What’s the deal with Winston and Cousins?
Sierra Foothills replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe the data will make the point more clear... Arch Manning has played in a grand total of 12 NCAA games. He's started 2 of those games. One week ago he turned 21 years old (so he's only one year older than Tremaine Edmunds). -
For sure, there were multiple factors. It’s such a great example though for where the Bills are now. It’s kind of weird that @Mister Defense disliked the post instead of responding. What in there is controversial? Allen has been historically good in the playoffs and McDermott historically bad vs. KC. That’s not really debatable. If he’s against the notion that McDermott belongs on the hot seat, defend that position. I’m of the belief that dozens of coaches could have accomplished what he has over the last 5 seasons with those exact rosters.

Probably. The NFL is a machine when it comes to marketing where they get everyone hyped about a schedule where we already know our opponents.

Beane elaborates on the process of picking Josh Allen
Doc Brown replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed but at this point to quote a former Bills GM "don't tell me about the labor pains, show me the baby." Beane lecturing us on WGR that we aren't appreciative enough for what they've done falls on deaf ears at this point. I really have no interest in listening to him anymore as he keeps reminding me more and more of a politician. Especially on national shows like this where he's not required to be on. He's still a very good GM but sooner or later people are going to run out of patience until we break through. I think we drafted/signed close to the same future all pros right before he got here in 2017 (don't know whether to give McDermott or Whaley the credit) than we did the last seven off-season. Could be wrong though. -
UFL football for those undergoing withdrawal

Yesterday's Michigan/Arlington game was won with no time on the XP. At least with the refs you can hear the conversations on calls. -
Technically, he did play at Mississippi State on 11/23/17, and he did not score a TD. He had one catch for 5 yards. Clearly I have too much time on my hands.

As someone who lives in the Toronto area, love the Dwayne Casey shout out haha. I will add though- The big reason the raps did win was the trade for Kawhi. As Derozan was rough in the playoffs. (Getting rid of Casey for Nick nurse was def a factor as well to your point) I do agree with your overall point here about McDermott . Good coach who can stabilize a team. But Not sure if he's the guy to take you over the hump

What exactly is the Daily Mail debunking? The article somehow skips the bit where Trump’s getting a 747 like it’s a party favor and planning to fly off post-presidency like a Bond villain with bad hair. But yeah, tell me more about how it’s all totally normal and constitutional. It’s wild how he can do literally anything, and the cult still lines up to defend the indefensible.

IMO, the biggest reason Knox had 0 TDs at Mississippi State is that he went to Ole Miss.

I'm going to need to see receipts, because I haven't seen any evidence that this is the case. I've seen FAR more mental errors from Rapp, and especially Bishop than Hamlin. No. that's the definition of cheap in today's NFL. He's the 64th highest paid safety. Mike Edwards made 2.8M from us last year to not play at all.

The cost of most products at the store has increased by 50% in the past 5 years, so your argument was smashed by inflation, not tariffs. Once again much more believable if you fought Biden. I also believe that with the exception of China we will eliminate all tariffs quickly that are not reciprocal.

What happened to your Stanley Cup PLayoffs thread?
-
Silly Russia. Maybe if you'd just taken your L and lived to fight another day... Instead of telling your shills and simps that this is actually a crusade against corrupt, nazi loving American puppets bent on destroying you... Then you could negotiate reasonably? Oh well, chalk off another 1200/day to the cemeteries, hospitals and PoW camps.

Historical evidence shows the success rate of quarterbacks with less than 15-20 college starts is not that good.. the Manning family knows this Peyton Manning could have been the number one pick the year before came back.. Eli probably would have gotten drafted over Carson Palmer, certainly in the top five.. came back... Josh Allen could have been top five and came back It's all about having a successful NFL career which means he needs more college starts.. their plan was always for him to be on campus at least 4 years or more They definitely are not in a rush to make him jump ship to the NFL.. hes going to get seasoned

I don’t know. Do you know if he talked about the process of picking Cook, Benford, T Johnson, Bernard, Shakir, Torrence, S Brown, Rousseau etc…. It’s easy to pick on a few mistakes, but someone is missing the forest through the trees. PS: Ford and Basham were drafted exactly where their pre-draft rankings placed them. -

This is a slight decrease from his 5.6% drop rate in 2023. His drop rate in the 2024 season was third-worst among tight ends who were targeted at least 80 times I didn't mention Bowers, or Kelce. I bet all of the above are so super impressed with the 10th best rookie TE participation trophy. Above are numbers real TEs put up. Most every TE above blocks as well. Real actual TEs, not TE slot receivers

You continue to post this thing, and yet you never offer history or context. I posted about the Newark thing years ago, mentioning adjusting schedules because of manning shortages there. This was barely a year into the Biden Admin. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg did nothing to solve it, nor anything else to rectify the huge problems of the FAA. Despised by the industry, the mayor of Gary served out his term and this is what he left us. The funny part, though not funny in the industry, is that every time you post this stuff you are pointing the finger at our Biden Admin Sect of Transportation, and you don't seem to realize that.
