Tua ruled out vs Buffalo, Skylar Thompson expected to start

Disclaimer: Miami will play this game like they’ve already been eliminated. Watch out for opening onside kick. Fake punts. Going for it on every 4th and short. Trick plays galore. We need to be ready for that sorta stuff now. Let’s get some good mojo going on offense/defense, avoid injuries, and use this game as a springboard to Cincy and/or Chiefs. -
Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
bobobonators replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed. There aren’t too many great WR FA’s next year. There are a few intriguing options though: Meyers Chark Lazard These are the top 3 in my opinion. And of those id want Chark the most due to his explosiveness. But then we have some intriguing options from the NYG: Slayton Richie James Jr Neither of them should break the bank. I doubt both of them leave NYG but something to monitor. Im still waiting for our Shakir to take hold. The little he’s been used you can tell the guy’s awareness and in-game speed is real. He could be big for us next year. -
Question about the origins of The Bills Maffia

I never really cared for it. Part of me finds it kind of cheesy. It is what it is I suppose.- 87 replies

Steelers radio debates signing Tremaine Edmunds
bobobonators replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like Edmunds and he took a big step in the right direction. But thats a huge amount of $$$ to pay a defensive player that doesn’t 1. Shut down an opposing WR; and 2. Doesnt sack the QB. Can he stop Kelce? Nope. This team would be better off spreading that money around the OL and signing 2 good interior linemen in FA for the cost of Edmunds. -

DJ Chark of the Lions. With Amon and their high draft pick Williams healthy next season, Chark could be expendable. The dude is legit if he stays healthy. I think he’s an UFA. 26 yrs old. -
Keeping Edmunds and Oliver would be huge. I love Poyer but hes expendable.

NFL Week #18 - Around the NFL - Sunday Edition
bobobonators replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Im at the point mentally where I’m over caring where we play and when we play. We have Josh Allen - arguably the best QB in the league. We have Diggs - a legit top 5 WR in the league. We have 2 very solid RB, with Cook starting to come into his own. We have a defense that can make big plays and can, at times, be stout. Above all, we are led by a HC that is nothing but class. We can beat anyone, anywhere. Lets enjoy the ride! -

I personally dislike Vrabel but the dude is an awesome HC. -
Playoff Solutions Assuming they don’t replay the Bengals game.

Same boat here. Either don’t play the game at all or forfeit at this point. Id rather go into the playoffs on normal schedule as the #2/3 seed than emotionally AND physically exhausted on little rest. -

this is actually fairly objective. -

I get what you’re saying, however, you keep avoiding the obvious: it was a mutual decision to not play. The bills didn’t walk off unilaterally. The game won’t be played this week. Which means the game may very well not be played at all. Play week 18 and see where the chips fall. Some of this may be a moot point after Week 18 results. Perhaps playoffs can still be determined with the Bills/Bengals playing one less game than everyone else. If not the NFL may consider pushing back the playoffs 1 week based on today’s announcement (im not sure how else they’d add this game if they’re not doing it this week). -
Allen had plenty of time in the pocket and we were moving the ball easily on them. The Bengals got the ball first. Our defense most always struggles off the bat and settles in. Cook was gaining CHUNKS on the ground. You have no idea how this game would’ve ended. Could’ve easily been 38-35 anyone.

Playoff Solutions Assuming they don’t replay the Bengals game.

Again just playing devil‘S advocate here but why should the Bills forfeit the game or take the loss? Both teams decided to go to the locker room. Has anyone asked the Bengals if they want to play on Wed, risk losing, and then play the Ravens 4 days later with the division on the line? What if both teams mutually decide we aren’t playing this game this week. Period. -

Everyone keeps assuming the bills have to forfeit the game. From what I’m aware - both teams decided to go to the locker room. The Bengals are impacted by this (logistically) as badly as the Bills are. The Bengals have a game at home vs the Ravens on Sunday. Does anyone here think they want to play this game on Wed, possibly lose, and then have to play the Ravens five days later with the division on the line? -

I was saying if we beat the Pats and Raiders beat the Chiefs after Week 18. -

We would have the same amount of wins and one less loss if the Bengals/Bills game is not played and we win next week + Chiefs loss.
