Even without Brady, the Patriots have a better roster than anyone else in the division. Certainly the Bills. Compare their players 1v1. How many Bills would start for the Pats? Would there be any on offense except maybe McCoy and Allen?

No surprise at all but it still sucks that it didn't work out. I don't want to make excuses for him but he didn't exactly get the best QB play while he was here. But even considering that, his production was bad and with his knees I doubt he has long left to play either.

Hopefully everything will work out fine with Allen, but it's still hard to fathom how a team that has needed a quarterback for 20 years decided to pass on Mahomes and trade down. Same goes for passing on Watson for that matter. Bills could have had either one.

It doesn't sound like the Bills are going to pay big money for top, proven free agents, so this is exactly the kind of risk that they are going to have to take if they want to get some help. He is very unlikely to be a long term solution because of his age and injury history, but if he has a good year or two while a rookie develops then it was a successful deal. I say if the price is right then why not?

He'd probably be a good #2 for you. He has battled injuries, including chronically injured knees, but he can get open and is a pretty good blocker. As you can see from this thread, he may be available for a reasonable price.

Very difficult to believe that anyone would let a proven OL walk with how scarce they are, so I wonder about Paradis myself. Probably a better chance to get someone like Long who has disappointed and try to turn him around while drafting for the long term.

If only this were true. The usual strategy is to run on 1st down and if you can get some yardage, on second down too. Then decide whether to pass or run on third down based on your situation. I know it’s conservative but you manage the clock the best way you can and you give your OL and RB a chance to win the game for you.

Smart guy with experience who understands the game. If he had a little more physical ability (and maybe an Adamantium skeleton) he might have been an all time great.
