A lot of the other players didn’t have cost controlled deals or weren’t worth the investment long-term. I’m sure if the Jets were willing to part ways with Garrett Wilson he would’ve been all over that one as well, but Chris Olave is a serious risk with his concussions and honestly, he doesn’t have the upside of waddle or Wilson. Other players like Ridley may have helped short term, but probably weren’t worth giving up a draft pick in his eyes whether I agree or not I am hopeful that his outlook on the position is changing

to be fair to the rest of the state, 247sports has only 2 NYS players ranked so far in NYS....for 2027--that's where this kid is "#1". 247sports ranks prospects by their graduating class, not by how they are currently performing.
