  1. Its hard to argue against the points in this thread.
  2. I would’ve gone for it end of 2nd quarter instead of punting it away. We lost all momentum. It would’ve been a gamble for sure - but we needed to score points this game bc we weren’t stopping Cincy on defense. Not putting up any points to make it a one score game at half really killed any possible momentum imo.
  3. Something has to change on defense. Burrow and Mahomes are not going anywhere. Lawrence will only get better. We cant play bend dont break zone defense vs QB’s like that. 3rd and 10 wont mean anything. They will carve us up and win TOP 9 out of 10 times. It puts so much pressure on our offense to be perfect.
  4. Im fine with McD being our HC as long as Frazier is gone, AND McD acknowledges he is the HC and not the DC of this team. That means he hires someone who may change the DNA of this defense - which is what we need. Part of being a great leader is recognizing what and who to delegate things to. Im also very unsure of Dorsey. Id be willing to give him one more year. But Frazier has to go. Beane needs to speak to how we have invested so many resources to the DL and they’re so underwhelming.
  5. Biggest complaint during McD era: we are soft. This is not the first time we have been manhandled at the LOS under McD in the playoffs. I dont know how we overcome that. Enjoy your families ladies and gentleman. Don’t let this loss/team ruin your personal lives.
  6. They bulldozed us. They are a physical team. We are not. We get bullied quite easily.
  7. How does a ball go forward 10yds if the arm is not moving forward.
  8. Merge or do whatever but enjoy! 😂
  9. Chiefs have to be the luckiest team in the NFL with lucky bounces and flags. Who did Reid sacrifice for this fortune.
  10. In fairness to Dorsey - theres only so much you can improve on when the offense was already among the best in the league. The fact we didn’t take a measurable dip can also be viewed as an accomplishment in and of itself.
  11. I struggled between Shanahan and Daboll. I think most will. I think something can be made of the NFCW weakness this season when compared to NFCE. The Chiefs played the 49ers in SF, and obliterated them. Look at the 49ers schedule this season. It had to be among the easiest in the nfl Bears - joke Hawks - above avg Broncos - joke Rams - joke Panthers - joke Falcons - joke Chiefs - really good Rams - joke Chargers - above avg Cardinals - joke Saints - below avg Dolphins - good Bucs - avg Hawks - above avg Commanders - avg Raiders - joke Cardinals - joke At least 9 games vs horrible teams. Props to them for handling business though. The Chiefs game might be indicative of their slightly inflated W/L record. Look up the Giants schedule - it’s not even close how much harder it was.
  12. Id for sure be interested. I loved London
  13. All good points
  14. Hard to argue against any of what you said. like I said in another post. I probably should have listed him, but I left him, Andy Reid, and Taylor off bc they were heavy favorites to win the SB. The rosters of the Bills, Bengals and Chiefs are pretty stacked. The only way McD or Andy should win that award is if they at least go to the Super Bowl. Thats my opinion. And I think the award is announced before the Super Bowl to honor the accomplishments during the regular season so I simply see no way they win coach of the year. As I said in another post, I’d rather have no one else be HC of the Bills.
  15. He would fall under someone else. I wouldn’t trade McD for anyone. And me giving Daboll credit is not meant to discredit McD. Truth is McD has a loaded roster. We were Super Bowl favorites going into this season. Anything less will likely be viewed as a disappointment. In some ways it’s not fair (for McD).
  16. Who do you think should win? My vote is for Daboll: 1. He inherited a team with almost no talent outside Saquon Barkley and currently has them in the 2nd round of the playoffs. 2. He turned Danny Dimes into a threat at QB and legitimately makes him look like a poor-man’s Allen. 3. His already talent-deprived team was further decimated by injuries - especially at WR, and they basically have an entire new WR Corps from Week 1 and are all performing at a high level. It’s super impressive. 4. Daboll’s massive watermelons between his legs set the tone for the season week 1 when his team went up agains the Titans, who were 12-5 last season, and instead of playing to not lose, he played to win and went for 2 late in the game with a minute left to win the game. I miss that man. Im very happy for him. He deserves to win AP Coach of the Year.
  17. Buttlicker got injured this year. Probably simplest explanation for his down year.
  18. Where it might hurt them as wall is false starts.
  19. I love motor but id say the future is Cook. I want Cook starting next season with a rookie behind him. Singletary will get paid OK money. We need all the money to address other positions.
  20. Not gonna lie if hes indeed vaping I would like him even more. I think he’s a solid coach. The dude has had a revolving door at QB and still made the playoffs. He turned TUA around. Tua’s injury concerns are another matter.
  21. Gotcha. So that’s in addition to the RT and RG already being out.
  22. To me, the drop by Knox in the end zone prior to Shakir’s drop was bigger. Would’ve made it 21-0 instead of 17-0. Mentally, that’s big.
