I still expect a big signing to come. The Bills, Jets and Browns all see that there is a huge window right now to jump from the outhouse to the penthouse. This is where you push your chips in for better or worse.
We are more than one player away. He’s also had durability issues. I’d rather roll the dice with a draft pick and keep the money for a known OL, than put both money and draft pick into WR (albeit a very good one).

I think it's clear from this correlation that Duke will be Eric Moulds 2.0
I hate the Pats as much as anyone else, but if the ball had touched him, he would have reacted by going after it. His initial reaction was to back away like it never hit him, and he never flinched... that with the video failing to show that it touched him was enough for me.
Having it on Saturday makes sense for everyone but the host cities and television networks. My guess is this is why it hasn't changed and won't change in the foreseeable future.
What do you think that cost is? The Cowboys gave up a #1 for Amari Cooper - who at the time of the trade was considerably under performing compared to Julio Jones, even though he is 4 years younger I believe. The Cowboys at the time were legitimately a passing threat away from making a playoff run due to their poor division.

In recent memory - these are the 1st round picks that had me screaming at the TV.
Whitner of Ngata
Maybin over Orakpo
CJ Spiller
Moving up for Watkins in a WR deep draft
No memory of protests. People might have felt loyalty to Norwood, but he was never a dominant kicker, whereas Christie was one of the best in the game at the time of the signing.
I'd also like to give Shady some respect for not complaining this season about his lack of usage. When we were looking like an all-time bad offense, I never once heard him complain about his blockers, the play calling, his stats or anything. Off the field he's had issues, but he appears to always be a positive influence in the locker room and on the field.
