The nation's largest trucking company says it will no longer service New York City after Mamdani takes office: "We've instructed our dispatchers to reject loads to any of the Five Burroughs," said Company Spokesman Joe Barron, "We don't see a way to continue doing business in the Big Apple.." The news comes as Mamdani released his plan to increase revenue across the city by quadrupling the cost of tolls, licensing, permits, and inspections of all commercial vehicles. "He's going to put a lot of the independent truckers out of business."

Some of that is Allen's escapability. I see a lot of QB's take sacks that Allen eludes and extends the play. But overall the pass pro is good which is an even stronger indictment of the receivers not getting separation or responding properly on plays where Allen is scrambling. That the Bills miss the contributions of Davis & Hollins is we need to know about the current problems.

Somewhat related but probably not thread worthy... I hate when the Bills do tush push on 3rd and 1 (like the Allen fumble play). Vs anyone but the Chiefs it's pretty much automatic and you should be going for it on 4th down from almost anywhere on the field. On third go play action or try to catch the defense off guard and hit something deep. And if you don't get it then you have a cheat code to easily pick it up on 4th down.

I’ll take any reason for hope, so I’ll choose to believe they bounce back against Tampa … but we’re getting real close to a breaking point with injuries and New England is about one more game from potentially putting the Division out of reach, nevermind the 1 seed which we apparently will just never get.

McDermott statement in presser is telling concerning our offense
JohnNord replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s exactly what he says he wanted to do, and why he’s frustrated with Joe Brady: "Um, but it can't just be one one phase of your offense. It's got to be two working, you know, in concert with one another. So, you guys know I say this quite a bit. It starts up front with the with the line of scrimmage, controlling the line of scrimmage early, and it that sets up other things. So, that's that's what I look at first is are we controlling the line of scrimmage, and then how does that set up our passing game? So, no, they go hand in hand." -

The front office really needs a smack in the back of the head. So many absolutely wasted picks on defense over the years and only a single attempt to bring in a playmaker on the outside. And that attempt has been a massive bust save for about 1 game and a couple plays here and there. Why rely on trading for a guy? Why not have your scouts do their job and have the GM address the glaring hole on this team? I see teams across the NFL that have not 1 but 2 (!) high level receivers on their rosters and all we can muster is a couple slot guys and a deep threat that's never won a foot race in his life? At this point it really is a joke. -
I am happy to have a good running game. Our pass-first teams eventually got shut down and we couldn't get a first down to finish a game. It's not the run game that's the problem, it's the complete lack of talent at receiver and an OC that can scheme against man coverage. We do not have one receiver that can beat man coverage, not one. Beane like's them big and slow. Load the box and dare one of our receivers to win a one-on-one, they cannot. Josh had 3.5 seconds plus to throw on Sunday, the longest of his career, and couldn't find anyone open time after time. So I do fault McD, but this is mostly on Beane. I think both need to move on.

Hairston vs Waddle........another fun matchup for the Rookie....
RobbRiddick replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
To be fair to the kid, his technique for the Waddle touchdown came from the 'How to play CB for Dummies' book Elam left in his locker -
Watching Josh repeatedly standing in the pocket looking downfield, progressing through reads with nowhere to go with ball is frustrating. Look at his demeanor when he comes off the field. This isn’t a guy who’s loving the game right now. Everything’s a struggle.

11/9/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Dolphins Post Game Thread
DapperCam replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
You think Allen will play 2 more seasons then retire, leaving potentially $200m+ on the table in future potential earnings? You’re out to lunch dude. I agree he won’t live in Buffalo when he retires, I don’t think anybody expects that (and quite frankly, who cares). -

The really didn’t get smoked in pass pro. Josh had the most time to throw as he’s had since 2018 -
I agree. What we're seeing is by design. The problem is that those tasked with selecting the offensive talent and designing the structure to execute this style of offense have so far failed at their job. It's obvious to those of us who follow the Bills closely that something is off with the passing game. I don't need Joe Marino, alt 22 or advanced analytics to see it. Even going back to the late 60's/early 70's when almost every offense pounded the ball first and emphasized the run game they had at least one big play WR. Think Warren Wells, Otis Taylor, Fred Biletnikoff and Don Maynard to name just 4 from Super Bowl winning teams. This has been pretty much a constant for most SB teams. The Chiefs sort of bucked the trend one season but they still had a 1st ballot, elite pass catching TE on the field.

Calvin Ridley missed an entire season and lost $11.1 MIL in salary for some small time on-line wagers. All this while the NFL itself is in bed with and promoting FanDuel and similar enterprises. Sorry, this just has a nasty stink to it.

McDermott statement in presser is telling concerning our offense
JohnNord replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is a little misleading. This was his exact quote: ”"Um, but it can't just be one one phase of your offense. So, no, they go hand in hand." (7:42-8:04) he later said: Well, it is because it's an important part of our offense. It's we've got we've got a great quarterback and you want to be able to move the ball two dimensionally and um you know, we should be able to move the ball with Josh through the air. How exactly is this incorrect? You need a balanced offense to compete in the postseason. The last three Super Bowl winners have proven this. You need a team that wins in the trenches. Also if you listened to the rest of the press conference he was very frustrated at how the Bills struggled to pass the football. It didn’t exactly sound like someone who wants to ground and pound and NOT pass the ball as you are projecting here -
I think evn Kromer would agree with this too. He is an OL Coach and should be an OL Coach.

Watch out for the Ravens. They are healthy now and will probably catch the Steelers for the division. I think they will be the team that represents the AFC in the Super Bowl if they can remain relatively healthy going forward.
-
Losing by design because they’re confident?Cuz they’ve won so much before right? Doesn’t matter if they need to win 3 road playoff games now because of these losses. It’s by design. They’re just that good. Btw…that ‘07 Giants team was not their ‘first Super Bowl’. Wide right. Remember? They even won one before that game. Anyone can also beat us. Now try to do that 3 times in a row on the road in the playoffs with those odds. Yeah I wouldn’t be planning parade routes in that scenario.
-
That's called 5d chess my friend- running the play they know you want to run, but expecting them to not expect it, and then hitting them where they expect it anyway. McD uses timeouts between plays to get no less than 3 steps ahead of the opponent 😏
-
I'm saying we became healthy and peaked at the right moment last year. To say we "overachieved" is conclusory and self-serving for your entire argument. You want to tear it all down when we are in a similar position this year losing key players to injury and 8 games left to right the ship.

I'm guessing the fact Pegula ponied up $415 million in this past off-season on contract guarantees somehow is left out of this conversation? WTF are we doing here? Starting to make up random stuff and then convincing ourselves it's true? Holy Sh!t. I've seen bad before on this board, but this is starting to really piss me off because half the stuff is just a bunch of bullsh!t.
