  1. White, Dawkins, Jones and Milano were draft picks that were made by the evil Doug Whaley with advice from McDermit, using Whaley’s scouting system- which is gone. Beane and his scouting staff havent drafted anybody so we’ll see what he can do. Power and Hyde were also acquired by Whaley prior to Beane’s arrival. Beane did bring in Benjamin, Gaines and Matthews, but they haven’t exactly set the league on fire since they got here. They’ve all spent a lot of time on the bench. file
  2. The process is already underway. Ducasse replacing Miller. Dawkins replacing Glenn (or maybe Mills if Glenn isn’t moved in the off season- which I doubt). And I m sure replacements for many of others are forthcoming.
  3. Let's try and trade for him. His trade value has to be at an all time low. Buy low right?
  4. So out of the 20 players you listed, there are 7 starters, 6 backups and 2 practice squad players. So 15 out of 20 made an NFL roster and half are heavy contributors. Yeah, that really stinks.
  5. While I generally agree that the offense has been terrible and that's been the biggest problem,, the defense has certainly not played well in several games as well. This defense doesn't look like a group that can compete yet with the top offenses, like New Orleans or New England. The are soft vs the run and have a below average pass rush. That's not going to fly against the top teams.
  6. Sure why not. They can let him go so that he can join the other Whaley "fails" like Gilmore, Darby, Woods, Watkins, Hogan, Goodwin, Dareus and Ragland who are all contributing more for their new coaching staffs than they did for the hacks Buffalo hired. Maybe Bean can bring in more contributors like Benjamin to help the team out
  7. The Bills could have drafted Watson last season without trading up. They will be in a similar spot this upcoming draft. They can get a QB without moving into the top 3 if necessary.
  8. Jury is still out on the Bills, but they are presiding over the worst period in the history of the Sabres. That’s probably Tyrods fault though so the Pegulas are absolved.
  9. Jones had 3 catches for 33 yards. The offense scored 16 points. Do you expect gushing praise for him? He did better than he was doing, but still has a long way to go. I think people need some perspective.
  10. Nice to see that we are back to the same old Tyrod discussions.
  11. Exactly. The Jags don't even have a good QB and they are 7-3 and playoff bound. There is no one way.
  12. 2 or 3 years, minimum, with great drafting. Probably 4 or 5 with pretty good drafting.
  13. Felton was fine- just as good as DiMarco. But he's not "their guy" so he's gone. In all honestly though, fullbacks are a dime a dozen. Greg Roman's offense is the thing they're missing most.
  14. I didn't misquote you. You are saying that the Bills should lose out if they can't win enough games to make the playoffs. I think that's a bad way to build a winning culture, which is really how you build a championship team. If you think that saying the exact opposite of what you said strengthens your argument then I don't know what to say, but carry on.
  15. Again? How many house cleanings do they need? They turnover 75% of the roster every two years. Their house is spotless by now.
  16. There's no one way to build. The Seahawks built their team and then got Russell Wilson. Same with the Patriots when they inserted Brady or the Broncos when they grabbed Manning. There are numerous other examples. The Sabres and Browns are cautionary tales to anyone who thinks that there is "zero reason to win another game" (as you posted) if they can't make the playoffs because it lowers their draft pick. Winning is a culture and a habit. You don't built it by tanking. Losing is easy and accepting losing turns you into the Browns or Sabres.
  17. This shows that they were destined to fail. If they bombed epically then that would indicate a clear path to greatness.
  18. How is the tanking working out for the Sabres? If all it took was losing to win championships then the Browns would be multiple year Champions.
  19. I didn’t mention Tyrod at all in my post. I think you are the one with Tyrod obsession, not me.
  20. Isn’t there some way we could blame immigrants for this? They must have a role in this debacle, no? Or is it the Jews again?
  21. So Peterman is the answer after all! I thought his poor start was bad news, but it actually it shows that he’s on track to being an all time great.
  22. Where did you hear that?
  23. Even with that extra sixth rounder they got for Dareus?
