Mills is probably their second best lineman right now. ?
im all for replacing him but finding 4 new starters better than him in one season isn’t going to be likely.
I did that at work last week after I fixed the coffee machine. I had everyone run into the parking lot and do a celebration.
These are great. Even if you have played the game you are usually only intimately familiar with one or two positions or parts of the game. These books give you an overview and understanding of strategies and aspects in other areas.
That just doesn’t happen. Maybe your first round pick can be an “off the bus” starter if you nail it. But where are the other two coming from? Who was the last team to have three solid starters as rookies from one draft? Not to mention that this leaves three for FA which would be a great FA off season too.
It’s funny how people seem to think they’re going to find new starters at WR, C, G, TE, DT, DE all before next season. Not to mention upgrades at OT and WR2. We can only hope I guess.
If they don’t win it will be spun as a rebuilding year and with so many holes they may not be wrong.
The Bills are AT LEAST half a dozen starters away from playoff contention and that doesn’t get fixed in one offseason. This idea that next year will be the true test makes no sense to me. I really wish they didn’t decide to start over from scratch last season, but they did. Given that it’s going to be two or three more years to rebuild the roster.
DT, DE, CB, OG, C, WR, TE... and that’s just for starters. You could probably add OT, RB and WR2 to the list. It’s not something that can be accomplished in one draft and FA period. Maybe not even 2.
Lorax only plays LB when they go 4-3 and he plays the run stopping SLB position. Doesn’t seem like a good fix if his problem is physical play. The only reason he’s getting more snaps the last two weeks is because Milano is hurt. And I haven’t seen any reason to think that Edmunds could be a better pass rusher than Lorax.
