This. I dont know how anyone can watch these games and think Allen is a problem. Allen is the only reason we are in most of these games. That 3rd and 17 or whatever was insane work from him. OP, Buffalo716 and other Allen haters should start their own club and leave us out of it.

He was playing against backup DEs yesterday. And a depleted secondary.
-
Haha.

What's the over/under on how many the blitz happy Bucs get. I will say 6.

2018 is a wash. There were periods of 2019 where the 2 all time Safeties we had were still erasers and turnovers covered a lot of issues. The defense cost us the playoff game in 2020 and in 2019. 2017 was the 1 year we were good. After that offseason teams wrote the book on it and it was flat out, if we aren’t turning people over we aren’t stopping them

Common sense returning. Olympic Committee Ready to Ban Trans Athletes From Competition John Sexton The International Olympic Committee appears poised to ban all trans women from the Olympics after a scientific review concluded male athletes retain advantages over women. The IOC’s guidance to Olympic sports has until now been that transgender women can compete with reduced testosterone levels but leaves it up to individual sports to decide. That is now set to change under its new president, Kirsty Coventry, who has promised to protect the female category. The committee’s medical and scientific director, Dr Jane Thornton, last week presented to IOC members at a meeting in Lausanne the initial findings of a science-based review into the issues of transgender athletes and athletes with differences of sexual development (DSD) competing in female sport. Sources said the presentation by Thornton, a Canadian former Olympic rower, stated that scientific evidence showed there were physical advantages to being born male that remained with athletes, including those who had taken treatment to reduce testosterone levels. “It was a very scientific, factual and unemotional presentation which quite clearly laid out the evidence,” one source said. Another IOC insider said there had been hugely positive feedback from IOC members about the presentation. If you're wondering why this report refers to trans athletes and also to DSD athletes (differences of sexual development) the answer is Imane Khelif. Khelif is not trans in the sense that Khelif never claimed to be a man who transitioned to female. Instead Khelif (allegedly) has male genes but was raised as a girl because of a DSD. https://hotair.com/john-s-2/2025/11/10/olympic-committee-ready-to-ban-trans-athletes-from-competition-n3808748

QB takes sacks waiting for receivers to get open. That's been a challenge this year, hence Allen's sacks.

This actually explains a lot! Beane for his faults has navigated keeping us under the cap with these massive contracts very eloquently. No doubt he is better with the books than making the decision of who to give the money to. I'm not sure to what extent you can credit Gettleman's panthers scouts for Beane's early drafts here, but it's a VERY interesting point you make that the trio of McD, Beane and Gettleman all rode the coattails of that 2015 Panthers season -- and it's even more interesting when you realize they had the lowest strength of schedule in the league that year before the wheels came off and guys started to lose their jobs one by one in the seasons to follow. And yeah I mean you have to question Beane's competency in how he has built this team for the past several years. Even if you like Bernard and Milano at their best (and right now they both are playing like trash)- how much money can you strategically tie up in two undersized, oft-injured linebackers? I mean that's not a reasonable allocation of assets no matter how you slice it. The Gettleman connection is very interesting and probably oft-overlooked. His entire tenure with the Giants the fans and media railed about "outdated thinking" and "nepotism" - so it's very telling that those complaints come up in the Bills organization a lot these days.

thank you!

Oh nooooo! Not the throwbacks again.

Really? Belichick sucked in CLE. Marv sucked in KC, too. I’m not saying that Daboll or anyone else is the next BB. I am, however, making the point that people can and do learn from failure. I heard it wasn’t as frosty as it’s been. Maybe around the time of Josh’s wedding. But who knows. McD might see him as a threat now and this might have to be driven by Josh.
-
what?! i wanna see that...??? i think he will get another shot at being an OC and continue to do well at the least, maybe even cusp of great. there are no really great oc's in the nfl right now. they're all HC's.

Problem is, just line the ATL game (after opening series) they come out and run the ball and get nothing. Fine it happens from time to time. We are not winning in passing situations, the further we gotta go down field the harder it is to pick up. When the run game fails it leads to 3 and outs. The run game failed us early in the game against Miami, ATL and NE. We have to be able to do be able to pass in passing situations. If we can’t we’ll continue to struggle. If we could make those long 3rd downs it would help them continue to try to establish the run when it’s not working. Right now it is just taking them off the field

McDermott statement in presser is telling concerning our offense
H2o replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall
And this is ANOTHER reason why McDermott needs to be fired. It's over. He's done. Hopefully Pegula has enough sense to choose his QB over his clown-boy coach. -
Someone from the media should ask him about Daboll. McDermott’s response will be telling. He could say, “no, Joe Brady is our OC and I trust that he’ll get things figured out.” Or he could say “I don’t really want to get into that right now” or “no I haven’t thought about that yet.” if he says something closer to the latter I think there’s a chance Daboll returns. Hopefully someone words their question intentionally

Weird year for the Bills. Beat the Ravens and Chiefs, lose to the bottom dwellers. Critical game, but we typically respond well in these situations, so I think we bounce back. Go Bills!
-
he's had more success than marrone, though. and he could go to college and be top 3 coordinator immediately.
-
What McDermott doesn't get is that an interception here and there, particularly on longer throws, doesn't matter if the offense is keeping the defense on its heels. He built a defense that works best when the other team is behind and has to throw, and paired it with an offense that doesn't complement that strategy in any way. But we're talking about the same guy who thinks that the best offense for Josh Allen is one made for Chad Pennington.
-
Lol. Yes. Assuming we even get there expect that to show up. We’re going to get blown out in a wildcard game.
-
I think Flacco is the better qb so that could make the game easier for us!

Allen and sacks this season
HereComesTheReignAgain replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Allen had an average of 3.5 seconds to throw on Sunday. The line was far from "absolutely terrible".
