  1. I think it's clear that McD/Beane want to move on from TT, at least from my perspective. If it were calling the shots, I would say that the jury is still out. If this team could win out and make it to the playoffs then I believe you retain TT another year while drafting another QB. If we win one more and miss the playoffs, then I think you drop him and let Peterman and the QB you draft duke it out for the starting QB next year or you pick up a quality FA QB like Cousins. If you win one and lose one and make the playoffs, I think you have to then evaluate his playoff game as a pretty big determinant as to what happens to his future as a Bill.
  2. This has and is TT's offense. Peterman should have never have started vs the Chargers even though I must admit I was intrigued to see how he'd do. I think that is something that McD wish he could have taken back and from my perspective one of his few meaningful mistakes he's made. That aside, TT has earned the right to be and remain the leader of this offense and we should either succeed or go down in flames with him this year. Next year, is another story.
  3. McD/Beane value Shady and as long as he's producing, he will remain a Bill. He's staying through 2019, barring injuries.
  4. The Bills should come out throwing similar to like they did this past game. Throw the ball and throw it often, they have to switch it up. Double team Gronk, let White single cover Cooks and the defensive front seven has to limit the yards on the ground.
  5. He's earned a $7M a year contract. The defense definitely is a lot better with him in it. Regardless of what happens, they need more depth at DB, so I do hope they do draft a DB that is capable of being a meaningful contributor. There you have it. Not sure if I value him at 9.7, but he's definitely $7m plus.
  6. Terrible take!
  7. Stop presenting facts. I hate that. Exactly! I'm surprised that some posters were not aware of this. On the other hand, considering the penchant to quickly and constantly criticize this coaching and managerial staff does not make it all that surprising. It's a silly critique.
  8. All these comments about how the Bills were lucky because we got "bad" Cutler vs "good" Cutler are amateurish at best. Conditions on the ground, such as coverage, scheme, pressure, different looks and etc from the defense cause QB's to play poorly. Jay Cutler has been a very good QB when the Dolphins have run play action and a below average QB when he hasn't been throwing from that design. Early on they ran the ball well on the Bills Defense and he was getting some passes off. The defense held tough once they got in scoring position and we were able to come away with only giving up 6 points. The biggest reason why Cutler played poorly was because of the way the offense got going and how our defense began to shutdown their run game after those first few drives. The combination of the two took away Cutler's play action, which forced him to make many third and long passes which went away from what was his strength this year. This wasn't merely a "bad" Cutler sort of deal, this was a Bills Defense combined with a fantastic offensive start forcing Cutler into positions that made him "bad".
  9. Pathetic post
  10. Definitely could improve with clock management, but there is so much more to coaching than that and with the lack of talent this team has, he's really held this together and has had them playing good fundamental football.
  11. Shady Tyrod McD Ducasse Poyer White Kyle Williams
  12. The same people who were all butthurt about dumping Whaley and trading the legendary decoy Sammy are the same ones who are complaining
  13. I have no idea who he is or what he is capable, but I'll hope for the best.
  14. He's done a pretty damn good job considering the lack of talent level on this team.
  15. Oh my God! Shady throwing shade. Love that guy! In any case, hope Sammy is able to turn it around for himself, must be kind of difficult to be the most highly touted of his class to be the bottom performer out of the group.
  16. We get it, you don't like the guy. No need for you to continue on with this, your point has been made.
  17. We started John Miller for a few games, and he has been much worse than Ducasse. That's why
  18. That's good to hear. I don't want him starting but in a special teams role and some spot duty pass rushing he will be serviceable.
  19. In a landslide, of course with Mo Brooks you will have a Senate that will be even more dysfunctional than it is today. He's as rigid as they come.
  20. Of course, we have to see what we do with a potential FA QB. Kyle Williams, Lorenzo, replacing J. Matthews and Gaines. I do believe that what Dunkirk said would make sense, they try to get Kyle to a discount but I doubt he goes for it. Gaines I'm hoping they can get for below $8m a year. Lorenzo I hope they can get for about $3M.
  21. So if we don't retain TT, then I think it moves to $50M. Also, does this take into account with the potential projected $178M total?
  22. Seems like a good kid, but no.
  23. Assuming we don't retain TT, doesn't that give us nearly $50 M in cap space for 2018?
