  1. Past hour
  2. It looks like a decent draft, but nothing super special. There are a bunch of good right hand shot defenseman projected to go in the range of our pick (something we definitely need). But I am also hoping they look into trading the pick for help now. I don’t want to see them give up #11 overall for a bottom 6 player or something. But if the right deal is there I hope they trade the pick. Like you said, the time is now to win.
  3. And yet all he does is win wherever he is, with whatever QB he has. I'll take that coach 7 days a week over lunchpail McClappy.
  4. I'll take Spot The Outlier for $1000 Alex. Fresno State, St. Bonaventure, Columbia. What is one school condones and supports anti-semitic terrorists, the other two don't.
  5. Not much in Hartford. Lived in Bristol for 2 years. Literally a quarter mile away from ESPN HQ. Went to the street and looked over and could see the satellite dishes. Was only in Hartford for a Whalers game (when I went to interview for my job) and to see the Sabres vs Whalers. Got to sit 2 rows behind the Sabres bench because there was a snowstorm. Went to see the USS Nautilus in New London and Mystic Seaport. Basketball HOF is only 30-40 miles north in Springfield, MA.
  6. The real issue, and I know I'm gonna get flack for saying this, is that Allen is one of the big reasons the team has to claw back from behind to begin with. Sure, he can get credit for scoring late against the Patriots, sending us to OT against the Jets, or getting us in FG range against the Broncos, but then you'd have to point out how Josh threw us out of those games in the first place.
  7. Things we knew early on, but were called “conspiracy theories” from those who made billions from Covid policy lies: The virus came from Wuhan Lockdowns didn’t work Masks didn’t work Keeping kids out of school was dumb Masking children was cruel Social distancing was pointless The vaccines didn’t stop transmission The vaccines had deadly and serious side effects Boosters didn’t work Keeping us locked in our houses made things worse “Trust the science” was a lie used by tyrants The WHO, CDC, and FDA are corrupt
  8. Regardless of race, I think it would be beneficial to interview for ANY position. Get your name out there, make contacts, acquire experience. There are limited opportunities.
  9. That's an awesome story. Just picturing everything in my head gave me a big rush. I was just a toddler. But life in that era and through the 70's was so different then today's world. Very cool stuff. Speaking of Ben Davidson, I was partying on Rush Street in Chicago in the winter of 1987 after graduating college. Me and some buddies were drinking at a bar and we met big Ben Davidson. Took pictures with him while he was promoting his Miller Lite Schtick. Huge man. And very friendly. Great memories.
  10. Striker was 6' 220 and maxed out at 9 sacks in college. Pretty different than 6'1 250 with 16 sacks in one year to lead all of FCS. Also has an unusually long wingspan for his height
  11. Ok but the original point was with 5 minutes left. My guess would be he’s already got the lead by then.
