  2. I think they both could be impactful but I need to see 8 to 10 sacks and several RB tackles for losses before I anoint either guy as a successful early round pick. Rousseau bats down some throws AJ has some nice pressures but neither makes enough game changing plays so far. I like your optimism but Oliver and a healthy Jones are our dominant lineman so far. We need sacks or strips in big spots from edge rushers.
  3. Just finished S2 of The Bear finally. Holy crap. I wound up watching the final 3 eps solo because my gf went to bed. I told her I couldn't wait to rewatch the episodes again with her. Just such a well done show. I can't wait for S3 to start in a couple weeks
  4. I was listening to a Cover One breakdown (with Mina Kimes and she really does know her stuff) and they pointed out that the Rams run an insane amount of 11 personnel (3 WR, 1 TE, 1RB) at sometbing like 94% but still are able to run effectively because they have big bodied receivers is Cupp and Nikua. If you have those four guys, and Kincaid on the line, you have options: putting Samuel in the backfield for 2 RB sets, running unbalanced formations vs light boxes, splitting Kincaid into the slot, having Claypool chip to effectively make a light 2TE formation. I do worry about teams daring the Bills to beat them deep, but there seems to be ways to attack defenses each week depending on their tendencies.
  5. And they are particularly not supposed to half ass it in the meantime.

  7. Best deal is probably paying for a few drinks at a sports bar and watching whichever games you want. Prefer watching at home though! Or love of course.
  8. And we’ll be drinking, having fun, and carrying on like a bunch of idiots…..and you’ll be in a police car. Have fun!
  9. What people always leave out is the people Claypool complained about also lost their jobs eventually. Both Pittsburgh and Chicago made massive changes on offense after getting rid of Claypool. He was right. But players aren’t supposed to speak up to the media.
  10. The Letterman Top 10 List was great. I never saw this one. Loved the replacing Warren Moon by Suzanne Vega line. Surprised no one has ever tried to revise the Top 10 List.
  11. Regardless if I'm right or wrong The bills need it... And I do consider them both rising players... Both 25 and younger with NFL experience ...AJ will be 26 in sept.. but that is still prime with experience While there are 23-year-olds coming out right now... I really like having these young long guys with experience... Opposed to a 23-year-old rookies who has to learn I think there's a good chance of a breakout
  12. This won't be substantially cheaper if at all. You'll pay the same to get less. Why? They know you'll do it. What's the incentive to cut you a break? It's more likely that they'd raise the price of the full shabang and price the one team subscription at what you currently pay for the whole shabang. Additionally it then throws a monkey wrench onto the revenue sharing model and it gives ppl like Jerry Jones an argument as to why they should get more of the pie because more people will subscribe to the Cowboys than the Bills for example. In short, this is one of those things that you think you want, but you really don't. People talk about a la carte too. How much do you think an a la carte game would be? Keeping in mind there's no incentive to price it per game at less than what you pay for everything. They know what you want to watch. There are 17 regular season games, the current price is $450 at full retail. That's basically $26.50 a game (I'm aware there are year to year fluctuations with national TV games, etc but you need to count it as though its a team with none of that). I wouldn't expect it to be priced a la carte at anything less than $30 a game and $50 or more wouldn't shock me. UFC costs $80 an event on top of your ESPN+ subscription. Even if they offer it that way they don't want a person who intends to watch all of the games for their team to just buy it a la carte and give them less money overall. Again, why would they do that? They'll incentivize buying everything and call that your "discount".
  13. Gregg Rousseau and AJ epenesa.... When we took defensive ends high... With Gregg ,AJ and boogie The goal was to always have the cream rise... They develop them slowly... Especially AJ... Who had a complete body transformation They limit their snaps and location to keep them fresh.. along with the rest of the defensive line But when you make pics like this... Sure you want quick impact... But generally there for 3 or 4 years down the line... When they are seasoned veterans in NFL strength and conditioning programs Now... We have two massive starting ends... Tall and long... Great disruptors in the run game... Gets their hands in the passing Lanes on quick throws AJ has honestly.. one of the best first steps and get offs in the NFL... He routinely wins off the snap Gregg is 6'7 270 pounds... Came into the NFL extremely raw... The sky is the limit we just haven't seen it fully... He's a beast in the run and will start manhandling tackles AJ it's probably the best hands up swatter in the NFL... You can't throw a swing pass or screen to his side... He is so long and athletic.. he's going to get another interception or two this season This is why you draft defensive ends high... Multiple.. and let them develop I'm going to call it now they're going to wreak havoc all year.. and we are going to have two of the biggest most tenacious D ends in the NFL We've been waiting for this... They are going to feed off each other and disrupt quarterbacks and running backs all year
  14. Two reasons. 1. Because it can be. 2. The NHL TV deal in the US is a total of 625 million for 7 years. The NFLs deal is 110 BILLION over 11 years.
  15. I dunno, I'm pretty sure Mahomes could get a lawn chair into the top 30
  16. He was decent when he had a competent QB throwing the ball. NGL though, anytime the Steelers actively get rid of a guy it's a big red flag. Big. Don't need him to be spectacular though. It's pretty clear the offense is going through the RBs and Kincaid and that's fine.
  17. That is definitely the correct answer for any pure football fan
  18. It is physically the easiest... Mcgovern is now going to be one of the bigger more athletic centers in the league He will probably be really good if I had to guess
  19. When the pads came on? Claypool was traded to Miami in the middle of the season and hardly got any snaps. Probably because he didn’t know his plays. Plus they were experimenting him at a new position. Claypool could have trouble with the thinking aspect of the game, learning a playbook. But he’s going to look dominant in 7on7 type drills because he’s physically gifted. Claypools issues will be running all the right routes and being on the same page with Allen.
