  1. Past hour
  2. I see your problem you're watching the Colts Twitter feed instead of the Bills, easy mistake to make.
  3. And you wonder why they are not representing us. From our pockets directly to the investor class via supply side stimulus directly to the companies that are his biggest donors. Fascism is the merger of state and corporate power.
  4. I've seen people suggest Jesus really was woke because he was out among the castoffs of his day. Yea because they were the ones that needed the miracles to be normal, DUH.
  5. 32 reps on the bench and 38 inch vertical
  6. What does Coleman have in common with Davis outside of being bigger than average? I don’t see anything else.
  7. Anyone see how fast the Texas receivers look at mini camp (Mitchell and Worthy)? Mitchell looks like an absolute steal. Pats doubled up at WR with Polk and Baker. Coleman wears discount yellow bubble jacket is the only headline I've seen so far out of Buffalo but we'll see.
  8. I'm willing to bet he's going to get better offers from other teams.
  9. Pretty athletic kid. Good for him. Hopefully he gets a shot somewhere.
  10. Today
  11. I understand. Maybe that is so, or perhaps Beane is a sly dog, and has another plan he isn't saying. It might be boring literalism. I'm still hoping he's playing poker, because I don't like the WR room, even though I am high on Kincaid, and was one of the few on this board who championed him well before the draft. There were like 3 of us, we lit metaphorical cigars afterwards to celebrate our success. I tried the same thing this year hoping to get McConkey drafted, but I guess it was a one-time magic. I saw your latest response to Badol. Fantastic if you are correct. Seems overly optimistic to me.
  12. Probably be too afraid to speak the truth anymore, for fear of the mob backlash, and losing endorsements… Sad, when people are too afraid to speak truth, something has gone severely wrong in the society…
  13. Good. One box checked. All he needs to do to make the final roster is 1) Convince McDermott he trusts the process, and 2) Spend some quality time as a member of the Carolina Panthers.
  14. Priceless! The British representative so eloquently illustrates what so many Americans, on both sides of the aisle, have been trying to say for a long time…👍 Trump shouldn’t even have a chance at winning the presidency if only the Democrats did what most Americans wanted…Therefore, they really bring this tight battle on themselves…👍
  15. One way I look at the performance of a defense is by the number of stops it generates over the course of a game. (With a stop defined as a punt or a turnover.) Look at what happened during the year of 13 seconds. The Chiefs' first playoff game was against the Steelers. The Steelers defense forced six defensive stops. Their next game was against the Bills. The Bills defense forced two stops: one in the first half, the other in the second. Their third playoff game was against the Bengals. The Bengals defense forced six stops, including a stop in overtime. (The Bills defense was also given a chance to generate a stop in overtime, but we all know how that went.) All this happened when the Chiefs still had Tyreek Hill. Joe Burrow and the Bengals were barely good enough to get the win against the Chiefs, with those six defensive stops. Josh Allen's defense gave him only two stops--one third of what Burrow received. With those two stops, Allen took his team to within 13 seconds of winning. Under McDermott, the Bills defense has never generated more than two defensive stops, in a playoff game against the Chiefs or the Bengals. In the most recent Super Bowl, the 49ers defense forced seven stops against the Chiefs. That's 3.5 times better than McDermott's best. After the McDermott/Frazier soft zone/prevent defense inevitably collapses against the Chiefs in the playoffs, do you know what we hear? We hear a song and dance about how Allen will never win a postseason game against Mahomes. We hear that Mahomes is better, which is why he always wins. Nothing at all is said about the fact that Josh Allen's defense is only 1/3 as effective as the other postseason defenses Mahomes often faces.
  16. A 4th round pick for a short yardage back though?
  17. I'm not necessarily prognosticating just saying IF Davis supplants Cook as the main back, I have no qualms with it. I see where you're coming from with the seeming lack of a plan and the seeming trial and erros. If Cook remains the number one and Davis is most the third and shorts and goaline back we could still have a "fast" offense. But who knows. I don't think McD is an offensive guru so let's see what Brady does.
  18. No. It isn't. Drama often comes in two forms. 1) An exaggeration of facts. 2) An exaggerated conclusion. It's factually accurate to say that Allen only has a limited number of years left before his window starts closing. Nextmanup's conclusion or implication is that the Bills should treat each of those years as precious. If a player would decrease the team's chances of winning a Super Bowl during that window, the Bills might want to think twice about keeping that player. Clearly, the Bills had more and bigger problems in the playoff game against the Chiefs than Tyler Bass. I don't think anyone here is trying to hang that loss on him. But it is reasonable to ask, was Bass part of the problem, or was he part of the solution? When Bass is on his game, he's one of the top kickers in the league. No doubt. I'm sure we all want him to get back to being what he once was. But how much time do we give him? If he fails to improve, there's absolutely a chance he messes with Allen's window. As a Bills fan, I'm well aware of what it's like to have a postseason game come down to the final play, and what it's like to lose that game by a single point due to a missed 47 yard field goal attempt.
  19. Wasn’t Shakir a starter last year?
  20. Your Ted Washington analogy doesn’t work with a WR group that has 2-4 players spread across the field on every play. Neither does your comment that our receivers are career complimentary players. Samuel is a career starter. Shakir is a 3rd year player who was finally moved into the game plan until week 7 and will be a 1st year starter. Once Shakir got into the lineup he became a serious weapon with 600+ yards on only 45 targets (with 17 explosive plays). This is 850 yards pace in a full seasons. Kincaid, once he was fully inserted also in week 7, also paced at around 850 yards. Considering their youth to pigeon hole them as “complimentary” players is extremely premature. Kincaid is on his way to being our Kelce. Last I looked Kelce was a player that demanded “extra attention.”
  21. And being a 5th round pick, unburdened by expectations, he was able to learn on the job and eventually became a 1,000 yard receiver in the NFL for the first time in year 4.
  22. He has interest. I thought you weren’t interested in arguing?
  23. Yeah, McDermott goes to the Scouting Combine but he has no interest in scouting the players. Got it.
