I am a realist... after seeing the Bills look pedestrian vs. the Bengals and the same bugaboos come up vs. the Chiefs, I have come to the "punch your ticket and let the chips fall where they may" conclusion.

Haven't seen a great WR like Shakir since Dre and that's not hyperbole... now at long last our WR corps being on the same page makes him deadly.

I was going to say the exact same thing!!! Punch the ticket and beat the teams you play in the playoffs. Home field is not as advantageous as it once was. That being said, let the Ravens or Texans face the Steelers in the first round... that's the best case scenario.

Man, that's exactly what I'm talking about... health issues can take down anyone in a second, especially a stroke and I cannot IMAGINE that. I love cold weather but ever since my lungs have gotten progressively worse, I can't do it anymore and have to eventually move somewhere in the southwest.

Shakir is the best receiver we have ever had by catch percentage... his ability in this area is simply uncanny. Normally HBs and TEs dominate this stat, but Shakir is like a Hoover vacuum. 86.7% last year and 94.7% this year for catch percentage is outer worldly! Separation, shmeparation if you can catch...

Happy Valley is going to be an absolute circus and the Ringleader is appearing, so that will make the game even worse. I don't envy any Buckeyes fans making that trip and having not only to deal with the Penn State cult but all of the extra security and traffic/lines that will occur.

Judging by the shows Keon and Shakir put on, you can't definitively say that at all. Who could have predicted Andre Reed would be a HOF receiver in 1989?

A $20 million cap hit comes along with the pick, and how would we remotely cover that number? The Browns aren't. If he does move, it is not to the Bills during the season.

Trading for Cooper wasn't a "there's always next year" kind of a move... what do you expect in a transition year like this one? Beane jettisoned the older players and bit the bullet cap wise and that is what great teams do. While it isn't perfect it is what we have to do to remain a force and not just grasp for shiny objects.

The Browns can get a ton more for Garrett than any other player on that team, but there is no way they would do it. Beane isn't going to mortgage our future by throwing high value picks around, he just isn't. We're getting Von back soon and Milano in December... this team can only get better without sacrificing future high value picks.

Clearly in 2024 that doesn't even matter anymore if you have money.

It's Week 8. We didn't bring in Cephus and MVS in Week 8.

I have noticed as my wife has that the Bills wait until halftime to make crucial defensive adjustments in most of the games. Also, with the limited abilities of the WRs we have started so far because of injuries and not having a true #1 WR, Josh has had to figure out with help from coaches how to best break through how the opposing defense was slowing them down. With the booming trend for Keon and the acquisition of Coop, the limitations we once had SHOULD melt away and we will get better and better. I am not worried at all as we get healthier.

What does this say about Worthy if they have to bring in JuJu AND now Hopkins?!?! In the last two games, his catch percentage is abysmal. This move is desperation because the Chiefs keep on drafting badly at WR, whether it is poor performance or off the field issues. The Chiefs can afford to be desperate the way their defense is playing right now, and I look forward to the Bills getting our defensive starters back this coming month.

I'm sick to death of hearing about this subject, because there are always certain players like Ryan Clark who will get on TV and say no doctor or specialist told him not to play again, as if he is like any other player out there. It's like a performer/stuntman who regularly risks their life, but one has hurt themselves so many times that they think they can keep doing what they love and one day, poof, they are hurt for life or worse. Tua's chances of really being hurt for life are much greater but he and players like Ryan Clark think he can play on. Stupid is as stupid does in this case it seems...

I drafted Dobbins in back to back drafts, he is out for the season early, don't this season and he's doing really well. I have been playing fantasy football since 1996, back when we used a posterboard for picks and I scored games using the newspaper. I actually drafted Eddie George and Adam Vinatieri as rookies LOL
