Need serious WR and OL help. Plus probably TE as well. Even if Teller becomes a solid starter you still need at least a new starting center and another guard. A RT prospect wouldn't hurt either. I'm not too worried about RB. I think they have good depth there and can probably add someone decent during FA. Plus Daboll is obviously a pass oriented OC to begin with.

I have to assume that attitude, work ethic and/or other behind the scenes things played a factor in his very short stay. Otherwise, 2 weeks with 2 different QBs (one of which isn't even in the league anymore), isn't really much of a look.

Because they made a minimal effort and hoped for the best. They lost their three best starting OL from a group that was marginal to begin with. In response they signed a mediocre center and a backup tackle, and drafted a developmental guard prospect in the 5th round. So the plan was apparently that Dawkins replaces Glenn, Miller/Newhouse/Groy replace Incognito and Bodine/Groy replace Wood. And they just keep on rolling with Ducasse and Mills, their two worst lineman from the previous season. How could anything go wrong?

Sure. Maybe pickup a DE in the 1st and a CB in the 2nd as well.

They had better not use a 3rd round pick on a RB.

So I guess the plan to replace EJ Gaines has officially failed now that Davis and Phillip Gaines are both gone. Would have been nice to bring him back.

Agree. It makes no sense to play Allen until after the bye. Might as well wait until he's 100%. I honestly don''t think it matters who they pick between Allen, Anderson or even Barkley. The quality of QB play will be very similar.

It is a tough call.

He pretty much has to say this until he actually cuts him (if that ever happens.) But I really wonder what he sees in him. He has so little arm talent that it's very hard for him out there. Even when he makes decent reads he has trouble making the throws.

I'm with you 100%. This season is a disaster for building winning habits. That's for sure.
