The Biden era passed subsidies for coverage premiums expire on 12/31/25. You can't lose something in 2026 that you never had.

Allen certainly has his share of haters, mainly B-more fans I would say. Good lord...on X there's a massive contingent of Raven's fans who have 17 living rent free in their heads on a daily basis. But you're right though. There's lots of people who don't necessarily like the Bills, but enjoy watching Josh Allen.

Republican Self Reflection Thread
BillsFanNC replied to JDHillFan's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I think it's idiotic to overreact to a couple of elections in blue states, but a few thoughts: 1) Scot Pressler, TPUSA, and a bunch of others have been working hard to register voters. I said it in 2022, and I've said it repeatedly since: our coalition is "lower propensity" and that means we have to do better at turning out voters than we have in the past. 2) We need to focus on the home front. The president has done a lot that has already paid off in lower interest rates and lower inflation, but we inherited a disaster from Joe Biden and Rome wasn't built in a day. We're going to keep on working to make a decent life affordable in this country, and that's the metric by which we'll ultimately be judged in 2026 and beyond. 3) The infighting is stupid. I care about my fellow citizens--particularly young Americans--being able to afford a decent life, I care about immigration and our sovereignty, and I care about establishing peace overseas so our resources can be focused at home. If you care about those things too, let's work together. -
My wife is definitely a Swiftie over 50, and listens to the Kelce Brothers podcast weekly. HOWEVER, when Bishop hit Travis, she yelled "Take that you bum"!

Virginia Governors Race
boyst replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
NC is blue if you look at any non presidential results map. For a very very long time. For all but about 35 years of NC statehood the governor has been blue, the AG has been blue, and the lt gov has been blue about 75%. -
Dorian did play the "Hoecht" role for a few plays vs KC last week. He pushed the O lineman well too. I wonder if they will use Dorian in this role now that they see the success it produced. I sure hope they do.

Internet tough guy. For allegedly not caring what I think you sure spent a lot of time responding. I think the issue here is that you’re frustrated because, in the real world, you’re kind of a loser and nobody gives a whit about any opinion you may have. The world passed you by, you’re angry and you express it with your gratuitous nastiness.

When did this injury occur or was this some sort of condition that just reared its ugly head? I'm hoping that he's able to give it another go at the NFL level but if this is his career that's very unfortunate. Yeah its nice to be in your early 20's with a 6 figure amount in the bank and no student debt but unless this guy has a clear "Plan B" line of work he went to college for that it going to put this young man at quite the cross roads. Hopefully he has some sort of fallback options if this is a career ender.

What team "won" on trade deadline day-2025 edition
BillsShredder83 replied to TBBills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe in 2027, but 0 chance he comes out this year. There was 0 chance before the season started, and theres even less of a chance with how it's gone so far. Dude was definitely hurt to start the year, and grinding through, I have no doubt. Shoulder injury it looks like. His play is picking up, but I can't see him going in even first 2 rounds if he comes out now... could slide further than 3rd rd His plan, from the guidance of Peyton/Eli/Arch Sr/Cooper has been to do it the right way, think long term, and be thorough. That is evident from him redshirting as freshman, and then not transferring last year despite being behind Ewers. He could've started and made a boatload in NIL, and he took the patient long term approach. He needs more college reps. Period. Also, I could 100% see some Eli type shenanigans when he comes out, and hardball a team like the Jets into not picking him... and I honestly dont blame him. The jets/browns have had endless #1 overall - top 3 overall QBs taken, and none have worked out... 15 years. No team is that bad at drafting. The organization has NO CLUE how to properly foster and develop a QB period. We've seen them castoff guys to go on and have success elsewhere. Lord knows how msny others they just ruined, that would've been successful in another organization. If im a Manning, I am not allowing him to g2 these QB Destruction Factories. Chicago - no (they might be ok, but 2 years out). Jets - **** no! Titans - a softer no, but im trying to avoid it, not with that ownership. Arizona - avoid at all costs. Horrible/clueless/greedy owner. Hes going to have to go somewhere bad, but im moving hell on earth, to avoid NYJ & CLE. Hard no's. -
Hot Take: “Old Joe” Flacco exposing what some (including me) suspected…
harryS replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
lol, Burrow beat KC in KC to go to a Super Bowl. Thank God he's injury prone. Every long-term injury he suffers does knock him down a peg or so in the rankings because he's rehabbing instead of being on the field developing, and scar tissue builds up over time on that body. At his peak, he was absolutely top 3 and is probably somewhere in the top 10 at this point. -
I would have thought a fierce independent such as yourself would be disgusted by the corruption surrounding the laptop. It’s as if you believe the laptop itself is the issue and not powerful people in Washington trying to sway an election with their corruption. That puts you squarely in the Axis of Idiocy with Tiberius and Nedboi. Congrats.

I agree with this. Burrow's ball placement is so good hes often beating perfect coverage. I think his job is easier than Josh's and Mahomes in the post Tyreek and prime Kelce years but I don't think its fair to penalize him for having the best 1 - 2 WR combo in the NFL. I think he would have success in any offense with decent Oline play.

30.8 Million watched the Bills Chief's game
Inigo Montoya replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh Allen is the most exciting player to watch in the NFL today. He's charismatic, and by all accounts, seems to be a genuinely good person. I think people hate-watch the Chiefs like they did the Cowboys and then the Patriots with Brady. I suspect people watch Allen because they like him and its usually a good show. (AFCE and Chiefs fans excepted) -
Perspective Matters: The Offense Is Producing

The best game we played was against the Super Bowl favorites. -
My wife isn't a Swiftie but she reads what the Swifties are saying and they were all crying about the hit Bishop laid on Kelce, which was perfectly legal. They are generally clueless about the rules and the mechanics of football.

With the Elections Over, the Shutdown Will be Over Soon Too David Strom Expect that the government shutdown will end soon. It has accomplished its goal of mobilizing Democrats for the Tuesday election. Negotiations began shortly after the polls opened yesterday. Unsurprisingly, many of the less leftist Democrats in the Senate had been itching to get the shutdown behind them, but Chuck Schumer had pressured them to wait until the voting was over to break ranks. {snip} No matter how cynical you are about politics and politicians, it's not nearly enough. And no matter how much you hate the media, it's not nearly enough. These reporters could have written about all these machinations days or a week or so ago, but chose not to. Does anybody believe that none of them had picked up on the strategy, given their connections? Everything is performance. https://hotair.com/david-strom/2025/11/05/with-the-elections-over-the-shutdown-will-be-over-soon-too-n3808566

I don't care about viewership, but I do care about chicken wings eaten per capita of that 31 million folks.

They don’t think Republicans, in large, want to ban gay marriage. If they did, maybe they’d struggle more. But they don’t .. and for good reason. Most Republicans don’t want that. They also, justifiably, want nothing to do with the trans movement .. which is something the left makes them accept/celebrate. They believe they are destroying the gay rights movement .. and polling would indicate they are correct.

I watched with the sound off. I've had enough of Romo. Unfortunately, I'll have to listen to him this week. At the bar in Tampa to watch the Bills side by side with the Bucs vs Pats.

Game week thread - Bills at Dolphins
Royale with Cheese replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Epenesa, Solomon and Dorian take that place. Epenesa isn't as explosive as Hoecht but has the size. He does have a first quick step and long.....he does a good job of knocking the ball down. Solomon and Dorian don't have the size but they have the speed. Speed makes interior lineman nervous. I really liked seeing the speed on the inside this last week. If the playoff defense is for 3rd and passing down situations.... Rousseau and Bosa on the ends. Oliver/Dorian or Solomon or AJ on the inside. That should generate a good rush.
