  1. Past hour
  2. Fixed for accuracy! Which flame will burn brightest!!! There's an old NFL saying, "If you have 2 quarterbacks you have none." In the Jets' case it's more accurate to say, "If you have no quarterbacks you have none." Is that the number of zeroes you intended? I feel like you're off by one... It would make more sense if they were on SNL.
  3. Yes. I mean in an emotional and leadership sense not Allen making plays and coaches scheming things up. I guess the better way to word it would be this game is on the leadership of team. Off day for the team, flip on the Saints and by half time they all think it's going to be easy. Keeping the eyes on the prize and dismantling the Saints will either be a hard thing they make look easy or an easy thing they make look hard.
  4. What all these names tell me is that the Hall of Fame is really the “Hall of very good”. I wish it was really reserved for the best of the best. Meaning, generational players.
  5. 2014, the Andrew Luck Colts. But those Colts were nowhere near as good as the Manning Colts
  6. I’m really hopeful that beane can snag a speed outside wr before deadline from one of the bottom feeders. Trade a first trade a second. It’s gotta happen. Cuz we’re not drafting one
  7. Better than Trump did at the supposedly solemn Kirk ceremony, where he celebrated his hate? And got big applause
  8. Anyone care to explain why this player's picture is paired with this tweet? I am missing the significance of it. 🤔
  9. You sir win... I was just gonna quote this!😆
  10. The game was close, we can trust the floor of white, we can't afford divisional games. I think the Saints, Falcons, and Panthers will offer the Bills a chance to work new folds in the process and initiate new players.
  11. i cannot imagine the spooge in the shoutbox claiming moral victory and galivanting they finally can show trump who is boss because a hack comic who was funny 20 years ago is going to go back on the air and not back down from bashing the modern day MLK Jr. and his assassination. where can we send rags so they can clean up their mess? i am glad i am banned from there for mocking Fetterman, who as i understand it they now hate... poor shoutbox.
  12. That's nice. Not nearly as how completely not amazed I am that you reliably consume media that completely ignores the trans part of trans violence incidents and that you in turn then reliably post this: i don't think the shooters in either city were down played. i saw everything play out on common media. there didn't seem to be any question who they were to me at least.
  13. quibbling a bit, but he currently only has one superbowl. kc traded him before their first back to back year
  14. I think Jonathan Taylor goes first ballot. Barring injury he will end up with 7500 rush yards this year and wont be 27 til mid January. I could see him with 10000 before 30 years old and ultimatly 12000 - 13000 rush yards and 300 receptions for 3000 by the end of his career.
  15. Agreed. I can see both arguments. But I stand by KC potentially missing the playoffs outright.
  16. The ravens are winning their division no matter what so I think it is a pretty clear answer that we want the ravens to beat the Chiefs
  17. I’m hoping they have him in on man to man speed wr for matchup purposes / spot duty initially. Sink or swim. then he can go play zone on the boundary and eventually replace Tre although. Not gonna lie. Tre is playing well with physicality. He’s making tackles and hits
  18. Hill was a key player on two championship teams and was arguably the best WR in football for at least 3 seasons. (And in case you didn’t watch the game on Thursday, he still has a lot left in the tank, but his QB sucks) There is no planet in which Reggie Wayne deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as Tyreek Hill, longevity stats aside..
  19. We've put up 30+ points a game, all three games this season. Last season opposing QBs could set up lawn chairs and sip lemonade waiting for receivers to get open. I think we're okay on offense, and understand the focus on defense. Just gotta get healthy on D.
  20. Puka’s styke of play could leave him on the IR more and more often as he gets older. It will be interesting to see his career develop because he does have the skills to be a HOFer.
  21. For KC to get the tiebreaker over the Bills they would have to win their division. At this point the Bills are a heavy favorite to win the AFCE. KC is going to have a hard time winning their division this year. If they make the playoffs as a WC and the Bills win the division then any potential playoff game is in OP and won't matter who wins the regular season game between them.
  22. Truly i hope it doesn't. The game has changed so much in the last 20 years. You got floppers like Allen and Mahomes and when you touch them its 15 free yards while back in the day you could obliterate the qb and the refs wouldn't even look. In the next 10 yrs how do we know we aren't going to be playing 2 hand touch with flags around our waist 😪
  23. and that has happened already with Groot. All im saying is be patient, the "glory numbers" will come.
  24. Good call with Lane- forgot about him
  25. I think the % of 3 LB sets are a result of McDs overall approach of becoming much more multiple on both offense and defense. He’s trying to adapt. We ran predominantly 11 personnel in 2020-2022. Drafting Kincaid and playing more 12 was an emphasis that could keep defenses more off balance. If teams wanted to cover 2 she’ll us to death as they were in 20-22, then we could more easily take what the defense gave us in terms of running the ball and in the short passing game. As a result, we saw more team play cover one and funnel passes to the boundaries. We didn’t have the correct personnel to excel on the outside to start 2024. Traded for cooper after drafting Keon to help out. Then signed man beater Palmer and the speedy Moore to replace the washed Cooper. Teams have no reverted to playing more cover 2 vs us this season and Josh (and Brady) is taking what the D is giving us. While I haven’t watched much all 22 this season, Joe Marino has stated that we are running deep routes, but teams aren’t giving us the looks to throw deep. We’re averaging 34 ppg. Can’t complain much about what we’ve been doing. Having the ability to play the short and the deep game has been working for the most part. Pertaining to the defense and 3 LB sets- since McD took over- every team knew that we’d be running Taron out there 85-100%of the snaps and taking advantage of the lighter boxes was their choice. Running the ball and short passing game/rac was their choice a lot of the time. While getting off thr field on 3rd has been a major problem in 2 games so far, we’re still able to accomplish McD MO on D. Limiting big plays and forcing teams to dunk and dunk down the field with hopes to get a turnover. MO stays the same, but being more multiple in our sets forces teams to take different approaches at times. We’re also blitzing a lot more this year (to my eye, no stats to back this up, so I could be wrong). Bringing pressure from variable gaps has the ability to confuse offenses. Disguise is key.
