  1. Past hour
  2. That’s ridiculous on its face. Josh knew the protection. To his right, he had two blockers protecting the LDE. To his left, he had Dawkins on an island against Chris Jones. If there’s going to be any pressure, it’s going to be from his left. Fortunately for him, he’s got 2 blockers against a non-premier pass rusher to his right, so he knows that he can move to his right in the extremely likely event that Dawkins doesn’t completely stone Chris Jones. It’s not like Dawkins got picked up and thrown into him the way Smoot manhandled Caliendo in the AFFCG. He got pushed back, but there was plenty of time and room for Josh to use the pocket. Hell, there was enough time that Diggs had already crossed from one side of the field all the way to the other. A QB, especially one as mobile as Josh, has to be able to avoid one rusher, particularly when that rusher is engaged with a blocker. The Defensive Tackles weren’t rushing, and the LDE was absolutely no threat. There was exactly one spot on the field that would have put Josh in harm’s way, and he nailed his feet to that spot. In the end, there were 2 open receivers and a large, clean pocket. The rest was up to Josh. He didn’t take the quick crosser to Diggs, and he didn’t slide out of Dawkins’s way to give himself a clean look at Shakir. That wasn’t Dion’s fault or Brady’s fault, or anyone else’s fault. The play was there to be had, and Josh missed it.
  3. RoundyMao fully supports the actions of this lawless thug, but would never have the guts to do it himself.
  4. Well, duh. It would be expected to be low because that stat is counting any pass from 20 to 100(!!!) yards in length lol. OF COURSE the 50, 60, 70, 80 yard heaves are going to drag the percentage down. And because defenses play a lot of Cover 2 against the Bills and Chiefs and all good offenses, the middle of the field is rarely ever open so the data set is slim. All those 50, 60, 70 yard heaves down field when under pressure and are basically throwaways? Those count. But the typical 25-30 yard lasers across the hash? Closer to the 60% mark. 🤦‍♂️ But sure, let's pretend that a pass that landed within 5 feet of Shakir would have had very little chance of being caught if Allen wasnt hit lol.
  5. 10 million guaranteed for a veteran qb who only needs to be slightly better than Russell Wilson for a good shot at the playoffs. It gives Will Howard a chance to learn behind a super bowl champion and MVP. As long as they can keep him from ruining the locker room, it's a relatively low risk for possibly high reward.
  6. To think I participated in the TBD mock drafts and don't have a clue who this guy is
  7. Living your life with the belief that you are a perpetual victim being constantly ripped off by evil people more powerful than you rather than a grown man with agency whose life is a product of his own decisions sounds really awful. I think that way of thinking is really destructive (and I don’t think that paradigm reflects reality) but I admire people who are able to keep pressing on even though they believe that. I’m not sure I could.
  8. It's my favorite Kim picture.
  9. Oh, for sure. Seething. Coping too. Pity this neighborly hard worker.
  10. Im sure you’re absolutely SEETHING that they brought him back.

  12. Arrest them all and hold the insurrectionsts in Federal detention without bail for 1 1/2 years while awaiting a trial. Sound familiar? J6 quid pro quo.
  13. https://www.espn.com/college-sports/story/_/id/45467505/judge-grants-final-approval-house-v-ncaa-settlement One interesting thing is now the NCAA CAN implement collective bargaining and have a cap on the total teams can spend. OU put out an interesting statement " Yesterday marked a historic moment in collegiate athletics with the approval of the House vs. NCAA class action lawsuit settlement. For the first time, athletics departments will share revenue directly with student-athletes. Beginning July 1, 2025, Oklahoma plans to contribute the maximum allowable amount – $20.5 million annually. "
  14. Allen was 1 of 19 on the season/post season of passes more than 20 yards down the middle of the field that season? Dead last in the NFL. What's the definition of insanity their Einstein? I was being generous with 30%.
  15. Correct- In order to win the Super Bowl- we can’t lose in the playoffs. So the losing playoff games are the only games I’m talking about. The other games are 💯 inconsequential whether you agree or don’t agree this that statement. Each game is its own entity. I’m not lacking context- you’re refusing to acknowledge the context of which I’m speaking. The national narrative is that our defense has failed Josh Allen. It’s not that Josh Allen and the offense failed our defense. You disagree and it makes sense why you do. This has been your argument for years (not enough investment in the WR position, which I agree with). Why would you take the L when you can regurgitate stats that have nothing to do with my conversation - season ending losses- rather shifting the argument to how our O has underperformed in games that we’ve won. agree to disagree
  16. I didn’t move any goal posts and this is still inaccurate.
  17. Well I did say 50.. and you only dress 48 And I do think he squarly is in the majority of NFL rosters 48 to 50 .. he's better than a lot of back of roster players Which is typically a glue guy and he's tremendous teammate and good player
  18. I think it’s a good question, but I also think it’s important to remember that whenever we answer questions like this, we should take into account what is theoretically possible for a player to do better and seperate it from what is actually probable, in a game situation, for a player to do better. Some posters, for example, want to defy physics to make a suggestion for what a player should have done differently. Others simply ignore fatigue on what is possible for a player to do late in a game. Anyway, I think you could make the argument that if he took one more step backwards in his dropback (or readjusted one step back after), he gets the throw off. But then we have to ask ourselves - what are we really doing by making these suggestions? And the undeniable answer is that we are clawing to find ways to cast blame on anyone other than the person at fault, Dion Dawkins. Dawkins got blown up. That is what happened. All the nuanced takes of what Allen could have done with a step in this or that direction is simply deflection from the fact that Dawkins got blown up. Also, as I mentioned in a previous post that you may not have seen because it is a couple pages back now, Josh could’ve decided to throw to Diggs and just take the first down. But I will never ever blame a player for going end zone in that situation. It was the right decision. Mathematically it is 100% the right decision.
  19. I always think of the kicker, punter, and long snapper as 51,52,53. The bottom of the roster I think of as 46-50, that's where the coaching staff has their heated discussions on ST and emergency [e.g. multiple in game injuries] needs. Some of those 5 are vets and some of them are rookies, [e.g. Buffalo Joe last season].
  20. Goo goo dolls Rick James Buffalo Springfield.
  21. buffalo artist YES. She also converted a church into a musical venue in Buffalo .Very cool. ani Difranco 32 flavorss
  22. I have to ask, What could Josh have done better ? I have not watched the play again I just cant blame the fail just on Jones getting that pressure over Dion. Being a team game . Everyone is always adjusting as the play unfolds, and quickly as possible. No one player wins every play Could Josh have compensated in the moment ? Half step back or left. Seen it quicker and floated the ball to him to go get ? thoughts
  23. I remember a band named TALAS that played live gigs at a Batavia area rock club called the primitive scene circa late 1970's . The bass player is Billy Sheehan. He had a career in music. I don't know if he is still active. I will search for a link a reunion show in 2017 talas billy sheehan https://talasband.fandom.com/wiki/Talas_(band) says Billy went on to play with David Lee Roth.
