  1. Past hour
  2. One thing this generation has not learned is the value of driving a beater until you can afford a better car. I can well afford a nice new vehicle but I'm having trouble giving up my 2009 SUV because it runs good. Just sank $150 into it to keep it running. That's probably a lot less than Tsolakis' car payment. All these people need to take a class in Financial Common Sense.
  3. Did Posluszny miss significant time in his career?
  4. Dolphins could be like a cornered animal. Might be dangerous out of desperation (but mostly just dangerous for Tua if he tries to do too much).
  5. I live in Atlanta, but had season tickets for a couple of years during the Super Bowl run. I went to every home opener for many years, going back to early 80s, up until 2008. When the economy went to hell around that time, the budget was tight (both my wife and myself were in job transition-mode), and haven't been to a game since. It used to be reasonably inexpensive for round-trip flights. Using AirTran Amex, i could buy a RT ticket for $119. With that card, we received a 4th RT flight after purchasing 3. So, I could effectively have 4 RT flights for under $350. That was before all the stupid nickel and diming for baggage and seat choices. I can't usually get a single non-stop flight for under $350 today. I still had my parents homes and cars available during those trips. Now, it costs a fortune for hotels and car rental. Was hoping to get up there this year, but probably won't make it to Orchard Park. Already have tickets for Monday nighter in Atlanta. I plan to make it to the new Highmark next year. I'd want to be one of the few who fit this sub-group of Bills fans (mostly boomers) who can say they bridged the Bills' 3 home stadiums, starting with War Memorial, then to Rich Stadium, and finally new Highmark. On October 13, I'll be able claim seeing the Bills in 3 different Atlanta Falcon home stadiums.
  6. He called downfield shots in that first half against the Ravens. They weren't there. Josh came off two and checked down and I still think he checked out of a pass on the 2nd and 1. That's part of the point.... I think what is driving the conservative narrative is the fact that the lack of separation means we don't actually go deep even when there are deeper shots called.
  7. They need to win 4 more games than the Chargers in the remaining schedule to win the division if they lose their next Chargers matchup. It would make it very likely the Chargers win the division in that scenario. Obviously the Chiefs could still get in as a wild card.
  8. The Bills haven't posted anything yet but the Dolphins posted white jerseys. So, its either blue over white or the all blues. The rivalry jerseys look pretty good as the uniforms for the Pats game have been posted for both teams. https://www.gridiron-uniforms.com/GUD/controller/controller.php?action=teams-season&team_id=BUF&year=2025
  9. Who is cheering it here? And, are you cheering on the thought police?
  10. Serious question, Why? I am not aware of any bad blood between Daboll and McD. Coordinators leave to get HC gigs all the time nothing shocking there. Coordinators also fail as head coaches and come back to be coordinators all the time too...
  11. i don't know if i agree it was a bad draft. four players got second contracts. Elam was an obvious swing and miss, but 4 second contract guys makes up for this IMO
  12. Trump? No, I specifically rejected a vaccine he's proud of and was recommended by him. I'd consider myself stupid if I took it. How are YOU feeling?
  13. Coverage is Williams weak spot. It is also Andreesens though. Shaq is the best coverage backer that is a backup, but I don't think he will be ready to play. Williams will see the field a lot this week in Milanos absence, but not because of his coverage prowess.
  14. See what I mean about your usual BS? If I may quote you directly:
  15. Agree on both points. I think the Bills are playing a game of not being dependent on any particular player other than Josh too much. Ideally you draft and develop a talent somewhere near AJ Brown but that is a home run. The Bills have drafted and developed talent though with Shakir, and still a wait and see with Kincaid and Coleman, but these guys all have unique skill sets that allow the Bills to adjust to what defenses present and that is what makes this team so difficult to play defense against. Sure they have limitations in deep routes and sometimes in getting open, but I wouldn't put the ability to get over the hump of getting a championship on them. It would be nice to see Coleman become a revelation and develop into a Mike Evans type threat, but the Bills aren't going to take the top off of many defenses, and the defenses don't really seem inclined to give the Bills many opportunities to do that the way they play them anyhow.
  16. The Dolphins have better receivers than us. I mean I would take Hill or Waddle over any one of our receivers. But that really doesn't matter when we have much better OL, coaching and a more competent D. Oh, a better QB too!! That said, I have a weird feeling about this game. I like it when we are not huge favorites and the media doubts us. Something tells me the Dolphins will put up a fight. Division games plus it being Thursday may not be a blowout.
  17. His first-ever film appearance:
  18. Yes, Hap, you have been kind of a broken record on the subject, and it was hard to argue with you. McDermott's defensive line has been loaded with guys who are very good at handling their assignments but few guys who can create on their own. Rousseau is the highest level example of that - he's really good at his position, consistent pass rush that is a bother but doesn't get home much, excellent run stopping and pursuit, but he isn't a problem. Nobody on the line has been a problem except, as you say, Miller. As I said, my seats were low and I didn't spend much time trying to focus on any particular player - White a little, Bosa a little, but mostly I was just watching the play go by. However, as the game went along and I just watched the plays, I kept seeing someone on the d line flash by, and every time I checked, it was Bosa. He was coming off the line, bursting off the line, immediately putting the blocker on the defensive. He just kept flashing into and out of my view. It was pretty clear that the Jets felt his presence on a lot of plays when he didn't actually make a play. And, of course, he can finish. The punch out to cause the fumble was beautiful, not to mention his pursuit on the play. All of it is what you and I have talked about often - another difference maker beyond Allen, a guy who is disruptive and who forces the offense to account for him on every play. The question is can he harness his creative energy within the system, so that he's both disruptive and responsible for his assignment. He got burned more than once against the Ravens, crashing down the line to pursue the running back while Jackson kept the ball and ran past him to open field. I think he can. He was so animated on the bench in the fourth quarter. He played all those years on a team that was, in my view, mid-level dysfunctional. The Chargers always pretended to be good but never had what it takes to actually be good. Now he finds himself on a team where he's welcome and appreciated, and a team that actually is good. On the bench, he looked like he was celebrating the fact that his career has taken him to what may be the perfect place for him: a contender that will platoon him and that will look for ways for him to use his special talents.
  19. I'd assume this to be the case as well UNLESS he has truly demonstrated a mastery of the game and earned the confidence of McD/Beane.
  20. At my son's university they were told by their professor that if they did not overtly do things to "support" BLM then that meant they were racist and in support of those who oppose BLM. It wouldn't shock me to see this attitude at the highschool level either.
  21. Debating whether or not I feel like seeing BillsFanNC’s Twitter feed doing mental gymnastics to show it wasn’t a white supremacist. Maybe the kid was near a trans person once. According to you, that’s like being near a chunk of uranium 239.
  22. Younger people are impressionable. That’s not news. Those teaching and counseling them at American universities are OVERWHELMINGLY democrat/liberal. How is this a mystery to you?
  23. The year we drafted elam... It was different. Bad draft. The plan sucked.
  24. Pam Bondi sure can’t. And that’s the scary thing
  25. Allegedly, the person who shot Charlie came from a conservative family and had views that differed completely from his family. You tell me how this happened? Somebody is radicallizing these people.
