    He has never really had the opportunity to call anything special. He's announced for some of the worst teams in the history of the franchise. No "fandamonium" or anything else when you're getting pummeled and missing the playoffs year after yer.

    Would be a Whaley like mistake. If you don’t have a clear franchise QB and one is available who believe will be great, it would be silly not to take him. You can get back more than what you spent in draft capital for the other one if he’s good as well.

    Obviously you draft him if you think he’s a franchise QB, without any question at all. If both then look like top players you trade one later for multiple #1 picks.

    Schwartz runs a combination of man and zone. Rex Ryan ran a lot more man to man that Schwartz ever did and that didn't work out to well.

    How about just running the ball more. They have thrown it on 65% of their offensive plays. Can't get into any kind of running game rhythm doing that.

    It's all about the QB. Look at Hue Jackson. He has looked like a historic clown thus far in his career but suddenly Mayfield comes in and he looks like Doug Pederson. Crazy.

    It's been more like the Green Zone to this point.

    Lotulelei was brought in as an interior run defender and the interior run defense is pretty good, even with a rookie MLB. Maybe they overpaid for him but that’s a different discussion. The real problem is at DE, where they are getting gashed on runs to the perimeter and failing to generate a consisten pass rush.

    Greg Romans system is very OL friendly. Remember that Kouandjio and Miller both looked good back then too. He had a better OL coach as well.

    This is silliness. I know it’s said in hyperbole, but the gap between the best college team of all time and ANY NFL team is astronomical. Remember that even all time great college teams that had multiple future NFL players are years behind NFL teams in their player development if nothing else.

    He’s just another guy. Not a championship calibur DE for sure but might be an ok backup at the right price.
