11/9/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Dolphins Post Game Thread
Blank Stare replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
This guy is such a dweeb. Your team is literally going nowhere, but congrats I guess. -
Ring or no ring I am taking a step back once Josh is gone. Will still cheer and watch but probably not to the same degree I have for three decades. The odds of this team playing at a high decent level after Josh is incredibly low. We'd be lucky to be NE and only have 4-5 down years.

and its third and loooong in this Liiiiife. and you think Josh has haaaaad enough Hooooold on Hoooooolllld onnnnnnn

Thanks... this is the main reason I'm just not caring all that much right now. Buffalo proved this season already it can beat elite teams when it beat KC and Baltimore when it was healthy and full strength. I think everyone forgets these are human beings playing the game and most of them have gone through these regular season wins and losses for the last 6 straight years if you go back to 2019 (very few of those guys on the team) and there's gotta be a part of them (hopefully a very tiny part) that they battle with internally throughout the season that feels like none of the games they're playing now are going to matter in mid January. And when that little devil takes over and you get a ridiculous loss like yesterday, the team responds. I expect a good game from the Bills next weekend. -
If this lopsided loss to Miami keeps McDaniel's as their HC then it was worth it

Brady will have a big opportunity to silence critics here. Tampa is 4th in EPA run defense and 1st in run defense success rate. Is it possible we impose our will after a complete turd? Sure. But I don't think Tampa is coming in overlooking anybody off a big loss at home to New England. Henderson popped two huge runs, outside of those runs NE had 25 carries for 42 yards. They had 3 TD's over 50 yards and 4 total plays over 50 yards.

This is the type of attitude that ensures you do not win rings. At some point change is necessary when you cannot get your ultimate goal. Reid in PHI at least made a SB and still was given years after to try before the message faded. After that PHI has not stopped trying to be the best org possible and has went through a few guys including one who did win a ring there. Fact remains settling creates complacency and that is now seeping into this team. You can see it from the comments yesterday about a 2-7 team being more prepared and wanting it more then our guys. Yea there is some risk with new mgmt/coach, but I take the gamble on the upside vs the same that we have been getting as the coach in the biggest moments wilt and the GM is too arrogant to make the proper moves which is now killing the offense.

and put in who…Mitch Trubisky ?! 🤣 this thread is 100% rage bait. People, don’t even give it them time of day like i just did.
-
If this team goes through Josh's career with nothing to show for it, I may walk away from it all, and I've been a lifelong fan. Just feels like insanity to endure at that point.
-
Nope There are STILL apologists for all of the above

I see the little flag that indicates this thread is 'HOT'. Can we get one that indicates 'HOT TAKE'? 🤔

Agree. I would not be surprised if the Pats win by three scores. Actually, I expect they will. -
Allen is a victim of an offensive game plan that teams have caught up with. If you’re going to be a run first offense , including slot receiver screens behind the line, and use check downs to bring about 3rd and short, when stacked boxes and missed O-line blocks ruin the game plan, Josh is forced to throw against safety and corner blitzing or on the run that’s where he changes delivery. Mahomes and Stafford do the same thing. The receivers are not great but they’re not a big part of the offense. When they’re asked to get open on 3rd and long against double teams or defenders trying to prevent free releases, they just can’t and Josh has tiny windows. Brady has to open up the offense while still getting Cook touches. So far, he’s failed and if he continues to force the same approach, he will see Josh lose confidence in our coaching and himself.

what was miami's excuse? they were on the 4th string nickel, missing 2 CB's, douglas was CB3 and limited. they had no chop, had just traded jaylen phillips, their OL is missing two guys on IR. starting safety on IR. their depth is just missing. their all pro wr is out. waddle is banged up. ollie gordon banged up. waller was out. in a 10,000' view it is obvious the Bills are injured. the whole damn league is injured. and the basic 4-3 defense of the dolphins on dpeth players just hurt us bad...

That would make Josh happy.

The Pats will not play down to the competition. They have the same fire that we used to have when Josh was much younger. -
Beane may have broke the cardinal rule when he called out the fans/media on the WR piece. Even if you are frustrated you cannot put that out there and now with how cooked the WR room is people have no time for him. Whatever patience was left with him as GM is gone now and many will be fine with him leaving because of how all of this has went down.
-
Brady is at a crossroad. He needs to figure out the correct way to go or he’s as good as gone. A healthy Palmer and Davis leaves him no more excuses. Not every team has the benefit of a superstar WR1, but still make it work. If they come out flat against the Bucs then i think he will get canned.

6/7!!!!! sorry. I blame my kids for that one.

Cooks seeing a lot of usage and while he’s managed to avoid a most hard knocks, the seasons action is cumulative. He’s a bit dinged now and I think it showed a bit yesterday. Also Kincaid is down with a hamstring which is generally a nagging injury. What’s left? Defense is thin, offense didn’t have much to start with, we’re in a rough spot. -
My recurring nightmare ... Josh demanding a trade to the Rams to replace a retiring Matt Stafford.
-
Well, you’re correct that fans have no say and never will. Hopefully no one here ever thought otherwise. It’s a business and always has been. That’s the bottom line. Sure , it’s entertainment but not anything more. I’d also agree that the NFL was probably at its best during the earlier part of the Tagliabue era.
