  1. You'll probably feel a lot better by halftime.
  2. He would probably be fired immediately to prevent that from happening. Tyrod is done.
  3. It's all about the QB. Look at Hue Jackson. He has looked like a historic clown thus far in his career but suddenly Mayfield comes in and he looks like Doug Pederson. Crazy.
  4. I certainly hope he turns out better than Ryan Denney. ?
  5. It's been more like the Green Zone to this point.
  6. Lotulelei was brought in as an interior run defender and the interior run defense is pretty good, even with a rookie MLB. Maybe they overpaid for him but that’s a different discussion. The real problem is at DE, where they are getting gashed on runs to the perimeter and failing to generate a consisten pass rush.
  7. Greg Romans system is very OL friendly. Remember that Kouandjio and Miller both looked good back then too. He had a better OL coach as well.
  8. This is silliness. I know it’s said in hyperbole, but the gap between the best college team of all time and ANY NFL team is astronomical. Remember that even all time great college teams that had multiple future NFL players are years behind NFL teams in their player development if nothing else.
  9. He’s just another guy. Not a championship calibur DE for sure but might be an ok backup at the right price.
  10. I hope they’re working on their standup to keep us entertained for the second half.
  11. Enough passing. They have a rookie QB with the worst wide receiving corps in the league and they are passing 80% of the time. Meanwhile, they have a top running back and one of the best running games over the last three years sitting mostly unused. When they do run, Marcus Murphy gets almost as many snaps as Shady. This doesn't sound logical to me, but apparently I'm not an offensive genius like Daboll.
  12. Apparently, it's up to Allen to pick up the free blitzers. As if he didn't have enough on his plate as a rookie. Nice offensive system.
  13. Actually, what he said was that more than half of the sacks weren't the offensive line's fault. He didn't say who's fault they were. I.e., how many were due to Allen holding the ball, the RBs not picking up blitzers, the WRs not making blitz adjustments, etc. It actually sounded to me that he thought the biggest issue was Allen not seeing the impending blitz in the defensive alignment and making the adjustments with the WRs as a result.
  14. We had a receptionist once that left for lunch and never came back. To message, note or anything. We got a letter from her about 2 weeks later letting us know that she quit and to forward her last paycheck.
  15. Patience! It takes 5 years for an expansion team like the Bills to make it to the playoffs. And doesn't count the 2 years that the Bills are spending turning into an expansion team in the first place.
  16. I'm glad to read that everything is all going according to plan. ? Strange that McDermott didn't seem to happy about it at the post game press conference, everything going so well and all.
  17. It's impressive that Kerley is praising him when he would probably have not been cut if Davis had simply quit before the game.
  18. That doesn't matter. He gets credit for them anyway because McDermott was here. lol.
  19. Also, Goff didn't start until week 10 and the Rams were a 4-5 team at that point, not a virtual expansion team like the Bills are right now.
  20. It sounds like they are going to get some of that money to Davis back, so there's that. Maybe the Pegulas will throw a monster party with it! Goff didn't start as a rookie. Kelly didn't start as a rookie in the NFL. Nice try. OTOH, look at Mahomes. I know, Andy Reid doesn't know beans...
  21. Sure. That's why all these rookie QBs are starting around the league. Means nothing!!! lol Stupid coaches.
  22. So when evaluating Beane and his department, we give him credit for decisions that McDermott made while Whaley and his staff were there? That would certainly help his record I guess.
  23. Exactly. He will develop bad habits. Looking at the rush, throwing too quickly, not setting his feet, etc. Forget that he might actually get injured if he runs it 8 times per game and gets hit 20 more on passes like today.
  24. Bobby Babich, the former Browns DB coach, was the guy that recommended Poyer, not McDermott. FA evaluation is the GM and scouting departments job. To say that McDermott did it on his own doesn't sound logical or likely to me. But maybe McDermott did it all, who knows.
  25. It will matter if Allen gets destroyed like David Carr because he has a crap team around him, especially that 2018 OL.
