Not created equal…I think there are a lot of teams that have no meaningful home-field advantage: Vegas, both LA teams, Arizona, Miami, Jacksonville. On the other hand, there are still teams like Buffalo, Denver and KC where home field is still worth a full 3 points…

Tyler Dunne's piece on Caleb Williams is DAMNING
Mister Defense replied to estro613's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yikes--see bold and in general above... Love the "fascinating stuff" line! Don't forget to pick up a copy of the Weekly World News, see how aliens are walking among us, in key positions in our society Yup, fascinating stuff too. To some. Yeah, 'odd' that a hit man muckraker with zero journalistic integrity would just happen to (self) publish this the week of the season opener!?!? Odd is the word! -
The KC Vs Chargers game implications for the Bills
SoMAn replied to BigAl2526's topic in The Stadium Wall
The AFC West could have the Chiefs, Broncos, and Chargers beating each other up so that none of them can grab the # 1 seed. This season may be the Chiefs biggest challenge for playoff positioning in several years. -

I don’t think there’s some grand conspiracy, but my experience with doctors is trust but verify. Remember these are the same folks who prescribed Oxy with regularity, well intentioned though is might have been. I also believe there are doctors who take the least common denominator to a patient with a problem—-anxious? Here’s a prescription. Upset? Here’s a prescription. -
Parsons traded to Green Bay, given $188 million contract
mannc replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Green Bay will regret the trade. Parsons is already injured. The $47 million cap space Parsons takes up will severely limit GB’s options in the next few years. And just when they need to fill out the roster with cost-controlled talent, they’ll be without a first round pick for the next two years. I also don’t think Parsons is as much of a dominant, game-changing talent as people think. He gets a lot of garbage-time sacks. For example, he was absolutely invisible when the Bills dismantled Dallas two years ago. -
Great call out! The bottom feeders statistically impact here.

Sad, pathetic even, that you give this muckraker any kind of legitimacy on this forum. They guy's main shtick is to create conflict and controversy so people buy what he is selling. As the Bleacher Report says about this: "In fact, this basically reads like a hit piece … which is not something I’d toss out lightly given the subject matter. Most of the quotes and stories come off as if they are from the perspective of someone with an axe to grind. And who has more of an axe to grind than staffers who were moved out after the failures of the 2024 Bears season? And that’s to say nothing about why it’s only coming out now, a few days before the Bears’ season is set to begin." Hmmm...sound familiar to you?? Shocking that anyone would take what dunne says to heart to the point where someone says, "Caleb is an absolute disaster". And implied: 'I have full trust and faith in everything dunne says, always.' -

The KC Vs Chargers game implications for the Bills
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to BigAl2526's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am remaining confident, but I absolutely have no idea what to expect come tomorrow night. What I do know is if Buffalo can pull off a win, it puts them a game over 2 of the main #1 seed contenders. This is the most important week 1 we’ve had in the Josh Allen era. -

Completely with you. I’m kind of astonished that there isn’t more criticism of what Green Bay did. Maybe some of that is just how much people hate Jones and want this to backfire? I think he may have bumbled into a win. -
The KC Vs Chargers game implications for the Bills
hondo in seattle replied to BigAl2526's topic in The Stadium Wall
We're used to thinking of the Chiefs as our nemesis for obvious reasons. But maybe this year our main threat to earning an AFC crown is the Chargers. Or the Ravens. Or some other team. -

It's always a good thing when KC loses, but 28 teams (including the Bills) have yet to play a down, so I just can't too worked up over this yet. And the Chargers may well turn out to be a really tough out as the season goes on. -

The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
NoSaint replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
it’s the proverbial qb under 6’2, OT with short arms, etc… it’s not impossible to do but there’s a reason that despite fast 170 lbs guys being a more common body type, there’s more fast 210 lbs guys at wr in the nfl that said, it’s not a deal breaker either and it’s silly to think he’s going to wilt every time he’s touched and can’t do things to minimize the biggest hits
