Ok, so he didn't say that. -
Does Alex Smith Lead The Bills To Victory Today?
Magox replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes. -
I think ideally for him, it would be best if he went to a team that has a QB that can throw (Goff can) but where he would also be the undisputed #1 choice (at least that he would perceive himself to be and to which he isn't with the Rams). I don't think the Rams are a fit for him. Clearly he didn't win over the confidence of Goff or he would have been targeted more, right? If he were smart (which he isn't) money should be his secondary concern for 2018 and go to wherever he could get the most targets on a 1-2 year prove-it deal loaded with incentives. Then look to get PAID in 2019 or 2020. I'm not sure he's mentally got it in him to make it happen, but if he has extreme confidence in himself, that would be the best solution..

What are your Options to upgrade No1 and No2 need

There is another thread almost identical to this. -
You guys are fooling yourself if you think Alex Smith gets traded for anything less than a 2nd rounder.

I hope someone from the media asks McDermott why...

I have an awfully hard time faulting the defense for just about anything this game. They shut down the run and pass and allowed only 10 points. They were lights out today, this loss falls squarely on the offense. -
About as well as anyone could reasonably expect with all the deficiencies from a talent perspective this team has. This off season we will get our QB and revamp our front 7.

I think we do need to move from TT. He was the leader of this offense but he's not good enough. I'm thankful that he helped us get to the playoffs but it's time to move on.

Wildcard Weekend: Bills at Jax - 2nd Half Thread

Screw Riveron. The guy called everything against us all year. Defense played very well. Our passing game stunk. It's such a waste to have a talent like Benjamin collecting dust. -
Marcell Dareus Training Hard for Bills Game
Magox replied to Jamie Nails's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If it was in a vacuum it wouldn't be a big deal, but it's not. He has had all sorts of issues dealing with immaturity and not being a completely committed football player and this is yet another piece that appears to fit that puzzle. And for those of you making the comparisons of other great players or teams that partied alot and still played at a high level. Yeah, there were plenty. The difference is those guys continued to play at a high level whereas Dareus has dramaically dropped off. If I was a coach I would want my players having their heads on right and completely focused on their big franchise playoff game. This is Dareus' first ever playoff game and this is where he is 2 days before the game? I don't know, he may wreck us Sunday, but I don't believe he will ever become the player that he used to be. And I attribute it to his lack of focus and commitment. -

Remember how there use to be some posters who would make those Sammy/Julio comparisons? Thank God we don't have to keep hearing that bull **** again. -
I always believed that we ended up getting the better end of that trade and that time would eventually prove that to be the case. I think the Rams will offer him around $7m guaranteed with incentives that could push it to $10m

That Beane/McD trade is looking better every day. Some posters on this board are eating a lot of crow with all the whining and complaining. It is indisputable that Gaines has been a much more valuable player for us than Sammy was with the Rams AND we get a 2nd rounder along with cap savings. I'm glad we got men leading this organization who have the guts to stick with their convictions no matter how unpopular it may be. And it makes it alot sweeter when they turn out to be right. -

He along with his agent have a tough decision to make. He had a very disappointing year and it's almost a certainty that he won't be offered a big multi year contract as he had hoped to get. His best bet is a one year prove-it deal loaded with incentives. I just wonder if he stays with the Rams where he struggled or he starts all over with his 3rd team in his first 5 years. He just hasn't lived up to expectations. -
Draft picks from the previous regime. Those aren't their guys and they didn't value them as high as other teams. With that said, what is abundantly clear is that we need continuity and competency with our front office, and that will solve the "wasted picks" mess over the years.

I'm thinking 5 year $43 Million with $22 Guaranteed.

Lamar Jackson Declares for the 2018 NFL Draft

What are you talking about? They are both mobile as hell and they both aren't traditional pocket QB's. They both also have strong arms and aren't known to be great anticipation throwers. Plenty of similarities, you simply are trying to make this something that it's not.
