If I could recommend something; try not to take things such to heart. Develop thicker skin for the message boards. With that said, I'm willing to give what you say a hear and what you say is definitely intriguing. you have to understand that you just can't expect to have cred without some of these things coming to fruition. Some posters have gained cred because of their sources and they didn't gain that cred until some of the things had happened. I hope you keep sharing info and we'll see how they turn out.

Will Trump Fire Mueller?

No. There is no need for him to do so, there is nothing there. This whole thing is a big nothing burger. -

Remember during the Obama era when it used to be so great to watch MSNBC in full meltdown mode election after election? Watching the FOX news evening Nationalist lineup is going to be epic! -
Sex Allegations Against Roy Moore Send Republicans Reeling

I don't think I've ever been this happy to see a Democrat ahead in a race than I am right now. !@#$ Moore and Steve Bannon. -
I think some team could value him as high as a 4th.

I had read that we have a lousy GM, that we traded away all our talent and the vast majority of analysts and fans thought we were going to top out at 6 wins. Yet we still have a winning record in mid December. What's weird is that despite all this, I keep hearing that we have a very mediocre coach. I'm confused. I guess we have just been lucky this year.

Considering the lack of talent on this team, he's got the team headed in the right direction. Next year they'll add a lot of new pieces to the team, much more so in his vision of how a team should look like.

DC Frazier Announces Matt Milano as Starting WLB
Magox replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've been saying for a while now, the makeup of this team specially on defense is going to look a whole lot different than it does right now, specifically the front 7. I see at least 2 new DT's next year, 3 new LB's and a DE. At least 4 of them being starters. -
Yes, whatever you want to call it. Bottom line is that McD made a calculation and it ended up being correct.
-
You call it the Football Gods, he believed his defense would get the stop and that we would drive far enough to get the win. His calculation ended up being correct.

Zay does struggle to get separation against top tiered DB's. I'm hoping route running can help with that, but more than anything I'm hoping he becomes the slot receiver and we end up drafting or picking up a true #2 to go along with him and Benjamin.

DC Frazier Announces Matt Milano as Starting WLB

He wasn't the architect, I didn't even come close to suggesting he was. But he was the main decision maker. -
Well..... At least, most of you.

Whaley and the scouts underneath him did the vast majority of the scouting and they set the board based on McD's needs and wants for a football team. Whaley set the table, McD pulled the trigger. Anyone who believes that Whaley was the main decision maker simply isn't thinking this out too well. -
That's a tough one because Tre is turning out to be a stud and we'll have another first rounder to go along with him. On the other hand, look what Watson did this year. Holy crap! Looks like a legitimate franchise QB.

Carson Wentz has a torn ACL; out for the year
Magox replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's too bad. I don't say that with any sarcasm, just that I feel bad for him and the fans of Philly who had hopes of going to the SuperBowl this year. -

12-11: McDermott and Coordinator Pressers
Magox replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They wanted to pin them down inside their 15 on the punt, planned on stopping them to get the ball back, drive down to hopefully score and win. And the fact that it did indeed work out just the way they had hoped was not part of their decision?? -
I could see it go either way. It's a tough decision for McD, but that's what they are there for to make the tough decisions. Tyrod will protect the ball better and make more plays with his legs. Peterman is more prone to make mistakes. However Peterman will make more throws than Tyrod. I'm guessing Tyrod probably gives you a little better chance to win if the defense plays well.
-
In regards to Peterman, I'm just not sure who gives us a better chance to win. Tyrod will protect the ball better and make more plays with his legs but when teams drop back in coverage at times he seems to freeze and we become totally inept throwing the ball. Peterman is much more prone to make mistakes but on the other hand he will make passes that Tyrod either doesn't see or won't attempt to make. Honestly, I'd rather go with Peterman just to see what we have there, if he's a keeper or just a JAG of a backup QB. Milano looked good to me, he may have had a mistake or two but who doesn't? He was solid. The 4th and 1 call. My father and I were at Buffalo Wild wings watching the game and my dad was wanting us to go for it and I was wanting to punt it. My thought was to pin them deep, stop them and get the ball back in good field position. Clearly that was McD's calculation as well. Anyone can go back and say we were lucky for this reason or another but the bottom line was we did pin them at their 9 yard line, they got one first down I believe and we got the ball back like they had hoped, were able to move the football field down the field like they hoped and win the game like they hoped. No matter how you slice it and dice it, it turned out to be a decision that worked the way they had hoped.

Peterman - Bad Passes vs. Catchable Passes
Magox replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He looked pretty good. Most of his passes hit the receivers in the hands, the pass to clay was a little high and a little behind. The two passes to Benjamin were beautiful and just the kind of passes you'd hope our QB's would throw to him. Allow your true physical #1 to go up and get after it. I hope he comes out of concussion protocol soon and starts next week for us.
