  1. They need to draft a QB in the first two rounds. This team has a lot of holes, but without a QB you have no chance and they take several years to develop so they need to get one ASAP.
  2. McCoy was McDermott's first choice as offensive coordinator. Now is the time to bring him in as an "advisor" or "consultant" or some such non-sense, so that he can replace Dennison next season.
  3. Agree with this. It will all be tied to the QB.
  4. Hire him. Fast.
  5. The list is so long that you'd probably be better off listing positions where they DON'T need help. But with that said, you can't do anything long term without a QB so that has to be the #1 pick.
  6. Glenn will never be back consistently this season. If his ankle didn't heal with the entire off season to work on it and rest, then no way will it heal while he is hitting 300 lb people and playing in NFL games.
  7. Agree. It makes no sense, but he's the boss. The results will speak for themselves I guess.
  8. Yeah, blame the medial. lol. That sounds about right. If all else fails...
  9. Defense needed Dareus bad. Now they can't rush the passer OR stop the run. So that's not great for a defense.
  10. I thought it was prior to week 10 but it doesn't appear that they will dump them even if there's still time. McDermott said when asked directly during a PC last week that he thinks those guys are doing a great job and has no plans to release them.
  11. He didn’t get hosed. The team wanted a more diverse passing offense, which anyone could see they needed after the last two seasons. Unfortunately, Taylor doesn’t pass all that well so he bombed out. Dennison tried to incorporate some concepts from last year to help him, but the bottom line is that if you want a better passing game then Taylor is not your QB. Obviously.
  12. lol. Q: How do you know that the coaches are lying at their press conferences? A: Their lips are moving.
  13. Maybe trading Dareus had to do with freeing up cap space, but trading him in the middle of a season when you are trying to make a playoff run was simply about not liking his attitude.
  14. It all points to loading up the box and blitzing heavily, but both of those are things that the defense has been loathed to do so we'll see.
  15. Sounds like they missed wildly on the evaluation of what they had at DT outside of Dareus. You'd have to assume that if they would have know what was in store they would have kept him at least until the end of the season. Now they're grasping at straws to replace the exact same player that they got rid of.
  16. Just so I’m clear on the timeline: They trade their run stuffing DT, get flatten by two teams in the running game, declare at the subsequent press conference that they don’t miss Dareus’s run stopping ability, and then pick up a new run stuffing DT off the junk pile the very next day. Is that correct?
  17. Yeah, that will save them.
  18. Primetime brings out the best in the Bills. lol.
  19. True. There is a bright side after all.
  20. Is Denver going to roll over and die now like the Bills?
  21. You have to think that they split with Miami and beat indy at home, so if they can win next week then it's 8-8 otherwise, yeah 7-9.
  22. It's a long shot that you can completely tear down and rebuild an NFL roster in this day and age and hang around to see the results. The best rebuilding jobs get the good young players to "buy in" instead of shipping them off so that the turnaround goes more quickly.
  23. Game is over. Boos for the home team. Sounds like Buffalo.
  24. That's horrible. It's not something you easily recover from.
  25. If even that.
