  1. For what teams are spending $20m on today they would be crazy not to re-sign rivers. Way better than dalton, tennenhill, Wilson etc. He's a legitimate franchise QB.
  2. I think the light will turn on for EJ
  3. Last year was more a reflection of Flacco's often overlooked hall of fame level ability than Steve Smith's.
  4. You cannot be too rich, too thin, or have too many playmaking reasonably priced corners.
  5. 6,761 days and counting without a franchise QB
  6. I think this actually makes Brady more likable. We all suffer from cable companies and cell phone companies reaching for every last dime in our pockets. He experiences it on a grander scale.
  7. The D did not suffer at all when Kyle Williams was out last year. It suffered severely when Dareus was out. That's all I'm saying.
  8. Ok, he was bad. But he's family and it was just preseason so it didn't really matter.
  9. Assuming Freddie hangs on that means bryce "I lost the kc game" brown on the block. Question is can we get a 6th for him. We paid a 4th.
  10. Pony up 3 yr $26M $15M guaranteed for Orton. Price will only get higher closer to opening day. Guy had a 90 rating with no running game no reps and Hackett/Marrone to overcome.
  11. It's amazing to me how people are talking about Orton as if he's retired. He played the retired card last year and got to skip the whole camp. Then without any preparation he puts up a respectable season on a team with a junior high offensive coordinator. He signs for 7m this year on a playoff team that loses its starter in preseason.
  12. did hambden play?
  13. I think cowherd is terrific. His opening monologues are often genius. Don't understand the hate on cowherd. He may be a bit arrogant but that's an essential part of the act.
  14. Chris Hairston - not sure he was not on this list. Always thought he was a good swing tackle and possibly more. Still has a lot of tread on the tire. His play can only improve with Marrone out of the picture.
  15. Does nothing but bring back painful memories of the 88 AFC title game when Bruce owned Munoz all day and then got that bogus Facemask call negating another sack.
  16. The emperors new clothes. Seems to me that in a historic free agent year for pro bowl RBs on the open market at a time when RBs are historically undervalued, the Eagles picked up a top tier RB to replace the one they lost while also adding a pro bowl linebacker. Maybe someone can explain to me how giving up Kiko for shady is better than keeping Kiko and adding demarco a North South runner who wee need to set up 3rd and 1.
  17. I don't miss living in fear that every top draft pick was going to be a DB.
  18. Bill Polian in NFL Films' "caught in the draft" for the 85 draft provided a remarkable revisionist history n Stephenson. Polian said the team leadership all considered trading the stockpile of picks for proven talent that would save everyones job. According to Polian, Stephenson put his foot down in the interest of principle for the long term benefit of the franchise and said they were going to rebuild the right way through the draft even if it costs us our jobs.
  19. Chuck Dickerson. The bafoon who lost the superbowls.
  20. Donte whither for not being Ngata
  21. I have to say that in spite of all the schedule screwing the bills have endured over the years the team has to have the best historical schedule of bye weeks in the league. Year after year the bye comes smack dab in the middle of the season. Let's celebrate that. I can only remember one year ever when we didn't draw the bye right in the middle.
  22. The real interesting thing about the article is not what spiller said its that graham a buffalo reporter followed up on an outgoing player for a story. I'm not sure I've seen this level of digging for an NFL story but it goes to show there is an infinite demand for information out there.
  23. He was Marroned. Used to be a great insurance swing tackle.
