RFK Jr: CONFIRMED Trump 47 HHS Secretary

So far, the new vaccine and autism guidance doesn't bother me. These are fairly minor tweaks. Should Tylenol have a label like "if you are pregnant, you should consult with you health care provider before taking?" Whatever, that's fine, as with most medicines. Will Trump/RFK Jr. attempt to oversell this possible "link"? They already are. Will this oversell cause some woman somewhere to avoid taking Tylenol and to cause damage to her baby based on an untreated high fever? Almost certainly. Nothing is cost or risk free. -

Those grades are interesting. I find it painful watching Tre try and play CB in the NFL at this point in his career. He just doesn't have the movement skills or foot speed to keep up with NFL receivers any longer. And I wish the coaches would figure that out, this week. Perfect game coming up against the Saints to start Strong opposite Benford. And Taron really doesn't do much in pass coverage anymore. He is just another injury waiting to happen. The guy plays hard, and his body is beat up at this point. Overall we have a lot of mediocre athletic guys on the defense. And the defense seems to be very difficult for a lot of guys to understand. But I am excited for Hairston and Hecht to come back. Both are super athletic, and will hopefully give us some juice against the better offenses we play. -
Do The Bills Have A Passing Game Problem?

yup imo folks got too self conscious listening to nfl media regurgitate 'allens turnover problem' ad nauseum -
No chance that had anything to do with Diggs IMHO. I mean its not remotely the kind of person Josh is, especially in the media. It was more a reference to how this team is, how Josh carries himself to the other members of this team, etc off the field. He was sharing his personally philosophy, and something this whole team, including the new members, all essentially echo and buy into as well. Listen to Bosa's recent interviews, he talks a lot about that, the closeness this team has, how its never anything he ever experienced before, how everyone interacts legitimately with each other, and guys from all positions talk to each other, etc. I don't think Allen thinks about Diggs even 1 second of his life anymore. He is the reigning MVP and just married the love of his life while Diggs twists in purgatory in NE with more baby mama drama. Josh doesn't need to take shots, karma already took care of the rest lol

Start of the season really could not have gone better for the Bills…

This is my fear. Third down defense is terrible. I think oliver and Milano being out really showed the last game. I think the other players success really depends alot on those guys -
Game week thread - Saints at Bills

Nope. That game is in Atlanta too. Patriots seem to give us issues. But it is at home. I wouldn't be shocked if one of these are losses though. -
I hated the Broad Street Bullies, but I always respected Bernie and recognized his greatness.

Exactly where I'm at. Everyone was stressed about the INTs, but it didn't really bother me as his yards and TDs more than enough made up for it. And come playoff time, he always cleaned the INTs when it mattered most. -

Well, the deputy walks on hard nails and the preacher rides a mount But nothing really matters much, it's doom alone that counts And the one-eyed undertaker, he blows a futile horn Come in, she said I'll give ya shelter from the storm

PoundingDog replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have a different take on the how it is so far so good for the Bills. It has nothing to do with Chiefs, Chargers, etc. We won all the games. That's what really counts. We have flaws, especially on defense that even the players can see. That means you are motivated to look for improvement. Unlike some years of the past we started season scoring at will while shutting people out at the same time. Human nature says just do what you are doing with no incentives to seek new heights (and often not look hard the underneath problems that became a bigger issue later on). We are nowhere near full strength and a lot of unsettled areas --- pointing to D-Line, CB2, even safety etc. Some major evaluation needs to happen in the bye week. To me, Eagles, Indys, maybe the Chargers are ready to play the superbowl NOW. The thing is superbowl is NOT going to be played right now and we learned the lesson the past few seasons. -

The bribery investigation explains a lot to me. I expected Homan to be nominated as DHS Secretary. Well ... that is obviously a position requiring Senate confirmation, and the then-ongoing investigation would've been a bit awkward for him to say the least. So create an uber-Border Czar position for him to exercise the same policy leadership without the need for all that messy stuff. Disgusting that people would think that a guy who took $50K cash in a Cava fast food takeout bag should have any place in public life.

Bills Defense, will it get better as season goes on
Alphadawg7 replied to North Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yup, Hoecth is better than a lot of people realize. Its like when signed Micah Hyde and so many here didn't think much of it. I kept saying Hyde was a lot better than people think and GB fans were upset they lost him. I feel similar with Hoecht, and they are going to love and use his versatility a lot here. He may not put up gaudy stats given he will be part of a rotation, but I suspect people are not going to be starting threads like "Is Hoecth even playing" because they haven't seen or felt his impact. I think what a lot of people are overlooking with the defensive concerns (not that the concerns aren't valid, because they have had some issues) - is that we have been without our #1 draft pick and critical speed in our secondary so far, Oliver and Milano have missed games, and we have been without our 2 FA's on suspension, both of which will be critical rotational guys and good players for this team. Now add in rookies have had to drink from the fire hose a bit to start the season due to suspensions and injuries upfront, and its not hard to see where potential improvement can come from as the season goes on. The D is giving up 15 ppg since getting dog walked 3 1/2 quarters against Balt. And they had some 3rd down issues against a desperate Miami team. But, still its 15 PPG against 2 divisional opponents, one of which (Jets) put up a ton of points the week before the played us, and the other is what is supposed to be powerhouse offense loaded with speed. I don't personally think much of the Jets, but I mean GB just lost to the Browns this week, KC struggled to do much against the Giants until the Giants let Russel Wilson just lose the game for them, etc. Bills are handling their business and without FIVE key defensive players, 2 of which are amongst their best players, 2 of which were key FA signigns, and the other our top overall draft pick. Dont get me wrong, I am in a need to see it to believe mode with the D come playoff time. But I am only pointing out reasons for optimism this year. Now add in that guys like Bosa and Walker are looking like guys capable of making that extra 1 or 2 stops a game that have been our kryptonite for not having in most of our playoff exits, especially the last 3 KC losses which were all games we lost by 1 score. -

Your points are all valid balln. We don't stop the run consistently. Its been like that for awhile now. And they can't sack the QB. Very frustrating. And we give up so much in the flats. Is it scheme or just guys being slow and not reading plays quick enough? I was watching the NFL games yesterday, and I will say that Cleveland has an excellent defense. They get after the QB and are relentless. And the Giants athleticism on the edge with Burns Thibodeaux and now Carter who they drafted from Penn State is ridiculous. We have noone close to that. That we gave Rousseau all that money is concerning. For whatever reason the Bills do not get anyone who is twitchy playing D Line. Heck, I would love to have a guy like George Karloftis, who may not be twitchy, but is tough and can make plays off the edge. -

The biggest determinant is the first and second year players developing over the course of the year. Cole bishop , tj sanders , walker , max, Hancock , maybe strong. I don’t think Landon is gonna do anything this year - I doubt he’s developing at all not dressing/playing. I don’t think Carter is coming back or doing anything anyway with an Achilles injury. It’s on these guys making a difference. IMO. While I’m hopeful- realistically I don’t think they and our D coaches will affect all time greats Pat Mahommes / Andy or Lamar. Or hurts or Stafford / Mcvay. When it matters
