  1. Ideally those come tomorrow or Saturday so we move the KC game back and proceed as planned.
  2. Logical - assuming there are no other positives
  3. If it means the rest of our season isn’t in jeopardy for actions we didn’t take.... yes I’ll take a forfeit “W”.
  4. That's fine when you play 60 games or more, but when you only play 16 games one lost opportunity for a win/loss has major ramifications on playoff seeding, draft order, etc.
  5. The line is giving him a great pocket, and he is picking apart defensive backfields. QBs like Aaron Rodgers stick around in this league - QBs like RGIII have smaller windows.
  6. It’s total BS. There’s no reason every game can’t be available at least on a PPV basis if it’s not covered in your local market.
  7. Packers, Barnstormers (Arena), Rams, Giants, Cardinals
  8. I see Miami as. .500 team at best this season. I think they’re league average, but playing better than average competition most weeks (given AFC East schedule this season. Was really impressed with Robinson at RB last night. He played A style like what I thought Moss was going to be for us.
  9. I’m not sure there’s a position on that list I wouldn’t take the KC side of at this point... that can change in a year, but nearly every KC player listed is proven, and we’re working with “potential” at this point. I think we are considerably closer to Houston than KC from an offensive standpoint. KC is steps ahead of everyone. As for comparing Brown to Watkins in production. 1 was the primary target in the passing game while the other was the 3rd option at best. This year Brown will be a 2/3 and in a more similar role to Watkins.
  10. It would push back his contract status a year and gives him no more leverage. He loses his age 25 year - we still have his 5th year option and can franchise him. Is he going to hold out at that point and lose another year or prime health? I don't see the benefit for him from a negotiation standpoint for him.
  11. maybe there’s a compromise. Are you willing to report to public health and quarantine for 14 and/or get tested after attending the game?
  12. Should you have the freedom of choice to drive drunk? I'm all for freedom of choice when the chooser accepts all risk. The problem with drunk driving and not following Covid guidelines is that your personal risk tolerance can have direct impact on others that didn't "choose" for you to take on a risky behavior.
  13. That $50 won't get you very far when every beer requires food too... but thanks for the offer.
  14. Didn't Bank Bros offer $10mil for the naming rights to the Miami Heat's arena? If so, a football stadium should be worth more.
  15. Is DC Defenders off of the table?
  16. Washington Sentinels - Shane Falco at QB
  17. Summary: In high school he was a late developer. Did a semester of JuCo. Wyoming wanted Eric Dungy, but he signed with Syracuse instead. Came to Wyoming and wasn't intended to be the starter, but Senior got injured so he started Week 2. Broke his collar bone 13 plays in and got to sit a season and learn. Came back stronger the next season and won some big games. Mature, smart, good football IQ, good guy, believes in himself and knows who he is and isn't trying to be something different. His arm strength makes up for a lot, but needed work on his footwork and was careless running the ball. He needs to "wrangle in his game". He's currently learning that he doesn't have to do it all himself.
  18. About right - he'll be an "Average" caliber starting NFL QB - something we haven't consistently had in a long time. He will continue to make plays that wow you, and plays that have you scratching your head. For the next 8 years he'll be a Top 15 QB +/- 5 spots in any given year.
  19. I’m holding off, at least for games I had originally circled like Vegas. I’m not convinced the airlines will be as eager to give refunds or credits 5 months from now if games are cancelled/fans not allowed/seats limited. I don’t know how trip insurance will work in the future and I already have flight credits from other cancelled trips I have to use by next winter. stubhub has said it will give credits too, but I don’t really need $1200 in stubhub credit (base price for 4 tickets at this point).
  20. There is a ship on the plate
  21. We get it - He's very good. That said, there's no way you're paying (2) 1sts for a RB. I get that he's a hybrid, but his usage has been unreal for two seasons straight and history tells us that doesn't last forever. Capable RBs are a dime a dozen, and the difference between a capable RB (3rd-4th round) and McAffrey isn't worth two potential salary restricted cornerstones.
  22. The XFL has shown that NFL caliber RBs are a dime a dozen... QBs are not. They also need to pipe in some crowd noise for the TV audience. I know they're not playing in front of large crowds, but it's eery hearing how silent the crowd noise is on the TV broadcast.
  23. I was happy that they identified the guy they wanted and moved up to get him. In the moment, if that had been Rosen instead of Allen, I would have been equally happy. I didn't want them to settle for whoever was left over after passing on Mahomes and Watson the previous year (Jackson was an afterthought). I didn't wan't Mayfield and thought Darnold was the best of the bunch.
  24. Until the owners start losing money, players can and should demand more money. That's the way capitalism works. We as consumers can decide enough is enough, and stop buying tickets, merchandise, apps etc and support the XFL if we're willing to accept a lower quality product. If we stop watching games on TV, their next TV deal will be less, and ownership will be able negotiate lowering the salary cap. Otherwise - accept that they're getting paid a lot more than you or I am, and good for them.
