    Ironically, as bad as our D was getting shredded it was respect for our D that prevented NE from going ball control to run out the clock. They could not slow the game down out of respect for our D. That's how we got back in the.game.

    That rocket arm and extended play ability are a potentially lethal combination - Being able it throw a 30-40 yard dart on a broken play when a receiver breaks free for a second leaves no time for a reaction with the ball in the air.

    I believed and confidently called a franchise changing big win to everyone I know. Haven't called a win since '92.

    The jets are way better across the board that the bills ever were with Fitz. We were Wannyized in D Fitz last year - the 600 - 600 back to back weeks are unforgettable. I think Fitz has lost a step but he has incrementally become more careful with the ball since he was a bill. I don't blame him for letting his # 1 make a play in traffic last night.

    Except for integrity it does not make much sense to play up to your monster guaranteed D contract like Mario has (until yesterday). It's much more rational to just pocket the cash study investing for five years and save yourself from body and head damage. When you are a QB it makes sense to play for another big contract at 35. Not for a defender.

    It would interesting to know whether league rules prohibit hiring former players of an opponent as consultants just to pump them for info about the playbook. Would be a lot easier than making a roster spot.

    Watching Julio Jones dominate the other night made me wonder whether Sammy can ever get to that level. His lack of size has always bothered me and made me wonder whether he is really worth a 4th overall. Julio is 6'3 230. The other forces of nature Calvin and Dez are evn bigger.

    I think it's intended to be annoying but in a strategic way. It's designed to be most annoying to the defense since the bell reminds them of their ineptitude. The defense is more likely to be goaded into losing their composure trying to shut up the damn bell.

    How do they determine the waiver claim order. Is it by last years record all year?

    He's a north south runner. That's what you need in the NFL especially of you want to win with ball control manageable 3rd downs and defense. I can't stand NFL backs who dance around the backfield and break a long one once in a while to get their average up.
