How are they "restocking the shelves" by cleaning house? How many players are left on the team from when they took over? Generally, you keep the players you have until you are able to find their replacements. That hasn't been their approach. This is the result.

Beane and McD are on the same page. They wanted to clean house and they did. Unfortunately, they didn't bring in anywhere near what they lost so now they stink. Maybe it'll change over the next few years but that remains to be seen.

Not a full bodied endorsement of Peterman by McDermott at his press conference at all, IMO. He dodged questions about if Nate would be looking over his shoulder and what steps Allen needs to take to become the starter, so you know both of those topics came up with the QBs in their meetings. The fact that he seemed to leave it open for Allen to take over at any time isn't really ideal for Peterman's confidence.
