I want to see Marrone embarrass himself out of the league just as much as the next guy for the way he disrespected Buffalo. But the fact is there are plenty of positives in the jags offensive numbers Marrone can point to on the interview trail. He can even present himself as a miracle worker. 32 to 10 in scoring offense. Bortles up more than 20 points in rating and near the top the league (35) in TD passes with Marrone and Hackett.

The "leak" here is really interesting and makes sense. The only way to motivate Mario for this one game is the leak. He needs to play well since he's being showcased. If he plays incredible - 3 sacks or something - we might even get a trade offer. 11M is a good price for a top 5 pass rusher which is what he was.

Will be impossible to attract a top free agent with a 2nd year QB and an offense that likes to throw 18 times a game. May be stuck with what we have, hope clay becomes the effective #2 and try to develop someone from scratch.

At one time he was the only guy for us who could step up and make a play. If this is the best we have had it sums up the last 16 years pretty well.

Mario Williams played up to his contact, at its time the richest in NFL history, each of his first three years under three different coordinators. He singlehandedly gave the team and this city respect. In my view its an indictment on Rex that Rex did not get more from Mario. Rex is the only coach to not get the best out of Mario.

Russell Wilson has always been underestimated. The Seahawks model has been to put most of their money in Defence. Their success with a low cost offense has been due to in large part to Wilson protecting the ball and making many plays out of broken play situations.

I like the current rule that you have to complete the catch all the way to the ground. Gives DBs another chance to make a play. The league is better the more DBs are given a chance to defend. One of the best rule changes in recent years is the force out. Now the DB can carry the coddled wideout straight out of bounds and is credited with a pass defended.

I don't know if I agree that Tyrod would be everywhere if he was in NY. Fitz is having his career year and he is seen as, well, Fitz. A journeyman having a career year.

Guy has given us a chance to win every game he's played. Our D has been a total disaster compared to the expectations. That we are still in it is only because Tyrod has exceeded expectations.
