  1. Past hour
  2. It's sad, but the man was 75. If it wasn't this, it would have been something else. There are no good endings.
  3. Upside based on what? Draft position? As a pro, he's never flashed a trait that makes him special. He is very good against the run, but that's not really the defining trait you're looking to get out of your #1 DE in today's game. As a pass rusher or playmaker, I don't see the potential for him to be a difference maker out there.
  4. I’d like to say Shakir but he’s probably like the 3rd or 4th option in the passing game and I wouldn’t say he’s coming out of the shadows. He came out of the shadows last season. So I’ll say Elam. I think he’ll have to play quite a bit. Benford isn’t exactly the most reliable when it comes to being available. Epenessa is a better pass rusher than Rousseau
  5. What? Rousseau has far more upside as a pass rusher and is already elite against the run.
  6. I think it was pff on twitter that gave their best picks in every round and SVP was rated as their best pick for the 5th round Everything I've read on him is promising and could definitely see him stepping in as the starting C on day 1. Which will allow Edwards to keep his role as the OL in 6 OL sets, which I thought was a role he did a helluva job in
  7. Shakir is definitely a must and had an extremely promising end to the season. I absolutely see a budding star in the making Last 5 games had 25 targets, 23 receptions, 264 yards for 52.8 yards per game, 2 TDs (both in the playoffs). Not elite #s but solid for only 5 targets a game in that stretch. Think he's at least part of the reason they dealt Diggs cause Bills view him as a guy who'll put up big #s in year 3 with an increased workload.
  8. Kaiir Elam. If you have the physical tools and the work ethic to be a top NFL corner it will eventually come together. He just turned 23 entering his third year so those writing his obituary here may be in for a bit of a surprise. I think either Douglas or Bernford will get injured at some point and Elam will play well enough to force this staff to keep him on the field.
  9. Today
  10. AJ Epenesa is my pick. I was dead certain he'd get a 4 year deal somewhere averaging 12-13M a year based on the flashes he showed with limited opportunities. Still just 25 coming off back to back 6.5 sack seasons, he'll have a much bigger role this year if the Bills don't make a splash acquisition. He was a far better player than Von Miller last season, and hopefully the Bills cut ties with him or keep him limited to a reserve role unless he's truly back. Epenesa has his limitations, but he's got a very high motor and nose for the ball that guys like Milano and Bernard have. He'll never be an elite pass rusher, but he could be one of those key pieces to a championship defense. I think he offers something far more special than what I've seen out of Rousseau so far.
  11. Who on the Bills roster will come out of the shadows and have a huge impact on the coming season?? I don't know the answer, but I know who the Bills need it to be.....Shakir. If he can have a Bernard-like impact on the Offense this year, the Bills O will not miss a beat after the departure of Diggs. What other players do you think have the potential to make the leap from nobody to somebody this season??
  12. Okay, that was depressing. I just finished watching the video and reading the article. First, the numbers. I counted 94 targets for Coleman, with 58 catches. A 62% catch rate. Also four drops, and one fumble after the catch. Coleman's non-catches were usually because of a defender being right there, breaking up the pass. Also Coleman's QB, Travis, threw a decent share of inaccurate passes. If a pass was far from Coleman, I didn't count it against his targets. From the article: "[Coleman] caught only 22.7% of his contested targets in 2023." That was consistent with my subjective impression. There were times when Coleman made impressive contested catches. But far more often, when a defender was right there with Coleman, that defender was able to use his athleticism to break up the pass. After watching a player, you get a subjective feel for him. This is purely my opinion, but my feel for Coleman was that there was nothing special there. Let's say you're using a scale from 1 - 10. If a guy is special as a college player, you label him a 9 or a 10. If he's a JAG, maybe you label him a 3. On a scale like that, I'd put Coleman at about a 5. A step up from a JAG, to where you'd say he was better than average for a college WR. But just watching him, it's not as though I ever thought, this guy's star shines so brightly, he's clearly got a great career waiting for him at the next level. By no means am I writing Coleman off. If he improves, particularly with his route running, he could be a solid player for the Bills. That being said . . . if we had to do that draft over again, and if I was the one making the call, I'd take Ladd McConkey. 3 catches on 8 targets, for 21 yards, means someone messed up. That's 2.6 yards per pass attempt: a truly abysmal result. If you see a number like that, sometimes the culprit is the QB, for throwing inaccurate passes. Other times it's the WR, for not catching passes he should have caught. But I don't know how the culprit could be the offensive coordinator. If Diggs is lined up in the backfield or running sweeps, that shouldn't push his catch percentage below 50%, right? You reach a point where the QB throws the ball, and the WR catches it. Or doesn't catch it, in the particular case of Diggs.
  13. Appears the Bills have let Lawson go … Touhill headed towards the PS
  14. I don't care if it's Alec Anderson lol I want the best guy to play.. I'm just pretty sure vpg won't win it this year Just my opinion
  15. I feel the same. We feel like a completely new team even with Allen. The F/A's we picked up sub-par and the draft picks appear to be "Hopes".
  16. Old habits die hard especially in high pressure situations. Brady deserves a lot of the blame for the play call imo.
  17. I'd take Lawson over this guy any day.
  18. Why would take taron Johnson off the field on obvious passing downs?
  19. I really hope Kingsley Jonathan #59 gets a real shot to make the final roster!
  20. Yeah, by saying I expect McGovern to start sounds like VPGs dad lol I think I was the one rooting for the best player to play, I don’t care who it is, McGovern great, VPG great.
  21. He's in the Pantheon of great Bills stars like Zach Ertz, Jeremy Maclin and DeAndre Hopkins!!😁
  22. Lmao there are plenty of great college players who don't become great pros he has a lot of things he need to work on I root for the name on the front buddy.. you sound like his dad
  23. Really odd that the Chaya Nazi had no comment about a sexual predator hosting another sexual predator on stage during his rally.
  24. He’s not an experienced NFL center, actually he has no NFL center experience is the point, I’m sure the coaches are comfortable with McGovern playing there, all I’m saying is he doesn’t have to beat out an entrenched veteran NFL center, he has to beat out a dude who’s shown zero at the position. As I said, the rookie is competing from behind for sure… but shocked that a guy who hasn’t played center since college years ago gets beat out by a rookie who’s played the last 3 years in the SEC as a team captain ? thats only a shock if you’re McGovern’s mom lol.
