  1. I was in third year in the Navy and on the USS WASP when it happened. I had just returned from my first deployment on the USS HARRY S. TRUMAN and life was never the same again for us in the military, that's for sure. In 2003 when Enduring Freedom kicked off in Iraq I was deployed on the USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT and after ended up in East Africa for anti terror ops and civil affairs work. I can't imagine how much suffering and death in sum total this one day inflicted upon our nation and the world. Working in Haiti for the earthquake relief in 2010, nobody can really understand how terrible it is to see dead bodies all over the place, buildings destroyed, stretchers everywhere with hurt or exposed people, chaos, the smells... most people can't handle those conditions and I still can't 14 years later fully deal with those memories.
  2. Sounds like what the pundits (and the bookies) did about the Jets... one minute it's SUPER BOWL CONTENDERS and DIVISION WINNERS and now it's CAN THEY MAKE THE PLAYOFFS? Smart fans recognize that you can't read into a team fully after the preseason or even after a couple of early regular season games. I fully expect we will learn a lot more about this team over the next month because of the schedule we play.
  3. He never got the chance to succeed with QBs like Losman and Edwards... he was not used properly and it showed, hence why I mentioned him. Are you REALLY saying that he was the mediocre player when he was surrounded by piss poor QB play and coached by Dick Jauron? He looked really good with Fitzy at QB UNTIL HE GOT HURT. Cut him some slack.
  4. Jeff Wilson, Jr. isn't a scrub, so still they aren't really hurting THAT much at the position though....
  5. I would like to put in a plug for Roscoe Parrish for a WR who could have been a really good one but along with his career ending injuries was a victim of poor management and coaching. I was always so sad to see him stuck with terrible QBs and then FINALLY when we get a better one he got injured twice and was never the same. We utterly WASTED his talent and Tre White's injuries reminded me of what happened to him.
  6. That's completely fair, but the Phishy defense isn't as good as it used to be and you know how Josh has used and abused Ramsey throughout their games. My concern is being able to stop their running game because I think the Achane injury report is some sort of fake out by McDaniel and I think he will definitely start.
  7. I was not happy with their mischaracterization of our defense, which held Murray to just 3 points in the second half, and the idea that Josh has to put the team on his back and play Superman... they obviously ignored the effectiveness of our run game with balance and the fact that Josh makes the decision to take off and run, not Brady as a game plan.
  8. Colin Cowherd DOES NOT HAVE THE BILLS IN HIS TOP TEN in his Herd Hierarchy. This is probably the worst I have seen his take on the Bills in the Josh era... what is he ON? Is Booger J-Mac Jests Fan really affecting his brain?
  9. Believe me, the pool of people who are compassionate is shrinking and shrinking, and here you won't find much of it unfortunately.
  10. So you mean the progressions where Marvin was WIDE OPEN for a touchdown and he didn't even bother to? Yeah, REAL smart making your high first round pick a third or fourth option. Know who else did that? JOHN RAUCH with O.J. and he got fired.
  11. I am stunned that Kyler made such a ridiculous statement. The coach said that it was because of the Bills defense that Marvin Harrison, Jr. didn't have but 3 targets, but Kyler of course says no, that's not the case, directly contradicting his own coach. Looney tunes! "“I wouldn’t say (the Bills) were taking him away,” the signal caller added when talking about Harrison’s lack of production. “As a quarterback going through your reads, sometimes the ball goes to him. It’s not my job. Obviously, I have a sense and a feel for the guys when they aren’t getting the ball and when they are getting the ball, but I leave that up to (offensive coordinator Drew Petzing). He tells me, ‘Don’t worry about that type of stuff. Just keep playing your game and get the ball where it’s supposed to go.'”" https://arizonasports.com/story/3557494/marvin-harrison-jr-nonfactor-bills/
  12. Bills will rough Tua Far worse than the crooked cop Grier gets fired too
  13. An irrelevant league relevant? I don't think so. She didn't even play in the Olympics and the ratings for USA Olympics womens basketball were through the roof.
  14. This kind of a game against an NFC opponent at home usually means the Bills score a ton of points, and therefore I predict Khalil Shakir will be the best player on Sunday. This is a personal game for our team, considering how the Cards whooped and hollered after the Hail Mary that beat us in their building. I don't care if many players on this team didn't play in that game, Josh DID and I think he will want to pour it on them and Shakir will be that vessel. GO BILLS!
  15. NOTHING HAS CHANGED except for the increased cap burden Ramsey places on the Phish 😂 "Out of all the players mentioned in this article, Ramsey most certainly seems the most overrated of them all. He was deemed the best cornerback in the league back when he was with the Rams, but he most certainly isn't that anymore. He is still a pretty good cornerback, but he has a taken a step back. Also, this might be whenever he has faced against the Bills and Josh Allen, but he typically has had some of his worst games, even dating back to when he was in Jacksonville. Again, Ramsey was brought in to help this Dolphins defense, especially against the likes of the Bills and Allen, but hasn't paid off yet. If Allen is still with the Bills, there isn't much hope for the Dolphins with Ramsey leading the defensive back field, based off of Allen's success against Ramsey." https://buffalowdown.com/posts/buffalo-bills-division-rival-most-insanely-overrated-player-01j0c9w78ddh
  16. He's overrated and was handed MVPs he didn't deserve, period. So, what IS the reason they "hate on Lamar"? Tell us.
  17. All that talk about salary cap space and his appearance this week for fans and yet still he doesn't have a new contract!
  18. I'd much rather talk about Shakir or Samuel or who we DO HAVE rather than the guy who couldn't be bothered to man up and speak after the playoff loss. I've been done with Stef since he went to the Texans.
  19. I drafted Ray Davis as an extremely late round pick and I'm stashing him... I don't care what the depth chart says, Ray Davis will contribute a lot to the Bills offensively as the season chugs on and could prove to be a steal if Cook's turnovers and drops are an issue.
  20. Panera and Dunkin are both owned by private equity firms. Their quality and service have gone down tremendously, to the massive detriment of customers. Today's 10% becomes tomorrow's 30% and then over 50% after that. It's a Pandora's Box that the NFL just opened and you take it so lightly.
  21. Super competitive Aaron Rodgers QUIT rather than keep playing? Who does he have to come home to that loves him? Think about that. The guy isn't a normal guy, he's a mental case.
  22. This needs an award for best weekly post.
  23. We didn't miss on Moss... you do realize that he is now the starter for the Bengals, right?
  24. What totally ineffective propaganda on the #1 source for raw sewage, X! Here, go buy some Kleexex for the next 4+ years, B-Man... the soon to be two time loser who can't win the popular vote will need a truckload. https://www.amazon.com/kleenex/s?k=kleenex
  25. I'm sure Billy Joel could write a song about the Ryan Day years like We Didn't Start the Fire LOL SEASON OPENER IS ALMOST HERE! O-H
