Ditto...saw the play live, maybin shed a cut block by a RB...by shed, I mean he didn't fall over top of the guy; however, 9 out of 10 times, the block would have been good enough. That was a coverage sack in which Rivers held the ball longer than he needed to an Maybin chased him down...It wasn't a very impressive play, at all.

Here we go... Redskins @ "home:" Probably more Skins fans show up than Bills, but they've come back down to earth after a fast start and Shannahan's indecisiveness @ RB & QB breaks the back of the team this year. I'm willing to be they fall apart. I'm looking for this to be the first time we actually put on a show for our Canadien friends...Bills win 34-13. Jets @ home...back at the Ralph, feeling electrified! Not counting on a big day from Fitz, but good enough cause the "Prop" Jets can't stop Freddy...he has the seasons best performance, 300+ total yards from scrimmage. Bills win 26-20. Off to Dallas...tough, tough game but Romo is do for another choke job and we're lucky enough to be playing them this week. Close game to the end when Dallas is driving for the go ahead TD & win when McKelvin gets a pick six in the last 2 minutes to seal the deal. Bills win 45-35. In Miami bi**...we roll them & Sparano gets fired b4 the game is over...could be our only shut out this year....Bills win 31-0 in NJ, again...Jets put together a couple wins and host our boys with their heads swollen and ego's blaring out of control. We give them a big sh*t burger and win a little more decisive this time, Bills win 28-10. Titans come to Buffalo...no Music City Miracle this time....cuz they won't need it. Bills lay an egg similar to the Cinci game and Johnson picks a hell of a week to return to last years form...rushes for 200+ & 4 TD's....ouch, we lose 34-17. Now off to So Cal...exact same game as the Giants. Edwards, if he lasts this long, goes into his shell and hides behind the water cooler...lose 24-21. *here comes the Bills Bashers..."same old Bills," "I knew they weren't for real," "Man we have a couple more years to go still..." Back home, comming off a 2 game losing streak...way to close for comfort, but we get the Job done...after all it is the Dolphins so, win 17-9. Bronco's come to town, but we feel as if we were in Cinci, week 4. Clearly a game we should win, but fail to pull the trigger in key situations. We lose another game we should have won 24-13. *even more bashing begins..."we barely beat Miami, then we lose to the friggn' Broncos..." In Foxburough...game gets flexed to Prime time...Bills & Pats going for the divisional sweep...playoff implications for the Bills...correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think we'ver ever won a game in this stadium. Pats are hot and it's Bellychick, so no resting the starters....ok, enough suspense....it's a fire fight...Brady loks like a football God, but we figure out the Welker problem...Kelvin Sheppard comes on an inside blitz and hammers Brady early in the 4th....knocks him out of the game with a concussion...it's a clean hit, but it's Brady, so we get a flag somehow and it pushes *NE into field goal range to go up 10...it's Blocked...It's blocked...Scott picks it out of the air and takes it to the house. Tie game...Brady's back up, whoever it is can't do anything and we start plugging up the run...back and forth for a few drives, but no points, *NE D seems to figure the Bills out too. Whoever is Brady's back up puts together a nice series and gets them into field goal range...it's blocked...only kdding...Pats go up 38-35 with 2:41 left to go and we have 1 T.O and the 2 min warning...long story short, Freddy breaks a big screen, we get help on a Def Pass Int call in the redzone, bills score and WIN 42-38....Bills nation goes bananas and we head to the Playoffs @ 11-5. * "I knew it...," "I billieved all along...," "CHAMPIONSHIP!!"

That's a good BINGO!! I billieve we have the talent on the defensive side of the ball...now, all we need is an above average coordinator to get them in the right scheme/situation.

Agreed to a point, but this ain't "Waterboy," these kids had some serious, undiscovered talent and were given a shot...which speaks to my original point perfectly. I billieve Aiken will turn into a GREAT WR, based on what I've seen of him, the kid looked like a vet out there. Take it with a grain of salt regarding the level of talent he was playing against, but to your point, I'll give Gailey the benefit of the doubt on ALL decisions, maybe this kids a year away, but all he needs is his "shot."

Last I cecked, football is a team sport. Albeit opportunistic, our defense came up BIG when needed....screw opportunistic, I'll chalk it up to being in the right place, in the right time with pressure & coverage. Your arguements are about as strong as your screen name...dousche!

Didn't see this post...I thought I was the only one when I started one today about Kamar...here's the text from mine: I've seen enough of Martin (was targeted on Fitzy's int Sunday & fell down). sure he makes a play here and there on ST, but I'm willing to bet there would be little fall off with Aiken. Martin has bounced around and hasn't stuck anywhere & Aiken is a young (UDFA siging) sitting on our practice squad? The kid's about 6'1" and around 215....pretty good size! He ran a 4.45 @ UCF's proday and in the preseason performed really well...something like 5 catches for 100 yds, and I think all of those cathes were for 1st downs...He looked to run crisp routes and was able to get good seperation...I'm not sure what the eligibility rules are with retaining the ability to PS him next year IF we activate him for a couple games while Nelson heals up...Anyone?

Through the first couple weeks in the season, it was made known that Vick can't handle the blitz...seems as though this should be an easy week for defensive game planning....as was last week...FAIL...I just hope Edwards pulls his head out of his arse and takes the handcuffs off of our D.

A lot of people, going into Cinci, were all "this is the real test," in regards to seeing how the Bills perform comming off a huge win and emotional igh...I call B.S. I think the real test is this week! Lets see how/if they bounce back.

3 out of 4 weeks we had relatively easy offenses to game plan for...this week being the easiest! Let's see...the strength of Cinci's offense is Benson, considering they have a rookie QB and the only WR that's any good is also a rookie. Said rookie QB is comming off a week where he was sacked 5 times and threw 2 picks...How hard is it George? Put 8 guys in the box to stuff Benson and force the Ginger to throw....mix in some blitz packages and put pressure on the rook...boom, game over! We saw, with little pressure, the kid throw some baad balls, 2 int's, and he didn't exactly protect the ball well...tuck!? I think Chan will give him until the bye to get things sured up, but if teams continue to put up the god awefull #'s they have thus far, Edwards may not just get demoted, he may get ran out of here. I completely disagree, by the way...Personally, I give him this week to show major improvement in his ability to call a D, and the next week to see if he can take it to the next level. If the Iggles put up #'s relative to these past few weeks, I pull the plug on Edwards and insert the Stache!

In years past I would completely agree; however, this is a different group of guys with zero ego, a hard work ethic and a HUGE chip on their shoulder. I think they come out this week with even more to prove and it has the makings of a great game.

Alright, brother...well written & hard to argue any of your points. Stats are stats, but the only important ones to me are points for and points against. Those are, IMHO, the truest testament to ranking a teams O & D. I would have given a more relative comparison of O vs. D for each team, as well as how the D's faired against the opposing O's. Example: For being less known than the Bills' unit, Cinci's O is not as bad as they appear. They're averaging something like 19.5 PPG against the # 4, 14 & 15 ranked Defenses (according to the PA logic above). Conversely, the Bills are averaging, as you stated, 37.7 PPG, but using the same D ranking logic, it's against the # 27, 28 & 32 (LAST) ranked D's. To your point about Cinci's D....They're WAY overrated...flip the script on my rankings logic and they're holding the opposing offenses, ranked 16, 23 & 12 respectively, to 18 PPG. We're only giving up 6 more PPG against the 32, 6, & 2nd ranked O's. Cinci's point differential is +1 while the Bills' is +13. Here's MY key to this game: Take the effing leash off of the D!! Call some stinkn' blitzes and get after the "Red Rifle," as if he's done anything to garner such a nick-name...I'll stick with "Ginger Pop Gun," until otherwise proven wrong. Also, don't be afraid to stir up some controversy...Like, if Edwards doesn't get his sh*t together, he needs to get fired!! I don't care if we're winning! A professional organization should ALWAYS being looking to improve and the defensive scheme this team has been running S U C K S! There, I feel better!
