  1. I feel like the people voting for Elway and Favre are getting fooled a little because those guys threw the ball hard almost all the time. So yeah, they can break fingers and leave "cross hairs" on 20 yard square ins by gunning it but that doesn't mean they had the best arms. Of the guys I saw, my vote if for Jeff George. He could gun it or throw it with touch. Plus he had the release of Dan Marino.. The most physically talented QB I ever saw. The fact that he was just average shows you how much of that position is played with the head.
  2. Actually, I think it's correct. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2018/03/25/jets-rescind-free-agency-offer-to-ndamukong-suh/33279819/ http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/03/25/jets-owner-says-theyve-pulled-their-offer-to-ndamukong-suh/ http://www.omaha.com/huskers/blogs/once-the-high-bidder-for-ndamukong-suh-new-york-jets/article_f04bbafb-9728-57c4-8db9-ad0fe48baca8.html The owner said he discussed the offer with the former Lions and Dolphins player with general manager Mike Maccagnan "and I think our thinking changed a bit. It was a pretty high offer; all these good guys will be a lot of money." Johnson was vague on reasons for the move, admitting though that it "didn't seem to be in keeping with our long-term plan."
  3. One will play 1 and the other 3 like the Bills did under Rexy with K Williams and Dareus. It's not a problem but unless one of them can play DE occasionally it will limit their flexibility.
  4. Very possible that the Broncos take Chubb in that scenario. Or Barkley if the Browns have taken him already. It's honestly hard to imagine that QBs would go 4 our of the first 5 picks. Nothing close to that has ever happened in the history of the draft that I'm aware of.
  5. Won’t be there at number 12.
  6. He has 3 sack over the last two years. Not exactly Bruce Smith. They may be able to replace him.
  7. Exactly. She's obviously a kitty.
  8. To be fair, they didn't say it was a woman, so ...
  9. Blind man could have seen that coming. The guy barely did anything last season and we just signed a new DE.
  10. That would be awesome. Dick Jauron approved. This has been closer to the truth, for sure.
  11. It all depends on their evaluation of the actual players. If you trade a bunch of assets to go to #2 and then draft a bust then you have a total disaster on your hands. You need to really, really believe that the #2 QB will be a franchise QB. If you think it's a 50-50 chance then I'm not sure it's worth the assets you're giving up because the chances for the #3 QB may not be that much worse.
  12. Excellent summary of the popular thinking right now. I too think everyone is going to wait until draft day. Even if the Giants are 90% sure that they plan on moving the pick then they will probably wait until the last moment to get the best possible offer and be sure that Cleveland doesn't pull some crazy stunt and draft a RB or something.
  13. Pass if that's the case. The Bills could realistically end up with the #3 QB anyway with the twelfth pick. So I'm not sure it's worth it unless they're really, really sold on the 2nd highest rated QB in the draft class. He'd better not be the next Ryan Leaf.
  14. The Tyrod trade obviously sent him over the edge.
  15. So to summarize: A naked Zay Jones breaks a glass door and crawls through the hole cutting the crap out of himself. He then goes into the ground floor apartment, bleeding everywhere, and screaming that he was going to fight for Jesus. A woman screams and his brother, who is also there, has to stop him from jumping out a 30th story window. ???? Damn.
  16. Probably too much So based on this chart, the #12 and #22 alone would be more than enough to get the #1 overall from the Browns. That sounds totally unrealistic to me.
  17. It sounds good in theory, but I just want to point out that Glenn was not the teams starting RT last season, has never shown that he can play RT effectively and almost certainly wouldn't want to play there anyway since the big money is at LT.
  18. I think both Groy and Miller will look better with a different blocking scheme. If they draft a T and a G/C then I think they'll be some serious competition along the OL and some very hard cuts to make.
  19. It's a tribute to Fitz that even after all these years, he can still turn back the clock and highjack a Bills thread to make it a referendum on him instead. Nice.
  20. Good signings. Creates competition across the OL except for LT. If they draft a LT candidate in round 2 then they will have that too. I like it.
  21. You forgot the Broncos taking Allen at #5.
  22. Injuries to both feet on a 350 lb, 7 season vet, that were serious enough to keep him out of most of last two seasons can’t be described as “greatly exaggerated”, IMO. But he may come back strong.
