE's in 7 games" Chandler.
  20. Seriously??? Stupid Puddle Jumper fans...never happy...I, for one, would take Keller all day long. The guy's a stud! Seriously, who catches 7 balls for 80 yrds and a TD one week, and isn't even targeted the next...at all!!
  21. I really don't think these guys "crave the lime light," nor are they "yearning for attention," other than that, I love the article!
  22. I had fun with this, but it got lost in a response to another post that went cold... Here we go... Redskins @ "home:" Probably more Skins fans show up than Bills, but they've come back down to earth after a fast start and Shannahan's indecisiveness @ RB & QB breaks the back of the team this year. I'm willing to be they fall apart. I'm looking for this to be the first time we actually put on a show for our Canadien friends...Bills win 34-13. had no idea the D would show up like that, Skins or not... Jets @ home...back at the Ralph, feeling electrified! Not counting on a big day from Fitz, but good enough cause the "Prop" Jets can't stop Freddy...he has the seasons best performance, 300+ total yards from scrimmage. Bills win 26-20. Off to Dallas...tough, tough game but Romo is do for another choke job and we're lucky enough to be playing them this week. Close game to the end when Dallas is driving for the go ahead TD & win when McKelvin gets a pick six in the last 2 minutes to seal the deal. Bills win 45-35. In Miami bi**...we roll them & Sparano gets fired b4 the game is over...could be our only shut out this year (or not)....Bills win 31-0 in NJ, again...Jets put together a couple wins and host our boys with their heads swollen and ego's blaring out of control. We give them a big sh*t burger and win a little more decisive this time, Bills win 28-10. Titans come to Buffalo...no Music City Miracle this time....cuz they won't need it. Bills lay an egg similar to the Cinci game and Johnson picks a hell of a week to return to last years form...rushes for 200+ & 4 TD's....ouch, we lose 34-17. Now off to So Cal...exact same game as the Giants. Edwards, if he lasts this long, goes into his shell and hides behind the water cooler...lose 24-21. *here comes the Bills Bashers..."same old Bills," "I knew they weren't for real," "Man we have a couple more years to go still..." Back home, comming off a 2 game losing streak...way to close for comfort, but we get the Job done...after all it is the Dolphins so, win 17-9. Bronco's come to town, but we feel as if we were in Cinci, week 4. Clearly a game we should win, but fail to pull the trigger in key situations. We lose another game we should have won 24-13. *even more bashing begins..."we barely beat Miami, then we lose to the friggn' Broncos..." In Foxburough...game gets flexed to Prime time...Bills & Pats going for the divisional sweep...playoff implications for the Bills...correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think we'ver ever won a game in this stadium. Pats are hot and it's Bellychick, so no resting the starters....ok, enough suspense....it's a fire fight...Brady loks like a football God, but we figure out the Welker problem...Kelvin Sheppard comes on an inside blitz and hammers Brady early in the 4th....knocks him out of the game with a concussion...it's a clean hit, but it's Brady, so we get a flag somehow and it pushes *NE into field goal range to go up 10...it's Blocked...It's blocked...Scott picks it out of the air and takes it to the house. Tie game...Brady's back up, whoever it is can't do anything and we start plugging up the run...back and forth for a few drives, but no points, *NE D seems to figure the Bills out too. Whoever is Brady's back up puts together a nice series and gets them into field goal range...it's blocked...only kdding...Pats go up 38-35 with 2:41 left to go and we have 1 T.O and the 2 min warning...long story short, Freddy breaks a big screen, we get help on a Def Pass Int call in the redzone, bills score and WIN 42-38....Bills nation goes bananas and we head to the Playoffs @ 11-5. * "I knew it...," "I billieved all along...," "CHAMPIONSHIP!!"
  23. Pretty sure we have a really good receiving tight end right now...
  24. We will learn exactly how to beat the Puddle Jumpers on Sunday! Gailey...take us to school!
  25. Luv C Mac!! & the mouth guard suits him well...BEAST!
