  1. Past hour
  2. The tax laws are often Ed changed. Almost always in favor of the rich. Closing loopholes for them would be welcomed by the 99% if messaged correctly. Trump located them with minuscule , short lived breaks of their own. Perhaps D’s could do the same while increasing taxes on the rich.
  3. And just to note: The Bills are currently 2nd in points scored The Bills are currently 15th in points against The Bills are currently 3rd best in point differential at +43 points (1 point behind 2nd place Seattle, and 6 points behind 1st place Detroit). So, only two teams have outscored their opponents by more points than the Bills have thus far this year. So, even though our games have been closer than some would like, we are still winning by more than most teams. Granted it's only 4 games, but I don't see the Bills not remaining near the top in point differential because they were 3rd in 2024, 4th in 2023, 2nd in 2022, 1st in 2021 and 5th in 2020. So the idea of us not winning by enough or having enough style points doesn't really seem to be an issue when you compare the Bills to the rest of the NFL (over more than 5+ years now). They are generally winning their games by more points than 85-100% of the other teams (depending on the year---currently, this year, they are winning their games by more points than 93.75% of the other teams).
  4. You still haven’t proved me wrong. And you did the work, not well of course, but it looks like I can assign it to you. The tax structure isn’t supposed to be punitive. It’s supposed to be fair. Why does the little guy get relative peanuts, but cap gains and top brackets are low? Rich guys love you because you make it easy for them. Prove me wrong.
  5. Jaruon was the expert at the moral victory. The 2006 Bills for example were 7-9 that year and 6 out of the 9 losses were by one score (3 wins out of 7 were also by one score). The Jauron era Bills were also masters at winning games towards the middle end of the season to crawl at or close to .500 and on the fringes of the playoffs to only lose the last two weeks of the season or something to just not even make it interesting in the last week of the season even as a long shot. McD for all the Jauron comparisons had a very different pre-Josh 2017 season. The Bills that year if they lost tended to lose big. They lost 7 games in the regular season that year. Of those 7 losses on 2 were by a single score (and 4 out of those 5 multi-score losses with 3 possession losses). Of the Bills 9 wins only 3 were by 2 score margins. So they either won close games or lost by blowout. Whereas Jauron's teams usually had less blowout losses and more blowout victories for some weird reason. Just weird how the NFL works, hard to win in it... The 1 seed is such a tremendous advantage. I would also argue having nothing to play for in week 18 if you aren't getting a bye is a big advantage too. The Bills in 2024 had the two seed locked week 18 and got to rest everyone. Whereas the 2023 Bills had to play down to the wire to get the 2 seed. The 2023 team seemed to be a lot less healthy and more gassed by the divisional round. KC on the other hand was locked into the 3 seed so they rested in week 18 in 2023.
  6. I don’t disagree with your premise, but I do think it needs to be somewhat more than that. To be effective on third downs, he’ll most likely need to get the feel of the game. And what I mean by that is, the feel of how people are blocking him and how they’re playing against him so he knows what moves he can make to get to the passer. It’s one thing to see tape on someone, it’s another thing to see how someone will try to defend you in live game action. I hope I’m making sense. Go bills!
  7. I know they turned the footprint a bit to mitigate the wind and blowing snow, so the sun’s path across the field will be different. Hopefully, it will not affect play on the field. Also, the intensity is a bit different in ATL usually. I assume the home team will be on the sunny side, so that it’s colder for visitors.
  8. Great post. But I've seen many Bills fans act like it's crazy to expect 1st, 2nd & 3rd round picks to be seeing consistent playing time their rookie year. Everyone acts like only Bills rookies need a few years. Expecting them to start, see consistent play time, or even just have any impact at all in their first year is totally CRAZY. Our roster is so stacked & has so few holes that obviously it's crazy to expect early round rookies to do much of anything! 1st round picks are projects that might start, but shouldn't be expected to do much for a few years! 2nd & 3rd round picks are backups or rotational guys unless someone gets hurt. It's only the 4th - 7th round guys (probably selected by scouts & not hand-picked by Beane/McDermott) that somehow can crack the starting lineup or make an impact! Of course, there's an exception to everything, but it still feels like if this team drafted better in the early rounds they'd have already gotten over the hump. I don't care what anyone says, but Worthy has been a very good weapon for KC & was the exact kind of speedy target the Bills could still use. Coleman could keep getting better, but he's not the home run, big play threat you have to game plan for like Worthy is.
  9. No *****? I’m speaking of the 49ers missing him as it is clearly stated Purdy didn’t play in the OP. Seems everyone else knew what I was speaking of.
  10. This board is what it is. It’s an outlet. There’s not going to be any elevating of the discourse. I think everyone understands that and knows what recourse is available.
  11. Well, it degrades the board and it's purpose. It is a big reason why the new place was created and more civil discussion can occur.
  12. Once Hoecht returns, I’d keep Bosa as a situational 3rd down pass rusher. A “closer” role. let Groot, AJ, Hoecht and even Walker handle edge on 1st and 2nd downs.
  13. it's exactly what you're saying and i can forgive that tbh. it was a very select few of us who saw Allen coming in 2019. so not only am i greatly enjoying this version of the Bills, it was expected. for the vast majority who didn't it's very logical why you'd just be pleasantly surprised w where we are at. but don't hold it against folks who expected more at this point.
  14. I think Purdy is a good QB and a great fit for his situation. I just think Baker is very very good, and easily a top 10 QB in the league with a very friendly contract for his production. More props to Mayfield than shade at Purdy. Mac Jones is getting the benefit of being a new QB in a new system with a good coach. I think he/SF will run into issues the more he plays. Purdy is a better QB than Jones.
  15. Why do you keep feeding the trolls? It makes you both troll.
  16. That's what I wondered, do the gays have rights that I am unaware of and what are they?
  17. But for 4 years / $80 million, totally worth it!
  18. I was specifically countering the poster who was trying to make the case that the Steelers’ defense is some sort of measuring stick through the first four weeks of 2025. I didn’t really have much to say about the Patriots’ offense - though that poster was hyping them up for moving the ball against Pittsburgh, conveniently ignoring the five turnovers they committed when claiming they could move the ball at will against Buffalo. Let me get this right... the jury is still out on Buffalo because they played well against weak teams while missing multiple defensive starters, and at the same time, your argument is that the jury is still out on the Patriots’ defense just because they got a starter back after performing poorly against weak teams? Make it make sense. I’m not convinced this is the best team Buffalo has faced. They played the Ravens at full strength, and Baltimore is on another level compared to New England. I’m pretty confident that will be reflected in their record by the end of the 2025 season, assuming Lamar Jackson gets healthy.
  19. After so many years of Pats dominance, I always hope that the Bills destroy them each and every time they play. Massholes can eat a big one.
  20. More so they are just not a very relevant team 2021 was the last year they made the playoffs. Since Brady left they have missed the playoffs 4 out of the last 5 years. Their last 3 years win totals have been 8/4/4. They do look like they have a direction with Maye so I think longer term there's some developments there. But in the end the reason you don't know them is that it's been a fairly irrelevant franchise. I do recognize a few names on that list. Baremore was the last Billy B defensive guy I remember getting drafted and having an impact, Milton Williams was a big contract they signed from the Eagles and Campbell was the 4th overall pick. So I recognized a few names. I also know our old friend Diggs is on the Pats and Hunter Henry was a name that's been around the league awhile.
  21. Sigh I said that in an earlier post, that you play who’s on your schedule and I said that about the Steelers to make the point what Maye did the last 3 games was impressive had nothing do with saying your schedule has been weak (which both teams schedules have been). YOU'RE the one got butt hurt from me stating something make a point about my QB performance being impressive and had nothing to do with the Bills wins. as for the Ravens say whatever you want their D right now is ranked dead last in scoring they stink at this point on D. Thats a simple fact. I see Bills nation has gained more trolls by being good.. Very very possible!! But it should be a fun season for us hopefully see the Bills in like the AFCCG game lmao (I kid before some troll calls me delusional) but be fun get a 3rd match in the playoffs
  22. Hated IT! You just described 28 of the 32 starting QB's.
  23. I partake as often as possible in the game day thread.. The heat of the moment can overrule common sense and venting happens. sometimes I think low level trolling happens. It is what it is. The overreactions are predictable and tired but I get it. It's the internet.People can say or feel any sorta way behind a keyboard I'm grateful for NFL . I Love the NFL. and my home town team is the Buffalo Bills. Our fan base is legend Im embracing ALL of it. . I want NFL glory though. I feel lucky to be able to be living it when many friends and family can only watch the #17 era from heaven. Edit: no NFL game is a 100% sure Dub. Whenever I heard about a game being a "Trap" game meaning overlooking an opponent I think nah. I don't really buy that teams do that. It's hard to win in the NFL. what is different for me as a fan is playing the Bills be seen as many teams "super Bowl" we are THAT Good. YES!
  24. I know it's not, I didn't word my statement well
