12/1/2022 - NFL Week #13 - Bills at Pats* - Post game thread
wjag replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
The AfterGlow: 1. Von who? I kid. 2. That drive of 94 yards won the game for Buffalo 3. There was evidence of a run game tonight. 4. Shame that TD bomb to Diggs was called back. 5. Two more significant injuries. I think. Knox and maybe Phillips. 6. Cook’s game is coming around. 7. Dink and Dunk won the night. 8. I’m in the Hamlin was wrongly accused camp. 9. A rushing TD. Yeah. 10. 3-0 in Foxboro and 3-0 on Thursday night. -

He has slid on 6 of 81 rushes for a staggering 7% of the time.. -

12/1/22 Week 13 Bills at Pats* Pregame Thread Primetime on Prime!

Patiently waiting for this one. Someone please cover Jacoby Myers tonight. The Bills D has made WR heros the last three weeks. It's time to put an end to that trend. -

I can't see them doing that. He isn't in game shape or game speed yet. It would be different if he was pulled off a practice squad rather than his sofa. It's probably Gentry again, IMO. -
Given the slate of injuries this year, I have completely given up on the notion that "when the defense gets healthy". The defense will never be healthy IMO. It's just the way of this season. Without sounding too fatalistic, it's Taron Johnson and Shaq Lawson's turn to miss games. Every week is someone new. Next man up or as this season has gone, next men down..

The glaring red hole in the middle of the field is a where a Mr. Cole Beasley used to ply his craft.

Just broke 8 billion last week... NEW YORK (CBS) - The world's population has now reached an estimated 8 billion people. The honor of the 8-billionth person goes to a baby born in the Dominican Republic Tuesday. A projection from the United Nations calls the birth a "milestone in human development."Nov 16, 2022 -
Last week Buffalo got two assists with losses by Baltimore and Tennessee thereby increasing their leads on them. This IS the week it could all change. If Buffalo can win on Thursday it puts pressure on Miami, NYJ and KC who all have tough matchups @SF, @MIN and @CIN..

He was 4-80.

Parker had a good game against Vikings. And Meyers always seems to get open against the Bills.

I know there were many aspects of the last three weeks that have changed perceptions on the team, but I would like to put away the worry beads for a day and just appreciate what we have been treated to, and yes, I mean treated to. Buffalo has a QB with a dinged wing Buffalo has a M*A*S*H unit playing on the OLINE Buffalo lost a day of practice to sickness Buffalo lost a day of practice due to a freak snow storm Buffalo had to figure out a way to travel to Detroit with 24 hours notice in the middle of said freak storm Buffalo had to fly back home and continue the dig out and then turn around and fly back four days later all the while installing a game plan Buffalo played 3 games in 12 days with all of that going on and 4 games in 19 days. Buffalo lost starts from Morse, Miller, Epenesa, Rousseau, Elam, Poyer, Edmunds, Milano, Dawkins during that stretch (incredible to type that) Buffalo played 3 of 4 on the road and next week it will be 4 of 5 And having said all that, every game has been competitive. Buffalo lost a couple, but if it wasn't for that crazy sequence vs Minnesota, they would be 3-1 during that stretch. Seriously, how many teams in the NFL could go through that stretch, be in every game and still be 2-2? Every Bills game, and I mean every Bills game is now must see TV.

Interesting tidbits and random thoughts you may find interesting

I was commenting on this to my son during the game. The offense is working, but it just seems so vanilla. -
I didn't blame Josh..

The AfterGlow: 1. Miller and Dawkins going down takes the shine off of this one. 2. Dane Jackson really, really needs to turn his head around on coverages. 3. That throw.. OMG... That throw. Triple coverage.. 4. Another brutal red zone turn over. 5. When it mattered most Josh delivered. 6. I sat in stunned silence when Bass missed the XP. Turned into a blessing in disguise. 7. Oliver played one of his best games as a pro. The safety was such an enormous play in the game. 8. There was a McKenzie game plan today, but curiously not a Knox one. 9. The OLINE is a M*A*S*H unit again 10. I would imagine folks in Miami had their Thanksgiving ruined. 11. Sunday -- Bills Win, Tuesday -- Sabres Win, Wednesday -- Sabres Win, Thursday -- Bills Win... Nice week. 12. On to NE.. Hopefully with Edmunds and Rousseau and Morse back...

I was tired of him apologizing for Allen’s arm. Said it way too many times.

Okay, I'll bite...did the Bass missed XP actually help us out?
wjag replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall
I made the argument to my son that in retrospect it did. Detroit would have sucked all the clock out instead of playing for the FG. I was stunned when he missed it, but it did change the game and what the Lions needed to do. -
Let’s see Mahommes throw one backwards through his legs.
