  1. How is Allen developing now that he's injured and on the bench? Maybe facing surgery per this report: https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/bills-losing-the-locker-room-with-nathan-peterman-josh-allen-reportedly-facing-tommy-john-like-injury/ You might say that's bad luck but throwing him out there unprepared makes an injury more likely, IMO. That was part of the reason to have a reliable short term starter for a year or so: to get Allen ready.
  2. Especially if Anderson bombs, which is quite possible.
  3. They’re just not focusing on it or committed to it. Plain and simple.
  4. I think it would be wise to wait until after Sunday's game before saying that Anderson can play as well as Taylor. I'm skeptical that's the case. Strange. I thought I remember him playing like crap last season when he got a chance to start. Plus, he was a 5th round pick for a reason. I think they had plenty of reasons to be skeptical about Peterman. They just chose to ignore them.
  5. The amazing thing about this perspective is that Nate Peterman has probably gotten more opportunities than any 5th round QB in history. He’s bombed horribly. Now he just needs a 5th opportunity? ?
  6. Who are the FA QBs? That's the list they need.
  7. Don't get too upset. Just another one of the guys looking for any excuse to attack other posters. Peterman plays well- other posters are &#@!'s for not believing in him. Peterman plays badly- other posters are %$#@'s for "wanting him to fail."
  8. But my question is: Is that penalty proportionate to the foul?
  9. What about PIs that are 50 yard penalties and put the ball at the one yard line with 1 minute left to play? A penalty that 9 times out of 10 decides the game.
  10. The implication by Rodak that White didn't play well against Hopkins is absurd. He obviously didn't watch the game but tweets like he knows what happened.
  11. You mean you would be disheartened watching a pick six to lose the game after you just made a goal line stand?
  12. I literally laughed out loud when I heard that. I mean if that doesn't fall into the "no kidding" category then what does. Very insightful.
  13. It's all a matter of perspective. I saw 2nd and goal from the 6 as 3 straight runs from a power formation, but we got 2 passes and a FG instead.
  14. Props to Tredavious White. It's nice to have a lock down corner. The defense has most of the pieces it needs.
  15. Their performance was so good that this week in took both an inept offense and terrible special teams to turn it into a loss.
  16. The reason he looks so bad is that he keeps getting thrown out there by McDermott. Any other QB would have been cut and been bagging groceries by the end of last season. Not with Peterman, for some reason. In fact, my money's on him starting next week.
  17. That's what's going to happen. Nate Peterman, part 5
  18. The Bills are primarily a zone defense so having two lock-down man to man CBs seems like a luxury that is a waste of cap resources. They'd be better off spending the money on DL if they are going to go for defense..
  19. Right. That is the problem with drafting raw players. As soon as their skills come to full fruition you have to pony up big $ to keep them. Meanwhile, guys who come out ready can give you a couple of years of top play at low prices. Look at Tredavious White as an example. Maybe McDermott and Beane see the defensive MLB as a quarterback type who is worth paying big $ to keep an elite player long term. You can't have too many of those on your roster before you're in salary cap trouble though.
  20. Yeah, but besides that ... Why not just put an OT out there. At least he would help the running game.
  21. The problem isn’t that they haven’t made moves, IMO, it’s that the moves they’ve made have been bad- drafting Zay Jones in the 2nd, trading a Darby for for Jordan Matthews and decent draft picks for Kelvin Benjamin. That’s a good starter plus a 2nd, 3rd and 7th round pick for zero basically.
  22. Maybe, but that’s not what he said at the PC. He said that Peterman status with the team, as the number 2 QB, hasn’t changed. I’m just trying to figure out if Anderson becoming the prime backup is just a guess or if anyone associated with the team actually said it.
  23. I just listened to McDermotts Wednesday PC and he said that Peterman would be the number 2. Has something happened since then?
  24. But will he stand for the anthem?
