  1. Would probably not be a bad idea in certain situations. They have below average players at every position except LT, TE and RB. And the RB position might be headed for trouble as well. They've actually lost talent from last year's offense that was already #29 our of 32. They will be starting over with a new system. Not promising but you never know I guess.
  2. Ragland is a starting ILB for the Chiefs.
  3. TO is a hall of fame wide receiver and in excellent physical condition. Even at 44 he's probably still better than 3/4 of the WRs in the CFL.
  4. Any relation to Bob McAdoo?
  5. Did they call a screen during the entire season? I'm not sure it was in the playbook.
  6. It really is window into the soul of people and it’s scary what you see there in many of them.
  7. I actually preferred "The Amish Rifle."
  8. That was the "new" societal norm from 40 years ago. The current societal norm is not to give a crap.
  9. I agree. I think Peterman or McCarron will be traded. Otherwise one of them will end up a #3 and that would be a waste. Allen will definitely get at least the #2 if for no other reason for his development.
  10. Not to defend Dennison too much because I don't think he did a great job, but he bent over backwards to try and adapt his offense to the completely unsuited personnel on the team. Play calling, blocking schemes, passing routes were all nothing like what he has done in the past. It was like oil and water. At some point, I'm sure he decided that if he was going to get fired then it was going to be running his offense and not some bastardized, Frankenstein version of Greg Roman's so he went with Peterman.
  11. I was wondering whether this might be the case as well because it was really bad. Hopefully he's just mailing it in and it's not something more serious.
  12. Steve Tasker is horrible. Sad to say. I was listening today and he couldn't get a single fact straight on the topic of the day: the Bennett Trade. He couldn't remember who was traded, what teams they went to, whether they were good when they got there... wtf? He was in the league at this time. Plus, you'd think he would do a little preparation on the topic of the day before the show starts.
  13. I don’t even know 53 was possible for an adult.
  14. Sad game, but Christie’s kick in the Tennessee throwback game has to be up there. That was one tough, high pressure kick. 40+ yards, on the road in horrible weather conditions, win or lose (it appeared) I remember thinking before he kicked it that if anyone could make it it was Christie- the best clutch kicker the Bills have ever had, IMO. Probably #1 for me too. A very big one too.
  15. Maybe it would work if their colors weren't orange and poop brown. Anyone that wants to redesign the Steelers logo doesn't understand football tradition.
  16. He slammed John McCain for getting captured during Vietnam.
  17. I kind of agree with Trump here. The trip to the white house is basically just supposed to be a photo op. Why would he give the players the opportunity to use it as a platform to express their political views if he is opposed to them? You know the media would have been all over who wasn't attending and why. He can't control what they do at the games (despite his best efforts) but he can control who comes to the white house.
  18. Sucks. Way too young.
  19. I'm not sure If I should feel sorry for him that his work means so little to him, or happy for him that he can start a new career on a whim without concern for the financial impact. Whichever it is, the situation is totally out of touch with the real world where people can't afford to quit paying jobs for such juvenile and petty reasons.
  20. This is true but you do need some ability to adjust based on your opponent. You don’t want Dave Wannstedt’s defenses either.
  21. Well it did lead to some of the most exciting seasons in MLB history. Player health may take a hit but this is football we’re talking about after all, so...
  22. Blah, blah, blah. Let’s see how the offense looks before we decide if he can be an effective OC in this league. His track record to this point doesn’t really warrant giving him the benefit of the doubt.
  23. "You can't go around telling people your problems, because 90% of the people don't care and the other 10% are glad you got them." Lou Holtz This sums up the general thinking in America these days, IMO. Telling other people that something is hurtful falls on deaf ears because they are hurting too and think you are just complaining. You would think that the fact that everyone has issues would create empathy between people but apparently it doesn't.
