  2. Young college women who have a man they're not interested in show up uninvited at their door always tell them to go away and then walk away from the open door, allowing said man to come in. After the man comes in, announces he's "high as *****" and "trying to have sex" they always walk away from the man into their bedroom and let the man follow. Whisky Tango Foxtrot? Consent can be withdrawn at any time. So if the young woman had invited Hairston into her room or walked away from the door knowing he would follow and enter her room, then walked into her bedroom after he told her he was "trying to have sex", she would be within her rights to say "no, stop, I don't want this anymore, get off me, no, go away". But the way this is written reads like someone who should never have been allowed out on her own because her "street smarts" are too dumb. Oh, yeah, good point. The NFL can NOT discpline Hairston for something that happened before he was drafted. Ta-da
  3. There’s a flip side to the flip side; you probably didn’t get shot! There’s always a bright side. My wife and son have tinted windows, and they are not up to anything nefarious….at least during the week. Usually. I’m the odd one whose windows are not tinted, but it’s just because I never got around to it. There’s also such a thing as “too dark” which you can get in trouble for.
  4. I guess Maxwell wasn't "smart". I'm here all day folks.
  5. Yeah and water is wet. The only difference I can discern is the Bills new about Hairston's incident before they drafted him.
  6. another outdoor , grass turf venue bites the dust. pretty soon , the entire NFL will in climate controlled on artificial turf. you won't know where the game is or what time it is or what time of year it is or anything...
  7. That's double true when they have a JC that seems more worried about being "cool" and liked by his team then he is trying to get them serious about playing football. Jalen Ramsey going from Miami back to a football program like Pittsburgh is going to be a real shock to his system.
  8. I doubt they saw TJ Watt as a good fit for their scheme when he was coming out. It’s a big reason why teams pass on certain guysIn hindsight that was a bad choice, but hindsight is what allows us to know that Watt would have a HOF level career while White would have his career derailed from injuries. As a Bills fan I’m not mad at the choice they made. They drafted an all pro corner who got injured instead of a pass rusher who may not have fit the scheme… Now if I was a Packers fan… I’d be livid, especially since Watt went to UW, similar scheme to Pittsburgh and they traded the pick right before to Cleveland and drafted Kevin King.
  9. From 2021? Only comes out after he gets drafted in the first round? Obviously will wait for all the information to come out but this seems like a money grab on first impression.
  10. From the 60 billion in the bill allocated for Rural hospitals.
  11. He's lying. Vietnam won't pay a penny. US companies using cheap Vietnamese labor will be the one's paying the 20% tariff thus it's passed onto the American tax payer. I don't even know if he realizes that. If he does that's not a lot of respect for his followers.
  12. I think @Bill from NYC nailed it. Though not a full acquittal, but acquitted on the serious charges that carried mandatory minimums and convicted on the lesser charge. the prosection recommending 51-60 months. I'm guessing the judge gives him less than that. He may walk with time served or a lighter sentence than the prosecutor is recommending further reduced by good behavior, prison labor etc. In Florida you typically only serve 85% less work and other things prisoners can do to reduce time The legal system is a fascinating machine when you really examine it.
  13. He shouldn't be, although nothing guaranteed. In the case of Deshawn Watson and Rashee Rice, Goodell and the NFL have taken the position that they will not take action based on a civil case or before a criminal case completes to the point of charges/no charges. The "wild card" is that the NFL does its own investigation and will act on the basis of their findings, which is how Von Miller wound up with a 6 game suspension in the absence of criminal charges or a civil case.
  14. if you want to know the difference between a 1st Round and 6th Round pick, watch the difference between the handling of Hairston and Araiza.
  15. I was kind of making fun of people who think that she waited for this particular moment to strike. The logic just doesn't play out that way.
  16. The Bills goals are to play 3 games in 2026 in the Ralph. They could fall short of their goals and still play 3. Best case scenario the Bills want is 3 games in the Ralph next year. Make any more sense?
  17. I'm done with homework assignments. Just pointing out the hypocrisy.
  18. Since you have so much solid information….when do the benefits of the us bill come to pass? Lower unemployment? Higher gdp? When are those factories breaking ground? Better and cheaper healthcare? Lower housing and interest rate costs? Lower food costs? Lower debt? Higher test scores in education? Safer food and better health outcomes? As well of course as the end of the Ukraine war and peace in Gaza? When does this happen?
  19. fine. weed them out. but over 10 million are projected to lose Medicaid. What of the other 5 mil?
  20. Years ago a former tenant and friend sued me for falling on the sidewalk. Hence city sidewalk walk not mine. We counter sued for 10 times more and had both attorneys bar licenses suspended. Needless to say no pictures then no ambulance report. They wanted a new car.
  21. And right now only one (MAGA) is actively making it much worse.
