When healthy, I think we need to get to a place where our Back 7 is Shaq Thompson, Dorian Williams, Taron Johnson or Cam Lewis, Hairston, Benford, Bishop and Hancock. Poyer gave up TWO touchdowns today with poor angles. Bernard playing hurt is a mess. Sit him and rest him up.
-
The in game adjustment was run a 3-4 D & have Dorian Williams running in to clean up the run per Joe Marino, which worked a little better. Don't know if it's a long term fix this season, but not sure it can be worse.
-
I mean this is a great question. Not really sure how the D improves. Really poor personnel acquisition on the DL/LBs by Bean. Perhaps some disguised/delayed blitzes with different guys coming from different spots. Bishop has been in great position this season, so that frees up the ability to blitz more.

There have been some legendary dumb things posted on this board over the decades. This should be chiseled in the Mt Rushmore of dumbest thing ever posted. Take a bow, you’ve earned it.

According to Cover 1, Coleman will be a healthy scratch

By the time he strolls in to try to create drama, everyone will have already left for the day. -

You've seen a lot of 6 TD performances? -
After this game, the Bills may be dead last in run D. 🤮🤮🤮🤮 Outside of Hoecht and Oliver, the rest of the D is for the most part healthy. After ten games in, what needs to change? Is the run game D issues the DL or LB? The secondary looks somewhat better but that soft zone on 3rd and long has to change. It’s embarrassing watching the Bills D consistently giving up easy 3rd and long conversions. Pass rush is lackluster and there is no one that is even remotely consistent enough. Far too often the pass rush is neutralized. We are not a very good blitzing team either. Would love to hear other’s thoughts on how this D improves down the stretch? There is no calvary coming so unless we plan on winning every game in a shootout something has to change!

I will expect them to win the first playoff game, and if they win that one, to win the second, and if they win that one, to win the third. And if they win that one to win the fourth one. But i don't expect they will win all four. They will more likely lose one that it seems they could have won. Because that is how it goes every year.

Should we look to trade Keon after this season?
Livinginthepast replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall
The way this is playing out, they obviously have had some issues with Keon for a while. This makes you wonder if Beane dangled him at the tradeline. If not, he should have. -

Agree- watching Milano out there is bad- just make the call with some of these guys already -
Some people dragging Keon like he ****ed your sister and never called. What he has done is inexcusable, but if you just judge someone based on who they are at 21 then I am willing to bet many of us are ***** people (I know I would be!) He is one step away from the curb, but I see no reason to help kick him there as a fan. Hoping he changes and things improve, though I doubt it. In the meantime, I’ve seen enough of the “this person is a horrible human” take
-
We will trade them our 1st so they can double dip
-
If Rogers has a busted wrist, that might limit how well the Pittsburgh Offense plays.
-
I'd like to know what the plan is on the Dline. More TJ Sanders pretending to be a DE? Is Bosa's arm now perma-injured? Who can we still sign off the couch to play meaningful snaps?
-
I didn’t know about that connection. I saw him in concert when I was in high school. I’m sure he remembers me.
-
Defense is a joke. Down Oliver and Hoecht shouldn’t make them this bad. We invested heavily into this group and they’re more pathetic than ever. Josh Allen unleashed can beat anyone, but looks like another year of him having to drag us through the Playoffs, but hey.. maybe the Chiefs don’t make it. Sidenote: Already preparing myself to be sick to my stomach as the 5 seed having to go into Baltimore if Pittsburgh can’t take the Division.
-
I mean not in a great spot...lost to the Jags so they are effectively 2 games back from the last WC spot right now.
-
To add some light to this discussion, I did the auto-lineup function on my ESPN Fantasy lineup thing and it subbed out Josh Allen for some other guy I really worked over how to handle this...it was just computer math, so I decided to let it ride figuring I might be providing some reverse-karma in the end, Josh had a historic game, which my Fantasy team missed out on...I'll prob still win that...and I didn't hex the Bills chances... Psyched to have AI be wrong this time...

Around the NFL - Week 11 games (no Bills talk in this thread please)
gonzo1105 replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was only talking about the Ravens. I agree that the Chiefs are in trouble. They have a tough schedule down the stretch too. I know there is talk about Burrow coming back but if I were the Bengals at 3-7 now and possibly 3-8 after next week just saying Joe there is no point in risking it Unless you don’t think the Ravens can win the division root for the Ravens. The Ravens will very likely be the # 4 seed if they win the division and if the Bills don’t win the division the Bills will likely be the # 5 meaning Buffalo would go to Baltimore in round 1. I’d much rather tank the last game and be the # 6 seed
