I remember reading articles that the technology for chip/GPS wouldn't be accurate enough with current technology, and visual like tennis would obviously be obscured by bodies. So after they showed it and I posted I wondered if it was just visual from where they spot like you said. What they really need to do is improve the technology to be able to use the chip

That's quite an accomplishment! I've run 3, all slower than a three-legged possum with asthma, but I'm hoping to win my age group someday. My family tends to be long-lived so I'm hoping to outlive the competition and be the only finisher in my age group.
