How much better is the Ravens team on paper than the Bills?

Are you sure about that? Allen averages under a yard less per attempt (0.7) than Jackson — but has 33 more TDs in 300 less rushing attempts. That one yard difference is primarily short yardage situations, which Lamar Jackson is not suited for. I’d say he’s much better rushing the football in key scoring or short-yardage situations than Lamar Jackson. Lamar has more elusiveness and “video game” highlights when escaping pressure — but when you need a yard or two, it’s no contest. Josh Allen can hold his own with Jackson in the open field, as well. -
John Harbaugh's legacy of blown leads

Ravens front office has gotta be pissed…I feel like they put a historically incredible team together every year and they oftentimes can’t even get by the team that can’t get by the chiefs lol -
Cowboys last year too (not included in the list on the link).

Almost blew a huge lead in that SB win too.

I have found it funny that lead into the game was that Ravens have a better roster AND they circled this game so will give it their best shot. Then after the game its still Ravens gave it their best shot for 3.5 quarters and have a better roster. I just dont understand how you can think they are clearly a better roster and played better for 3.5 quarters but lost. Something has to give there. -
I'll admit I was a fan of the Office from the start and not sure of this. I saw the previews and was really concerned. I streamed episode 1 and was feeling ok about it but not rushing to see episode 2 but let it run. I'll have to rewatch it as still not sure. Maybe it feels like missing the heart of The Office or subtle jokes that got me laughing hard. Thoughts?

I guess more the point is that these teams all lost.

I would like to see the percentage of passing plays in the 1st half increase a bit. Not entirely, but enough to get all of our pass catchers rolling early. Winning like we did against the Ravens definitely isn't sustainable. On defense, I would hope, to see more 3rd down stops happen. It was a problem last year and still is. A few things need to happen to right the ship.

The defense with 4 All Pros gave up 41 points. Bills oline and Wr corp is better. D line is a push leaning Buffalo. Saftey play Baltimore and Corner room is a push. They are closer than you think. Media and PFF say one thing but the results on the field say another. In the last 2 games what play did Baltimores defense make? They gave up more points, made less plays but are better because they have a cool black bird on their helmet? -

That's all fluff. Lamar is significantly more prolific running if we're just talking facts backed by stats. There's not a statistical argument that Allen is better than or even equal to Jackson rushing the football. -

Because they traded Hollywood Brown to Arizona they would have had two firsts that year so who knows how they would have maneuvered it. They ended up with an elite center in Linderbaum and an elite safety in Hamilton. Had they just landed those players that would have been a fantastic draft but they also got several other role players and starters in that draft. Isaiah Likely, Jordan Stout their punter, and Daniel Faalele were also taken in that draft. They ended up with 4 starters and a punter from that draft... -

The problem is not a talent disparity, but a scheme disparity. Buffalo's defense was constructed to be small and fast, so they are naturally going to struggle against big and powerful run games. It's actually funny when you think about it. This team was constructed with beating the Chiefs in mind. Yet we can't get past them in the playoffs to save our lives. The Ravens are easily the worst matchup for us in the entire NFL. And they have now lost two in a row to us, and are 0-2 against the Bills in the playoffs. -
Literally, yes. One of those guys is now a top 5 interior lineman entering his 3rd season.

Lamar does not possess the power or physical running game that Allen does. Not even close. Show me a play where Jackson is dragging a couple of NFL defenders for a first down like Allen did in Dallas a few years ago. Or stiff-arming an NFL linebacker into the turf like Allen did against Kyle Van Noy when he was with Miami. Jackson is 6’2/205. Allen is 6’5/237. Allen has enough speed and elusiveness to at least be in the same world as Lamar. He’s essentially a hybrid of Jackson/Henry. Allen also has more arm talent at the position. Lamar Jackson is “Michael Vick 2.0”. The NFL has never seen a "Josh Allen" before. Both are all-world talents, but Josh Allen is “the guy”. -

If it continues the way it did yesterday, yeah I do. Ben Johnson isn't tethered to him and he isn't going to waste his head coaching opportunity on a QB he didn't pick and doesn't believe in. Williams has time to prove me wrong but as of not I see way too many flaws that haven't gotten any better since week 1 last year. -
Can we, somehow, make this about McDermott and why we should have hired Ben Johnson this past year??
