  1. Past hour
  2. The position “inflexibility” is not going to impact the Bills much because McGovern can flex out to guard so having a “pure” backup center is fine as it’s not severely impacting the bench. As if there a center or guard injury then Van Pran steps in. Right now with the addition of Van Pran and Grabel in the draft and the addition of Collin’s in free agency the depth along the offensive line looks better. I think the projected top 9 is pretty set. The starting 5 is Dawkins-Edwards-McGovern-Torrence-Brown Then the bench is likely 4 out of the following 5. Van Pran, Van Denmark, Alec Anderson, Collin’s and Grabel I think barring injury I think they carry 9 and unless Grabel shows out fantastically I think they maybe put Grabel on IR and “red-shirt” him like they did Shorter.
  3. Ok I understand what you are saying now. Yes I agree that the new stadium will be a much better experience and have upgrades over the current stadium. The aesthetics are (in my personal opinion)… rough. But design is subjective (as you mentioned), so i’m sure there are people who like it.
  4. Much rather trade for Terrace Marshal as our 4/5 WR. Won’t have to give up more than a 7th. Perfect fit.
  5. Wow, I think anyone watching that video will come away with the exact same conclusions.
  6. Yes, we agree, it’s really hard to have complex discussions in a chat room. My point is that you seem fixated on the aesthetic architectural look of the new stadium, which you are perfectly free not to like. Architecture is a very subjective field. You learn it very early in your career. My point is that whether you like the look of the stadium or not, I believe the major focus of the design, is and always has been, on the game day ‘experience’…which is NOT the architecture. It’s the difference between what a place feels like and what it looks like. I’m guessing (and I’m only guessing) you’ll find the new stadium a massive upgrade in the concourses, restrooms, food choices, technological connectivity, and even things like Buffalo/Bills centric art, displays, etc. Does that make more sense?
  7. I wasn’t interested in using the draft capital and cap space on DHop, but now that we drafted Coleman, I’m much more open to it as I agree he would be an excellent mentor.
  8. I know the Chiefs are this week, and pretty sure I heard Tasker mention the Bills are next week. Not sure exact dates.
  9. One option off the board... OBJ is still out there. Maybe a blockbuster trade for Aiyuk or Metcalf. Mack Hollins will not be the #2 outside WR. Mack Hollins will not be the #2 outside WR.
  10. Good shot at it Small nit you by DT Jonathan, I assume you mean Kingsley Jonathan. He's a DE. Couple of quick comments: Hamler I think has returned like, 2 or 3 punts his rookie year. When he has more years in the league than punt returns, I don't think he's our PR. The Smurf CB we drafted (Hardy) has punt returner and gunner experience, so there's that. And of course.....Coleman can return punts. heh.
  11. Bills are hilarious sometimes. Last year at this time we didn’t know we had 2 starters and they do nothing at LB. This year they are loading up at LB. So weird. Maybe they are planning to run more 3 LB sets. But, I remember hearing how the new kickoff rule makes having a lot of LBs more likely. You know how the Bills love special teams. This is probably it.
  12. I don’t doubt the Bills would consider bringing Hyde back if he wants to come back. However, he’s either gotta attempt to be a full time player or retire. I don’t think the Bills are going to rotate safeties. I think it’s a 90% chance Hyde retires and I would bank most of the remaining 10% that if Hyde comes back it’s gonna be in season if an injury happens. There’s not going to be big money for Hyde and I just don’t think with the wear and tear on his body and his age (34 this year) he’s going to want to go through camp and a full season. Take the summer and first 6-8 weeks of the season off and come back if needed.
  13. Unlike almost everyone else, I did NOT read the magazine for the articles. 😛
  14. I think this whole idea of it being a transition year or a rebuild is a bit over blown. Returning 8 starters on the offense and 7 or 8 (depending how you count Douglas) on defense doesn't sound to me like a major upheaval. I thought Morse was reaching the end of the line and it was time to move on. Diggs and Davis were not the weapons that they needed to be, especially for the last nine games. The team also didn't need the ongoing Diggs drama. Floyd had good games but faded some down the stretch, showing some of his age. White's major injuries and missed games made him a non-factor for two seasons. Poyer and Hyde were not terrible but had clearly lost a step. They remained somewhat effective because of their intelligence and experience. The Bills need the new receiver group to collectively deliver good results, Miller to be at least as good as Floyd, and the safeties to be at least as steady as the older versions of Poyer and Hyde. Moving on from Morse will probably prove to be a nonevent. I don't think any of these things are out of the realm of reasonable possibility.
  15. They still have $8 million or so they can grab anytime from Josh. They have the cap to do almost anything, but again it takes pushing more back. Also takes Pegula dropping more cash. I’m not sure what type of mindset they have this year. Right now we’re looking at being one of the lowest cash spending teams in the league this year. Our roster reflects it.
  16. GREAT player; definitely a cheap shot artist though.
  17. A great post because we share the same thoughts about the future. We'll be OK with all the new faces!
  18. The fact that they moved on from Diggs THIS YEAR and not next year tells me they decided to right the salary cap situation all in 1 season. Take the hit once and be ready to go forward with a Josh Allen led version 2.0 team next year. So I don't expect much to happen this year, as apparently the organization doesn't either. The problem with that is when we fail to achieve anything yet again, Beane and McDimwit can sell it as "part of the plan". If McD is NEVER going to get on the hot seat and get shipped out of here, forget about having a winning program in place during the useful portion of Allen's career. A real shame and waste of a historic opportunity.
  19. I don’t think we make the Super Bowl this year but we will be fun to watch. Probably lose in the divisional round again
  20. Watching his highlights it seems he never had a good QB. Looked very promising rookie year
  21. Was that because Milano was out or were we using 3 while he was healthy?
